Once Again

Summary:

Following the war with the outer deities, Klein Moretti finds himself travelling through different time nodes.

He understands that he must make enough changes in history related to himself and his friends who are chosen to be a great old one to ensure that, when he and others ultimately merges with the celestial worthy, Primordial God Almighty and Mother Goddess of Depravity many years hence, his and his companion's humanity and personality will prevail as the dominant identity, accompanied by a formidable and inevitable destiny, rather than succumbing to the memories and divine nature of the previous pillars of the universe

It appears that the persona he adopted in the tarot club will surely manifest as his new reality.

Perhaps this was predestined, and his instincts directed him to take on that guise.

Ultimately, it all comes back to the fool, whose authority can make falsehood into truth.

"A price is always extracted for what the fate bestows, isn't it?"

Chapter 1: Chapter -1

Chapter Text

Klein awakened from a restless slumber, and a dull, persistent pain throbbed in his head.

However, he sensed the rapid healing of his injury, a phenomenon not unfamiliar to him.

'He' quickly started cogitating, to organize his scattered thoughts.

Klein could feel the beyonder characteristics of the curtain seep into his body and digest quickly as he has already acted on the potions key principles before.

Upon reaching sequence 1 of the fool pathway, 'he' swiftly grafted 'his' future anchors towards himself, with the help of spirit world.

The spirit world is the place which meticulously preserves the records and wisdom of the past, present, and future.

After what felt like brief period of introspection, Klein resolved to sift through the layers of 'his' memories.

'He' sought the imprints of celestial worthy, as well as the essence of the original creator.

'He' opened his eyes to survey 'his' surroundings, momentarily disoriented.

'He' found himself in the very room he had inhabited when Zhou Mingrui, had first transmigrated.

Zhou Mingrui had merged with the remnants of Klein Moretti's spirit and memories, effectively transforming into a composite being shaped by both his previous life in the modern world of the 21st century, and his current existence as Klein Moretti in the enigmatic Fifth Epoch.

Klein, with swift resolve, articulated a fervent wish for 'his' surroundings to transform into a pristine and orderly condition, effectively erasing the remnants of his recent suicide attempt.

By using 'his' abilities as miracle invoker, he sought to regain a semblance of normalcy.

As 'he' advanced toward the window, the ethereal glow of the moonlight, cast in a rich crimson hue, flooded into the room, illuminating 'his' path. This ambient light created an otherworldly atmosphere made him think of the existence that resided there.

Klein sensed a concealment enveloping this place, a veil that offered 'him' a degree of comfort amidst 'his' turmoil.

A small smile crept across 'his' lips as 'he' turned 'his' gaze towards the astral realm beyond the window, allowing himself a moment of reflection, "'she' must have known because of the river of fate."

'He' gently whispered a word of gratitude, acknowledging the unseen force that surrounded 'him' and contributed to 'his' current state of being.

'He quietly mumbled 'Praise the Lady'.

With a sense of purpose, 'he' made 'his' way over to the drawer, opening it with a deliberate motion to retrieve his pocket watch.

Klein flipped it open to check the time, noting with a furrowed brow that it was approximately 2:00 AM.

The stillness of the night air reminded 'him' that the world was largely oblivious to 'his' plight.

"Melissa won’t stir for at least another four hours," 'he' calculated, recognizing the opportunity this afforded 'him'.

"If I act swiftly, I might be able to seize the sequence 1 of the Attendents of Mysteries from the crazy Zaratul.

Perhaps it would not be unwise to make 'him' into becoming my sequence two puppet, in retaliation for all the strife 'he' has caused me."

Klein's strategic thinking continued to unfold as 'he' contemplated 'his' next steps. "Following that, I must visit the Hornacis Peak to procure the final sequence 1 of Attendents of Mysteries as well as the Fool's Uniqueness from Antigonus."

'He' was acutely aware that the other deities remained largely unaware of 'his' current circumstances, a fortunate turn of events that 'he' intended to exploit.

"This is my chance, a fleeting opportunity to ascend to sequence zero before the opposing forces become restless and my plans are jeopardized."

With determination igniting within 'him', Klein steeled himself for the work that lay ahead.

'He' quickly recited the luck enhancement ritual as 'he' made a contact with the Sefirah castle.

'He entered the Sefirah castle with 'his' true body as 'he' looked at the familiar gray fog and glowing crimson stars and thought about the tarot club.

He quickly exited the Sefirah castle and then proceeded to conjure an illusory door.

In that moment, 'he' took a deep breath, focused 'his' mind, and prepared himself for to carry out on 'his' next set of plans, 'he' had prepared for now.

'His' anticipation grew at the thought of meeting the Nighthawks later that afternoon, when they arrive here for the investigation regarding the Antigonus' diary."

As 'his' mind wandered, 'he' found himself feeling nostalgic about Captain Dunn—a formidable leader who often forgets.
Old Niel also crossed 'his' thoughts, his first mysticism teacher.

Then there was Leonard—an individual marked by a profound sense of self-importance and delusion, often referring to himself as the protagonist.

Not only that, but he was accompanied by his portable grandpa.

'Should I were a monocle on my right eye while meeting Leonard?' Klein inwardly lampooned.

Notes:

Do you think my writing is a bit too descriptive- essay like?

I have tried adding dialogues instead of narration, which I did with my another work.

Do tell me, which type you all prefer, I will try to write it in that style.
I have never really written a dialogue based story before.

Most of creative writings I have done are for essays and compositions for school and university.
