"Hello everyone! Are you guys excited for today's adventure?" Caine boomed with excitement.
"Uhm.. What's today's adventure again?" Pomni asked nervously.
"Uhm!" Caine suddenly went still, going silent.
"Caine?.. You good?" Jax tilted his head, his smirk faltering.
"I don't feel so good.." Caine muttered, "Adventure cancelled I might be coming down with something!" Caine raised his voice so everyone could hear.
"Oh noo.." Jax said sarcastically.
"Be nice he's sick." Ragatha spoke through her teeth.
"Oh be quiet Ragatha." Jax snapped.
"No you be quiet Jax! No one actually likes you!" Gangle snapped, raising her voice.
"What— Gangle?" Jax tilted his head, not fully registering her words.
"No one likes you! You always bully people and you're just a jerk!" Gangle continued, her tone becoming harsher.
Jax stood there, going silent, glancing to Pomni and Ragatha, and then back to Gangle.
"Uhm, okay buddy, keep yapping nonsense." Jax moved his pointer finger in a circle by his head, insinuating Gangle was insane, rolling his eyes.
"No one *$&€¥&@#% likes you Jax! You are a jerk and just hate on everyone because you can't fathom someone missing you when you abstract eventually you COLD BOWL OF SOUP!" Gangle yelled, the entire circus going quiet.
"Jeez, Gangle, are you alright?" Jax smirked nervously, hoping to sound a little more genuine than usual, maybe so Gangle would calm down, maybe to save himself.
".. No. I'm not." Gangle stated quieter. "I'm going to my room." she muttered, walking off.
Jax turned back to the rest of the members, "Uhm, what the *#%&@ was that?" Jax asked, pointing over to where Gangle went.
"I think she just called you a cold bowl of soup." Pomni muttered, "I'm gonna go check on her." Pomni said, walking to Gangle's room.
"Uh, Gangle?" Pomni knocked on her door.
"Go away.." Gangle muttered through the door.
"Gangle, please, what's wrong?" Pomni asked, Gangle opening up the door finally.
"Come in.." Gangle muttered quietly.
As Pomni stepped in, she noticed the messiness of Gangle's room, seeing manga stacked on her desk.
"This is.. Uhm. Nice. Small." She muttered.
"I know it's a mess.. Sorry.." Gangle muttered, sinking to the ground against her bed.
"Hey, it's okay. Just.. What's wrong?" Pomni sat next to her.
"I'm just so ^#%€@$ tired of this circus, of Jax.. He's such a jerk. I guess I just finally snapped after all this time." Gangle muttered.
"Hey," Pomni said quietly, "You have me, and Zooble, and Ragatha. Also Kinger, kind of. He's not super there much though." Pomni smirked remembering how frantic Kinger was over a pillow falling over on his fortress.
"Yeah, thanks Pomni.." Gangle smiled, less quiet.
"Anytime. You're my friend." Pomni smiled.
".. Pomni?.." Gangle muttered quietly.
"Yeah Gangle?.."
"Could you.. Stay here tonight?.." Gangle asked quietly.
"Yeah, of course. But we should probably get breakfast, maybe even invite Zooble?" Pomni suggested.
"Yeah, that'd be nice.." Gangle agreed.
Gangle and Pomni went to breakfast, talking with Zooble throughout it.
"Oh! Ragatha!" Pomni called out.
Ragatha snapped out of her thoughts. "Yeah Pomni?"
"Wanna come to our sleepover? It's me Gangle and Zooble!" Pomni smiled excitedly.
"Oh, uhm, sure!" Ragatha hesitated.
"Yay! Girls night!" Gangle smiled.
"Soo, Pomni, truth or dare?" Gangle smirked.
"Uhm, truth." Pomni smiled nervously.
"Have you ever had a crush on a circus member?" Gangle giggled, Pomni's face turning pink.
"Well.. Uhm, yeah.." Pomni admitted.
"Oohhh!! Who?" Gangle continued to hold back a giggle.
"Uhm... Jax..." Pomni buried her head in her pillow that she was holding.
"What- say that again." Gangle was holding back a laugh.
"Noo.." Pomni said through her pillow, her voice muffled.
"Come on I didn't hear you!" Gangle smiled.
"Jax! I had a crush on Jax.. I maybe still do.." Pomni muttered.
"Genuinely... How?" Zooble tilted their head. "I mean, I get I'm a lesbian, but.. Jax?? Really?" Zooble said in disbelief.
"Ok, well, truth or dare Zooble!" Pomni asked, well, more like stated.
"Truth. Duh." Zooble replied.
"Ok, have YOU ever had a crush on anyone in the circus?" Pomni asked, smirking.
"Uhm. Yes.." Zooble said quietly.
"Oohhh who?" Pomni smirked wider.
"I'm NOT saying dude."
"It had to be one one of us." Pomni thought.
"Well, yeah, I'm a lesbian." Zooble rolled their eyes.
"So tell!!" Pomni pushed.
"Fine.. I've actually had a crush on all of you before.. But especially Gangle.." Zooble blushed.
"I KNEW IT!" Pomni raised her voice, smirking.
"You.. Liked me?" Gangle blushed.
"Still do." Zooble stated.
".. Woah.." Gangle muttered.
Pomni and Ragatha glanced at each other.
"You're seeing this right?" Pomni whispered and leaned into Ragatha.
"Yeah.." Ragatha whispered back.
