The first reaction is Marina
Maya and Carina had just put Liam and their two newborn babys to bed.. They sit on the couch and turn the TV on again. They had been keeping up with it a bit. But they were not expecting what they saw on that TV. "Trump wins election" the headline reads. "F-ck!" Maya yells, quickly covering her mouth as she remembers the sleeping babies. Carina starts cursing him out in italian. "Baby. Baby calm down." Maya says, hugging her. Carina stops talking for a second, remembering the babies. "Right. Right. Sleeping babies.." Carina mutters. Burying her head in Maya's neck. "I'm so scared, Bella.." She whispers. "I know.. I am too.. but we'll figure this out, baby.." Maya whispers back, trying to reassure her.
Next reactions are Travis, Vic, Sullivan and Andy.
Vic was on a FaceTime call with Travis, since Victoria was in DC. "Can you hear me? Is this stupid thing working now?" Vic asks. "Yeah. I can hear you. And I dont like the way this is looking right now.." Travis says back, glancing at the TV. "Yeah. Me neither. If that jerk actually gets it. I might have to fight even harder for Crisis One to stay funded.." Vic says, looking nervous. "I'll come down if it comes to it." Travis says. They both glance at the TV and see the headline. "...f-cking hell.." Travis mutters out. In shock. He runs into the bunk room where Andy and Sullivan were sleeping (in separate beds).. "guys wake up." Travis says. Andy stirs. "What.. we're trying to get some sleep between calls.." she grumbles. "Get your ^ss up! That orange freak actually won!" Travis snaps, punching the wall. Andy sputters up, nearly falling out of bed. "You're joking.." she says. "I f-cking wish.." Travis mutters. Seething. Sullivan grumbles awake, taking his earbuds out. "Whats with the yelling?" His deep voice asks. "That orange freak of a man won!" Andy snaps. Now pissed off too. "He- He what!?" Sullivan sits up. He looks at his phone.. all three are just absolutely smoking with anger.
The third reactions are Amelia Shepherd and Atticus Lincoln.
Amelia had just finished putting Scout to bed. She sat on the couch next to Link. "So. You really think that orange freak is gonna win?" She asks, leaning back. "I don't know.. But its not lookin good.." Link says back, looking at the TV. "Wait really?" Amelia sits up looking at the TV. Frowning. "Thats.. not good.." she mutters out. After about half an hour. They're sitting there. Amelia is laying back. Link is sitting up straight. "This is total bull.." Amelia mumbles, looking up at the ceiling. "Why are you so calm about this!?" Link suddenly snaps. "I don't know." Amelia lies. She stares up at the ceiling. "I have to go check on Jo.." Link says, getting up. "I'll pick Scout up tomorrow night for my time with him.." he says before leaving. Amelia lays there. Starting to cry. She knows what this means for her, since she's Bi. She leaves to go to the first place she can think of. The Liquor Store. She hesitates at the door. "No. No. What the hell am I doing.." She mutters, her head resting against the wheel. She drives to the closest meeting instead..
The next reactions are the new interns.
They were all huddled in front of the TV in Mer's old house. "Trump wins election" the screen reads. "What the f-ck, man.." Jules mutters. "This is actually bull.." Blue mutters. "What you said.." Lucas says. Simone is just sitting there.. "I.. need a minute.." she mutters, walking out. (Can't do much with them since they're still sorta new to the show so idk how to write them)
Next are Jo, Schmitt, and his boyfriend James.
Jo was facetiming Schmitt. Having put just Luna to bed. "I'm gonna get so drunk tonight if that little sh-t wins.." She was saying jokingly. "Yeah. Us too." Levi replies. "You don't actually think.. do you?" Jo asks. "I don't know.. I really hope not.." James replies from the background of Schmitt's call. "So where's Link at?" Levi asks. "Oh, he was taking Scout to Amelia's. Probably staying there for now so he doesn't miss the results." Jo says, already popping a bottle open. "Don't drink too much. You do have a little baby there." James says from the background again. "Yeah yeah" Jo says, drinking a few sips. "You ready to look?" Jo asks after a few minutes. "As ready as I'll ever be.." Levi mutters. They both turn the TV on at the same time to the same headline. "..sh-t!" Levi exclaims. "What the hell.." Jo mutters. Staring at it. "Are you fcking JOKING!?" Jo snaps. "This is bullsh!t.." James says from behind Levi. Shocking both of them since the priest usually doesn't curse.
The last ones are Tom Korasic, Nick and Meredith (And if anyone thinks that Tom would be pro orange. No he absolutely would not be. He's not that big of a dick. And I hate the last episode he was in, so I'm ignoring it, bc why tf would they randomly make him s-xist/misogynistic!? I mean really?)
Tom, Nick, and Mer (And Zola, though they didn't know she was awake) were at Mer's place. The headline comes up after a commercial break. "Oh you have GOT to be kidding me.." Tom says. "This is crap.." Mer says. "What the hell!?" A voice yells from upstairs. Mer and Nick sit up. "Was she awake this whole time?" Nick asks. "Oh.. yeah.. I'll be right back.." Mer says, going upstairs..
