Now that he led Neo Zeon, it was rare for Casval to find time to himself, let alone Nnyley. This didn't bother her, at least, not too much. She understood the importance of his mission. She understood that he was always an incredibly busy man, even before he took on the mantle of Char Aznable once again.

Still, a wife was allowed to ache for her husband, wasn't she?

Nnyley's eyes slowly closed as she leaned into her desk chair. The creak of the heavy furniture echoed in the meeting hall. In a panic, she shot straight up and collapsed into her chair, her cheeks glowing deep red at the heaviness of the other important members of Zeon in the meeting. Quess, his newest protégé, giggled snottily at her embarrassment. Nervously, Nnyley looked up to her husband. Kindness shone in his icy hues for just a moment before he turned towards the meeting hall and continued his speech.

"However, I believe it's best to end things here. Thank you."

Quess immediately ran towards Casval and looped her arms around his. She shot Nnyley a nasty look, one that may have cut a little too deep to the much older woman. She sucked in a shaky breath and closed her eyes again. Quess Paraya was just a child. She didn't know any better. It was a school girl's crush. One that Nnyley herself more than understood. Still, she didn't have to be happy about it.

"Gyunei," Casval muttered. "Take Quess to the training hall."

The warrant officer blinked. He shot up from his seat and saluted the blond as the young girl pouted. "Yes, sir. Right away."

"Will you be watching me, Char?" Quess batted her pretty eyelashes at the man.

"Yes, in due time."

"Promise?"

Casval sighed and smiled. It was one that didn't reach his eyes. "Of course. Go on now."

Nodding, Quess left with Gyunei and left Nnyley and Casval in the slowly emptying meeting room. A long silence fell between them up until the heavy door clicked shut.

A heavy sigh escaped the man. Slowly, he reached out for Nnyley. Ice blue met chocolaty brown as their gloved hands touched each other. He relaxed in his seat. Nnyley smiled only to gasp as she was suddenly pulled into his lap. Loudly, the desk chair clattered against the floor as her chest pressed against his. His forehead rested against hers while his hands squeezed hers tightly.

"This is exhausting," he murmured.

"I can imagine," she whispered back. Reluctantly, she pulled her hands away from her husband's and slowly took off her gloves. Bare fingers ran through his locks, letting the golden curls come undone from the slick hairstyle he wore nowadays. His hair hung loosely in front of his ears and hid his scar just slightly.

"Take me home."

Nnyley blinked. They didn't really have a home. The place she considered 'their home' was the Argama. The place they had met. The place where they fell in and made love. They hadn't been home in almost five years. Her expression softened. "Casval..."

His arms wrapped around her waist as he buried his head into the crook of her neck. "Just... stay here for a moment. Just for a moment."

Nnyley pushed him into her chest as she held him tightly. "For as long as you need, Casval. As long as you need."
