Redd’s pov

Sigh… another day doing paperwork… boring paperwork. You may think my job is exciting killing people and stuff. But the HC doesn’t let me kill everybody in sight. They just need me to… silence people that don’t shut up or sedate people which are criminals or villains… which the committee rarely tells me to do that

So I’m just stuck here doing paperwork which I think is just really boring (I agree with you… I agree with you… it just feels like homework loll) anywho it feels like my job is just about to get exciting because I heard the drama in HC it looks like there’s a new big mafia inside the city…YAY… more working overtime… but at least there’s no paperwork to be done and I can finally get out of my… chair that is very comfortable(guys I think he meant sofa you know those sofa kinds of chair that one of my really rich relatives have lol…sry back to the story :3)
I just finished a stack of paperwork when I got a phone call from HC. I picked it up and said “hello?” the caller said” this is a call from HC. Scarlet demon(that’s his hero name loll cus he’s red and he’s a Demon :3) we need you to take this assassination case.” “Okay…”“ we came to inform you that you need to assassinate or inquire information about the most wanted villain organisation a mafia boss his villain name is Commander(the name inspiration from "Red’s Successful Taxi Business!" Heh) your mission starts today and if you sedate or inquire information about him, you will get a quarter million dollars from the government” I dropped my phone and quickly disconnected the call ”quarter million dollars?!? I could buy a much bigger house if I wanted to butttt I will miss my roommate (Ash) he gives great company although he insults me sometimes…”
I thought to myself, “I should probably pack up and try to do the mission tomorrow what time is it?” I look at the clock.”OH SHIT ITS LIKE 2 IN THE MORNING RIGHT NOW I GOT TO GO” I packed up my stuff and practically ran out of the building because HC closes up at 3 am. I quietly go back to my tiny apartment careful not to wake anybody up. however, when I opened my door(our door Reddoons OUR door don’t forget you live with Ash :3) Ash was just watching whatever episode of Family Guy the TV was showing with a mug filled with coffee that says” who needs sleep when you’ve got caffeine?” Ash turns around and looks at Redd and ask “ working overtime today or yesterday?” Redd replied “yeahhh kinda” Ash said” oh alright want some coffee?” Redd replied “ dude who drinks coffee three in the morning bro?!?” Ash takes a sip of his coffee “dunno but you never know when you need it plus read the sentence on the mug bro that’s literally me” Redd said “egh last time you drink coffee at three in the morning and you couldn’t sleep for the whole night and you slept at four in the morning and woke up at 5 pm bro. I practically had to drag your ass to the couch because you were snoring so fuckin loud. Anyway, anyways, I have to go to sleep like a normal person.” I dragged my sleepy body into my room and plop down into the bed not even bother changing and just slept.
I woke up drowsy as hell. And went to dress up in my signature red suit(he’s gonna change into his hero uniform when he’s at the hero committee’s HQ) you took the bus to the heroes committee (cus he can’t blow his cover) and went inside and dressed in his hero uniform(which is just Reddoon’s skin’s outerlayer’s clothing with a black mask covering his face and his signature sunglasses)
He went to the first location that the HC gave it was a quiet spot in the bad side of the city

The HC said commander was last scene in one of the alleyways. I walked on a few rooftops for a while careful not to make a sound. When he spotted commander and a few invisible guards around him. His appearance was just like HC said black hair with a few strands of magenta and dark purple and his hair braided into a long stylish ponytail, his face covered by a dark mysterious glitching panel. I waited until the invisible guards walked away. Then quietly jumped down and sneaked behind commander. It seemed like he didn’t notice me. Suddenly he spoke “well well well if it isn’t the Scarlet Demon himself.” my grip loosened on my dagger. “How did he know I was here?” I tried to stab him but he dodged I quickly got into my fighting position and attacked him. But it seems like he has teleportation abilities every time I try to strike him in a blink of an eye he would go to another corner. I was starting to get frustrated.” you’re already frustrated? We’re just getting started!” commander looked at me smirking. Then I just used my ranged attack which is just shooting fire(I will have some more information on Redd’s abilities next chapter:/) commander caught off guard teleported in front of me. And I stabbed him right in the back. He smirked saying “ how can you capture a guy who is not even there?” then his figure started to glitch and contort. Finally fading away. Shit he can clone himself and control his clone that’s a power I’ve never heard of (cus ya don’t read books Redd :3) I sighed and went back to HC to report back the information.

   So on top is the appearance of  Reddoons (I made it myself  loll :3)Okay so Reddoons is a demon general thingy lol

first Ability: A Demon’s strength

This ability gives him the strength of a Demon

His second ability:hell's flames

His second ability gives him the power of fire lol and he's fire resistant so he doesn't burn himself

His Third ability: a Demon's wrath

This ability give them immense strength and makes his sclera turn black and make him really agile, but it's only for a moment until he beats his opponent (a reference to something hehe) and he doesn't use it often cus when the ability wears off he feels an immense dizziness and nausea
His fourth ability: the last resort

As you can see from the name, this ability is used as his last resort aka when he has a fatal injury he can transform into this tiny little Demon blob thingy idk it’s his fannon design but smaller lol the ability gives him agility so he can escape. But when he uses this ability, he will get weakness so he can’t attack anybody

He also has a weapon that is designed to Shapeshift into the weapon he wants it was gifted to him by the HC he can make the weapon Shapeshift when he wears the ruby ring :3

Redd’s pov

I walked into HC and set up a meeting with the other heroes (aka psittacines , Fox and Amethyst Hopper Jupiter and Melon ( I can’t think of any names for him loll) and Apollo)

As I walked into the meeting room I saw everyone at their spots except amethyst (you know who he is 😏 cunning silly smart and maybeeee is gay for someone starting with a C hehe)

As I sat down and gathered the information I wrote down.Fox was yawning and said” so what did you gather us for? Another boring meeting?” I said” no I’m here to talk about the new most wanted villain/mafia” Fox’s ears perked up(he has fox ears cus he’s a furryyyyy!!!! you guys already know who he is loll) saying “what?”
psittacines and Melon stopped their conversation. I said “I have info on Commander. You see last night I was patrolling on where commander was last seen and I saw him and fought with him and I have some Intel on his abilities.
psittacines you know all the documents of all the citizens right?”

psittacines replied with” yeah I read all of them” I said” well could you per chance see if anyone has a cloning ability that makes the clone mimic their personality exactly the same I suspect commander has that ability, but I don’t know if he has more than one just like half of the heroes”psittacines said “hmm that does sound interesting. I’ll let you know if I find anything.”

I said “ okay I hope you find information about commander no we need to talk about how to find the villains lair or how to ambush the villains.”

We talked for at least one hour and agreed that one of us would patrol the place where I first saw commander and we would not intervene unless he was hurting another civilian. We would just wait for him to go back to his lair we would quietly follow him and if we found his lair we would come back and make a plan to ambush them.

After the meeting (it’s night in the world rn)

Ugh… they made me do the patrol… because they’re scared of the Almighty commander or smth and maybe because I defeated his clone once…
Yeah, this is going to end badly (oof I hope he doesn’t get traumatised… hey where’s the book of angst that I made…)

I waited for an hour and there was nothing suspicious. I was about to go back to HC when I just noticed something… COMMANDER WITH A GIRL?!? the girl seemed young about 20 years old she had strawberry blonde hair and pink and orange glasses. I couldn’t see her face because it was covered with a mask. She had a pair of moth wings and antennas(idk what they are called the things on the moth’s head lol) she looked kind of cheerful excited for …something? Didn’t she know the commander is one of the infamous villains in the city?

Wait, I’m supposed to save her aren’t I…sigh…here we go again

This time I jumped in front of the two and stopped them(sighhhhhh you never learned to you Redd) and said “ whatever you’re doing with that girl I need you to stop” commander looked at me like I just stabbed his mother and said” dude I am not letting you ruin my date” D-date!?!this guy gets girls!?! I thought to myself. Then suddenly he raises his hand and whispers “ forget this all happen and blackout” my mind suddenly turns fuzzy and I blackout(dude that’s why he’s called commander bro he can command you to do things like TCFSV’s siren loll)

I woke up in the infirmary of HC. My head was still spinning and foggy I forgot about yesterday, but I can still piece a few pieces together. I-I was with Commander. Wait-what?!? when I was just wondering about what happened last night psittacines walked in” and said oh my God, Scarlett Demon, are you okay?!?last night, I found you unconscious in the spot where you’re supposed to patrol!” I said” I-I think I am okay right now but I don’t recall anything from last night except a few bits and pieces…”

Ash’s pov

Three months ago(about when the story was told lol)

I was walking to my apartment in my villain outfit when a girl who was about 21 years old she looked at me with determined eyes and said “I want to become a villain”
I scoffed and said “ what so you just think you can become a villain just by asking the leader?Fine then what are your qualifications?”
The girl looked surprised and said “ well I’m a moth hybrid so I have moth wings and I can make sleeping powder and make everyone sleep around me and when they’re sleeping, I can control their dreams.”
I thought to myself “ wow this girl really has some good powers(are you just complimenting her because you know that she’s going to be your gf 😏)”
I said,” alright, you can join the villains but do you know how to fight?”
The girl said “uhhh I know how to fight ghosts”
“ Okay then what is your name?”
“Squiddo!” she said that a cheerful tone

Couple months later (when Redd was patrolling the poor side of the city)

Omg…

I can’t believe she had the guts to ask me out on a date!?! I looked around in my closet contemplating on which shirt I should wear. Finally found a nice tuxedo with a buttoned up shirt. It’s cold outside because it’s winter so I threw on a jacket. And drove the nicest car I had(he has a couple cars cus he’s richhhh) hoping to impress her.
When I came to the spot where she said we would meet up. I immediately blushed seeing her in a beautiful floral orange cardigan under it was a yellow sundress she had a pink scarf over her neck. She looked beautiful as ever and when she saw me, she ran up to me and gave me a hug she said” you look so good in that tuxedo Honey(she calls him that hehe)
As we walked through the alleyway to the restaurant. A certain somebody jumped down from the roof and stopped us(heh Redd YOU IDIOT YOU DONT JUMP DOWN ROOFS BRO) and of course I said “ why it isn’t Scarlett Demon himself. Trying to ruin our date huh?” when he heard the word date, he looked shocked I sighed and raised my hand to use my power. I whispered in his ear” forget all of this happened and black out” he leaned against the wall for support refusing to blackout but I told Squiddo to use her sleeping powder on him she used it and he blacked out
And then we just left him there (rude 🫤)
Then we had a wonderful day and we kissed (it’s straightforward cus I don’t wanna do a kissing with the tongue scene lol)

Redd’s pov
I was discharged from my room I walked out in my hero uniform, but because I couldn’t patrol or anything cus I was just unconscious a few hours ago I didn’t have anything to do. I wanted to go back to my house but I remembered that I left my normal clothes at home and I couldn’t just walk in my house without Ash seeing me in my hero uniform.

Soooo…

I jumped on top of a roof and laid there until it was midnight and I could see the stars.
That is until ???? jumped behind me and tried to ambush me…

???’s pov
I just walked out of jester’s casino I walked into the alleyway the vigilante base was in when I saw the hero Scarlet Demon just sitting on a roof stargazing I was curious so I quietly jumped on top of the roof and stared at him for a few seconds before approaching him and saying” well well well if it isn’t Mr. Assassin over here what you doing? Stargazing on top of somebody’s roof do you know all the villains are here at night?” he looked at me unbothered” well if it isn’t Mrs. Vigilante here what are you even going to do K-kill me?” he said in a mocking tone.

I looked offended and wanted to take out my daggers, but he said “ don’t you? Dare you know you can’t fight me.” And as always, I did a stupid decision I asked “can I say it just once?” he was already pulling out his Shapeshifting weapon(that I don’t know how to describe) and said” only if you wish to suffer” I immediately pulled out my dagger and started the fight(and Redd is about to end it loll) and said” get over here!!” Redd’s Shapeshifting weapon immediately turned into a giant sword and swung at me I dodged and I jumped backwards to dodge his blow

He came at me at full force swinging his sword at me, but I did a front flip and stabbed him in the arm. He looked at me with a face full of annoyance and anger closed his eyes and open his eyes and his sclera began turning black he immediately ran at me faster than I anticipated and tackled me to the ground
He said” see? This is why you never try to fight with a hero who is better at fighting than you.” then he knocked me out and I felt my body getting picked up by him and I slowly drifted into unconsciousness.

Jester's pov
I was doing paperwork when my phone rang and i saw it was Hare because she's my little sister i picked it up
The dialog(cus im too lazy to write who said what)

Hare:Heyyyy haiii.i love you soo much...Can i have $1m?

jester:Wha- why!?!

Hare:Ohhhh You know for...an escape room?

Jester:You're joking right?WHAT KIND OF ESCAPE ROOM COSTS $1M!?!

Hare:...... prison?

Jester:...how!?!

Hare:you knoww maybe i challenged Scarlet demon into a duel?

Jester: sigh* ill be there in 5
Hare:BUT the HC wont let me out cus they know I'm related to you ughhhh

Jester: alright I'm gonna go break you out i just need to do some black mailing...

Hare:oooo are you gonna black
mail amethyst!i mean you did kidnap Melon aka his brother!

Jester:yeahh he still scared af in my basement so sure ill make amethyst help me in breaking you out! I also have amethyst's phone number.alr bye hare
Hare: byeee also amethyst seems to be your type heh...

Beep beep beep(idk he hung up)

Hare:oh dang did he get flustered?

I was stunned did like amethy- I-I mean fuck my do i have this feeling in my stomach why am i blushing? Do i really like him(then french kiss him WITH THE TONGUE 👅👅👅 sry sry WITH YOUR DIH *gets slapped in the face*)
I typed his phone number and called him (dw he is on a burner phone so he wont get tracked)

Amethyst:hello?

Jester:hello, this is Jester am I’m here black mail you we have your brother here

Amethyst:W-what?! M-my brother?!?Sothat’s why I haven’t seen him since a week ago

Jester:And if you don’t help me I’ll use this leverage against you

Amethyst:H-help you in what.I DON’T KNOW YOU!

Jester:… well let’s meet tonight (AND KISS-)

Amethyst:o-okay but you know I’m not good at fighting right?

Jester:but you are the chief of the prison guards right?

Amethyst:yes but what do you want!?!

Jester:(GIVE ME A KISS)uhm sooo hare is in jail cus of her reckless act of fighting scarlet demon and the HC won’t let them out so I need you to help me break her out(and maybe take me out on a date)

Amethyst:O-okay then you’ll free my brother?

Jester: maybeeee no promises (dude is pulling a uu!booster )

Amethyst:then I won’t help you if you won’t free him

Jester:then I’ll kill him!

Amethyst:alright alright fine I’ll help you in your stupid jail break

Jester:okay

Then amethyst hangs up

I walk over to the basement of my casino (I know I know he has a casino) and opened the door there was melon tied up in a chair trying to escape “well well well melon is it? What a stupid name… well I have you as leverage so imma use you the best I can” I walk over and squatted down next to him and whispered to him “well you see I need a lil’ help getting my sister out of jail so amethyst is willing to help me in exchange for me not killing you and amethyst is my type so I will need you to tell me about amethyst “ melon refused to speak “hm? Not a talker are ya? Then you won’t mind me kidnapping amethyst right?” Melon looked at me horrified and he said “H-his citizen name i-is Branzy… he likes to do redstone” I smiled at him and said “good…”

Amethyst's pov
I go to the place where Jester said we would meet at.when i was at the address i met Jester. "A-are you jester?" He smirked and said "well hello Branzy" w-what?!? He knew my name?!?
Amethyst:how did you know my name?
Jester:secret
Amethyst:okay then... well what is the plan?
Jester: well you distract the heroes and i will go break Hare out
Amethyst:okay
Jester:sounds good?
Amethyst:yeah alright
As they get to the prison they are met with fox sleeping on the job(bruhhh silly vi- I-I mean foxxxx😅)
Amethyst said "dang never knew fox liked sleeping that much im gonna tell his that he's slacking off later"
Jester said "less talking more distracting"
Amethyst"oh alright alright "
Amethyst walked over to fox "ahem hello FOX" he said with a displeased face i see you sleeping on the job huh?"
immediately shot up and said "H-heyyy amethystttt nahhh i wasn't sleepingggg "
Amethyst gave Jester a thumbs up and Jester went to find Hare
Jester's pov
I ran to find Hare's cell and i found her trying to stick a screwdriver into the lock and jam it open i find it amusing to see my lil' sis trying so hard to break out but the funny thing is that the locks they use for super villains and vigilantes is made from heat frost and blast resistant steel plus the thing you need a fuckin saw to break out.
Hare saw me and said "hey hey clo-i i mean Jester GET ME OUTTTT !!!" I shushed her and lucky for me i have the power of blood manipulation and regeneration so i can cut myself and shape the blood to a key shape and unlock the cell
As expected it opened and Hare can finally slip out
Hare:Yipiee finally fresh airrr
Jester:we're not even outside bro-
Hare:idc
As we quietly got out i signed "thank you" to amethyst and left

Redd’s pov

Argh… fuck I got a black eye on trying to do this mission it’s not gonna heal for about three days but I really need to go back to my apartment. I hope Ash doesn’t see this and get worried that would be hard to explain this black eye tho. I quietly sneak back into the apartment because it’s already 3 am and I don’t wanna wake up Ash. However, when I open the door I saw Ash still chilling on the couch with another figure next to him he looks back at me and says “Hey Redd! Wanna watch Netflix with us?” I replied with “ who’s next to you?”

Ash looked cheerful for once and said “oh! That’s my girlfriend! Meet Squiddo!” W-what? He has a girlfriend?!? Dang I’m older than him, but I’m still single… ugh. “ She’s gonna be here for half of the time when you come back. Wait… what happened to your eye? How the hell did you get a blackeye from an office job?” Oh um shit how am I supposed to explain this? Tell him that I got assaulted from my manager? “Uh-um I got punched in the eye ?” Ash said” welp sucks to suck. That’s the bad side of living in the poor side of the city”

The girl turned around and waved at me “Oh! Hello! Are you the roommate who Ash keeps talking about? Redd was it?” I replied back “oh hello! Squiddo nice to meet you!”

I walked up to Ash and said " so... you really like her? Whens the wedding?" I knew if he invites a girl to our apartment then he really likes the girl. he isn't really interested in dating so i'm just being a good roommate.

Lets see...

Jester wants to do the meeting at his casino...egh this place gives me and Moth the chills.

We walked in half expecting Jetser to jump up in his casino that designed like a maze when we are met with Melon one of the heroes tied up in front of us

Melon:H-heyyyy commanderrrrr what nice weatherrrr it is heh

Commander:Bro its raining

Melon:Y-yeah just don't question it

Commander:O-okay?

Moth:H-hey commander?isn't this the guy you fought with Scarlet demon? The one that Scarlet demon saved? And you got burnt cus of the fight?

Commander:S-shut up

Then jester walked in "welcome!(FOLKS READY FOR SUM GIGGLES sry sry just being silly like SHADOW MILK COOKIE-)"

Jester:as you see i have leverag-i-i mean Melon as blackmail to the HC"

Commander:did you just call him a leverage?

Jester:... ANYWHO i have made on of the heroes betray you see Melon is also called Parker which i found out by his little notebook he keeps in his pocket and the betrayer is also his brother! Villains and Vigilantes welcome the betrayer AMETHYST!

Commander:great the weakest guy in the Hc is now a villain. So... is he gonna be the mole for us? And whats his villain name?

Jester:uhhh hes purple so violet i guess? What do you think Branzy?

Amethyst:uhhh sure! As long as you keep my brother alive im fine with anything.

Then branzy looked at Clown with a loving look

Squiddo whispers to me :uhhh
you sure Clown and Branzy
aren't dating?

Sigh... why did i agree to this? Oh yeah Ash wanted to get a bigger house but i dont have "enough" money to move so... we have a 2 new roommates
I mean at least i got a bigger room? Egh whatever makes Ash happy ig.

Moving day arrives and i go to meet our 2 new roommates i walk up to them and i see a brown haired male with a blonde haired male but i cant see his face clearly i walk up closer... wait... Z-ZAM!?! TF IS HE DOING HERE?!? Zam looks at me and said "SCARLET- i-i mean Redd!! Heh" then he winked at me. I walked up to him and draged him out the door and whispered to him
redd:what are you DOING HERE APOLLO!?! YOUR GOING TO BLOW OUR COVER!?!

Zam: woah woah woah chill dude im your new roommate bro didnt you discuss this with your other roommate cus i didnt know you would be here

Redd: istg Ash didnt give me details about our new roommates so you BETTER NOT BLOW OUR COVER

Zam: oki :3

Ash's pov

I tried to look around the boxes of stuff and see if i can find kyle then i saw him and ran up to him
Ash: Ayeee kyleeeee

Kyle: ayeee Ashhhh

Ash whispering : hey Void nice to see you again

Kyle: hey Commander nice to see you too

Ash : now we can use our new house as our base of operation cus Redd is always out on work trips

(Flashback to the day beforeee)
Commander's pov
I walked into the villain's hq meeting room and i saw Jester, shadow, voidhole and others

Commander:so...what are we planning?

Jester: well... we already made bran bran betray so why not make our plan to make one of the top heroes to betray?

Commander:hmm then who do you recommend making betray

Jester:i think you already know... let's get the "weakest link" first...

Commander: yeah Apollo can be easily manipulated

ANYWHO

Commander:WELCOME THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE VILLAINS SOCIETY VOID!(YOU GO KYLE-I-I MEAN VOIDDDD heh)

Voidhole:hey that my name!

Commander: well i don't care!
