Squalo's Sporadic Travels

Summary:

After returning to his world, Squalo has been under the almost obsessive care of his family. All in an effort to avoid the possible "aftereffects" of his unplanned dimensional journey. But even with all that extra care, Squalo still traveled to other timelines. Each time, his children or his husband had to retrieve him in person; fortunately, they were able to erase the memories of those involved and prevent the original timeline from going awry.

This is an extra from the story "Dimensional Exchange."

Chapter 1: ¡¿Esta es una batalla por los Anillos Vongola?! - Parte 1

Chapter Text

Namimori High School Tower

Due to the conflict over the Vongola Rings, a series of fights were organized to decide their ownership. That night, the fight for the Rain Ring was scheduled in the tower.

Yamamoto Takeshi represented Tsunayoshi Sawada.

And Superbia Squalo represented Xanxus D. Vongola.

As the two fought for their lives in a flooding building, spectators outside watched intently. Tsuna and his friends didn't hesitate to show their concern for Takeshi's condition. Quite the opposite of Varia's group.

Takeshi had so far refused to use the edge of his sword and persisted in using Shigure Soen Ryu, even when his opponent revealed he knew all the techniques.

Squalo seemed confident in knowing the techniques of a Shigure Soen Ryu user. However, that knowledge later came back to haunt him. This style is a sword art that develops gradually as it is passed down from master to student. Therefore, the techniques are not necessarily the same.

This lack of knowledge, coupled with his sense of pride as a swordsman—not using his rain of flames or using deadly attacks against an opponent who has no intention of "cutting" him—should be factors contributing to his imminent defeat.

Although his sharp words continually scold Takeshi for his harmless attitude, deep down he is also worried. Squalo finds his pride in his magnificent sword skills. But in addition to being a swordsman, he is also an assassin; many of his skills and techniques were honed to kill.

But the "kid" has no intention of harming him. Squalo never considered the possibility of losing. Had it been anyone else, he wouldn't have bothered to postpone this battle, and at the slightest intention of killing, he would have had his head blown off with a slash.

When he saw the ninth stance, he wondered, "Should I lose this round?" Winning or losing won't change the final result. After all, Xanxus will never be able to become the Vongola Decimo. "The rings will never accept him."

Although Takeshi was still an inexperienced brat in the way of the sword, he was a worthy opponent for someone his age. As for Xanxus's reaction, Squalo was used to dealing with his bad temper.

The only thing he'll have to endure is Xanxus's rejection for breaking his promise. "Will he feel like I betrayed him?" Squalo told himself that someone like Xanxus wouldn't be affected by that.

"Then screw him!" Squalo didn't think anything of it when he felt Takeshi's sword inches away from impacting his head. But suddenly he felt a tug at his heart. His body shuddered, and he suddenly vanished from that spot.

Squalo didn't know he had been the victim of an unexpected variable, caused by a completely confused dimensional traveler suffering from the aftereffects of a "Dimensional Swap."

Takeshi, being closer, couldn't dodge the wave that used Squalo as its center and was hit directly. For a few seconds, he thought he saw pink smoke. The ceiling above them shattered, and water fell directly on both of them.

"Takeshi!" Hayato shouted worriedly alongside his friends. Through the screen, he saw Takeshi sinking into the water and struggling to get out. On the other hand, Squalo stood under the current of water. "That guy still hasn't lost!"

"I'm worried Squalo might take this seriously from now on." Dino immediately received Tsuna's incredulous look. As well as Riohey's incredulous question, "Is that guy still holding back?"

Dino had a lot to say. But he had received orders from Reborn not to mention it. For Dino, the worst-case scenario was the loss of the Rain Ring and, consequently, Tsunayoshi's loss. But if Squalo was serious, Yamamoto might actually die.

Xanxus listened as his subordinates continued to mock their enemy. He relaxed his fist, his face expressionless as he looked at Squalo. At that moment, he noticed something was different.

Inside the tower.

"For a moment, I thought I'd defeat you." Takeshi still had a relaxed smile, but a corner of it revealed his tense state. The cold was beginning to worsen the numbness he'd received from Squalo's attack.

Against an enemy who could immediately adapt to his technique, the only way to defeat him was to take him by surprise. Developing the Ninth Technique of Shigure Soen Ryu in the midst of this battle was no easy feat. Takeshi began to feel nervous about Squalo's demeanor and began analyzing a viable route to defeat him.

Even if that seemed unreal at the moment. But after a few seconds, he noticed something was wrong with Squalo. At first, he thought it was just the reflection in the water, but he confirmed that Squalo's sword had disappeared.

"Vooooooo! I'm free!" "Xanxus you bastard, your plan didn't work!" It was a more mature but softer voice than Squalo's original tone. Takeshi immediately became on guard and began to think about what had happened. "What the hell?!" "Where the hell am I?!"

The stranger emerged from the small waterfall and Takeshi took a step back. The person was at least 10 cm taller than Squalo, but he noticed he was just as thin. He was wearing pajamas with a white short-sleeved polo shirt and black shorts.

A closer look at his features showed Takeshi immediately that it was Squalo, or what he assumed was a future version of Squalo. Takeshi heard Squalo let out a small sneeze as he rubbed his arms.

"Is this the effect of the 10-year bazooka?"

At that moment, his eyes met Squalo's. A look of understanding crossed his eyes, and the next second, Squalo's face appeared inches from his own. Takeshi was surprised by his speed.

Squalo grabbed him by the chin. The contact allowed him to feel that Squalo's hand was warm, and he even saw that his nails were painted with blue nail polish. Seeing his face Up close, he noticed that his expression made him seem gentler. His eyes weren't as sharp as those of the Squalo he was facing.

His bangs were plastered to his face and chin; perhaps the cold had caused his face to flush as well. Takeshi felt an inexplicable sensation, so he shifted his eyes downward. Something he shouldn't have done, as he found Squalo's pajamas clung to his body and looked almost transparent.

His chest looked slightly plump, his shoulders were narrower, and his waist was thin compared to a man, even someone as young as him. He still had toned muscles. But his skin was so white.

"How strange." Takishi immediately looked up. Squalo's hand moved his head left and right as if searching for something in his head. "Tell me, Takeshi. Is this the first time you've seen me in this form?"

"Y-yes." Takeshi cursed himself for losing his temper. composure and hearing his almost shrill voice.

Squalo was surprised and let out a mocking laugh as he cast a sharp glance in one direction. Fortunately, he let go of Takeshi, who took advantage of the opportunity to take a few steps back.

Takeshi was really nervous. He didn't know why the future Squalo was acting so familiar with him. But from his point of view, it meant the outcome of this battle wouldn't be so bad.

Suddenly, the water around them formed a dome, dividing the space in two, separating Takeshi and Squalo. Takeshi prepared to fight, but then looked away in embarrassment when he saw that Squalo seemed to be changing.

Unfortunately, from time to time his gaze returned to Squalo. The bun came loose, and the shadow of long, ankle-length hair surprised him. The surprise lasted longer when he saw Squalo pull a change of clothes out of nowhere.

"Why is this happening to me?" Takeshi closed his eyes. eyes. Even if it meant he'd be in danger.

A few minutes ago outside.

"Voooooo! I'm free! Xanxus, you bastard, your plan didn't work! What the heck?! Where the hell am I?!"

That voice was enough to tell everyone something was wrong. Tsuna's friends glanced at the Varia out of the corner of their eyes. But they too had gone silent.

When "Squalo" emerged from the water, there was a cry of surprise. Surprisingly, it came from Dino instead of Tsuna. But Tsuna was just as surprised, as were all his friends.

How could they not be? Squalo was completely different.

"Is that the Squalo from 10 years in the future?!" "Why is he here?" Tsunayoshi was exceptionally sharp this time. So much so that he even drew the surprised gazes of Reborn, Hayato, and the Varia. "What?!"

The camera was very professional and zoomed in on Squalo's figure. His clothes were completely soaked and his wet hair stuck to his skin, giving an indescribable image to the viewers.

Tsuna and Basil looked down in embarrassment (Why, he was a man just like them?!), Hayato hurled insults, Ryohei appreciated the muscles of a good fighter, Dino was speechless, and Reborn simply stood there, anticipating the impending chaos.

It had to be admitted that Squalo's figure had feminine undertones. Everyone mentally accepted that. Tsuna stared at the screen only to see seconds later how Squalo "teleported" in front of Takeshi. But his cry of concern was stifled when he saw Squalo grab his friend by the chin.

He immediately looked down, embarrassed, feeling like he was watching something private. But then he remembered that his friend was fighting a dangerous opponent who had no qualms about harming him. But when he forced himself to look, the screen broadcast a live close-up of their faces.

Whoever's controlling the broadcast is definitely having fun! (Wait, that's a remote control in Reborn's hands?! Reborn! What are you trying to accomplish?!)

It looked like they were about to kiss at any moment. Takeshi looked embarrassed and looked down, but then his face turned bright red for a few seconds, and then, alarmed, he looked up.

What he saw. Everyone knows, it's just that no one said it.

"Tell me, Takeshi. Is this the first time you've seen me like this?"

Damn, that sexy voice!

"Takeshi...? Hey! Why do I feel like someone wants to kill me?" Tsuna followed his intuition and nearly lost his temper. Seeing how the Varia had moved away from Xanxus, Tsuna noticed his expression had become terrifying, and he even thought the scars he had had started to spread across his face.

Xanxus was clenching his fist to keep from "exploding." Literally. The Flames of Rage inside him burned and threatened to incinerate everyone around him. As for the reason, it was the image of "his subordinate wasting his time with that scumbag with a bat, instead of blowing his head off and returning to his side with the rain ring."

Takeshi's ring was around his neck, and the baseball player was so nervous he didn't care. If Squalo really wanted to, he could snatch the necklace and end the fight. But Squalo didn't, and that made Xanxus furious! Because he was wasting his time!

Whether he's from the future or not isn't important to Xanxus. That bastard was definitely "close" to Xanxus in the future. His future self was right to lock him up, otherwise that shark would have shamelessly gone off with some scumbag instead of working.

The thought of Squalo leaving never crossed his mind. The swordsman had nowhere to go but his side, Xanxus had made sure of that.

He watched as Squalo finally noticed Takishi, giving him a mocking smile. That alone made Xanxus's vein nearly burst. Besides Gola Mosca and Leviathan, his other subordinates had already moved a few meters away.

Before completely losing his composure, he decided he didn't care and considered leaving. But he remembered that the effect of that technology would only last a short time. As soon as Squalo returned, Xanxus would punish him.

He waited "patiently." Squalo's eyes finally focused on the camera, which made it seem as if he had caught them doing something immoral. Squalo's expression showed disgust, and then with a wave of his hand, a dome enclosed him and Takeshi inside.

Perhaps having bad thoughts about those two "together" inside the water sphere, no one cared; they just looked away guiltily, as if they'd suddenly forgotten this could be some kind of death match.

"Wait! Isn't Takeshi underage?!"

Dino spoke up. Suddenly, everyone had a valid reason to call the Cervello girls and get the transmission reestablished. They couldn't "help but worry" that the two of them would be alone without supervision and might accidentally "kill" each other.
