Zayne hates seeing Caleb talking to you, you have always been closer, considering Caleb was originally raised alongside you, but not as brothers, Caleb was chosen to be your guard since the beginning, and of course being children you both tended to play more often. Him, on the other hand, was raised as a mage, he was brilliant, an extraordinary talented child, and the people from the mage tower could not let the opportunity go to waste, so at the bare age of six (while others began even dreaming about becoming a mage at eleven) he was already training. Nevertheless the three of you were best friends, when Zayne could sneak out or ask for permission to play with his friends, sometimes he can even invite you to a picnic, and of course Caleb would be there.
As time went on, Zayne excelled at healing magic, and it was a rare one since most of the healers tended more for a water magic, but not him; his ice powers turned out to be a better version of the water properties the others had. At the age of 20 he already was part of the magic committee.
Caleb, on the other hand, kept training until he became one of the greatest duelists, helping with wars he was called for; he left your side too soon, the kingdom couldn't let this talent go to any other place. A magic wielder was weird among knigts, and both Zayne and Caleb had it.
So what happened to you?
The King thought his daughter had no magic, since you didn't present any type, at least not evidently. But when you got the chance to go train with the wizards they discovered your true power: enhancing others skills, while canalizing it. It was brilliant, the golden trio from the century. Your father was pleased so he soon sent both Zayne and Caleb to train you. Life was good, perfect even. So what could possibly happen to force both boys out of your life?
