Seungkwan watched Bookkeu play with Minnie on the carpet. He heard the door bell ring and went to open it.
"Minho." He greeted.
"You finally found some time to hang out." He took off his shoes and was startled by the little girl on the floor. "Who is that?"
"A niece that needs to be a secret." He answered and went to the kitchen. "Do you need anything?"
"Just water." He answered.
"We have_" his phone rang. It was Scoups. "Hello."
"Jeonghan won't be coming today. Can you help Minnie pack a bag, she will be staying with me these two weeks because Jeonghan has to go for the bootcamp and you are leaving for the week."
"Oh okay. I completely forgot." He looked over at Minnie. "Ain't you also busy?"
"Hyung is here and he will be working from home." He informed him.
"Is Jeonghan hyung sick?" He asked which got Minnie to look up at him with worry in her eyes.
"No, he's just tired. I will pass by to come pick her up." He paused. "In thirty minutes from now."
"See you then." He hung up.
"Is Oppa sick?" Minnie stood up to ask then noticed Lee Know. "Hello." She bowed then looked at him closely. "Oh, oh, oh!" She squeaked loudly.
Seungkwan covered his left ear. "This child will cause me early deafness."
"Lee Know Oppa. Stray kids Lee Know Oppa!" She jumped up and down.
"Well she knows me." Lee know smiled awkwardly.
"Everyone knows you. I know, you know, Lee Know!" She clapped. "Oppa, he's Stray Kids Lee Know."
"I know." Seungkwan rolled his eyes. "I sometimes forget she's well acknowledged with the Kpop industry."
"Are you not supposed to be on tour?" Minnie asked.
"We are but we came back to rest for a week before we start again. I wasn't busy today and so was your uncle so I came to see him."
"And why ain't you spending your time with Han Oppa?" Minnie asked.
"Oh everyone knows." Seungkwan smirked.
"Uhmmm." He looked at Seungkwan for help.
"Won't he be mad you are spending your time with my Oppa." She pouted. "You can't make Han Oppa sad." She glared at him.
"Okay." Seungkwan finally chose that time to step in. "Your guardian is coming to pick you up. You will be staying with him for the next two weeks."
"What of Jeonghan Oppa?" Minnie asked as she watched Lee Know play with the dog.
"Bootcamp so he will be away for two weeks." Seungkwan explained.
"But he's not sick?" Minnie asked.
"No, he's just tired." He answered. "Pack a suitcase and anything you need."
"Oh okay." She ran to her room.
"Can I ask?" Lee Know looked at him.
"No." He shook his head. "But you can obviously guess."
"Seventeen loves to play on thin ice." Lee Know joked.
"So do you and yet no one still believes you." Seungkwan retorted.
"That's why I avoid kissing him on the cheek or anywhere in public. Apparently when I just stare at him the fans go wild."
"That's crazy. If Carats were like Stays we would have never survived in this industry."
"They have their days so do your fans if I remember correctly." He reminded him of the Joshua scandal.
"Jun hyung kissed a girl in a series they were quite supportive of it." Seungkwan went to the kitchen to pull out some food from the fridge.
"That was fiction. It doesn't count." Lee Know stood up to watch him. "What are you doing?"
"Cooking as you can see." He pointed out the obvious.
Lee Know snorted and gently pushed him away from the stove where he set a pan on a heated plate. "If I remember correctly you can't cook."
"I most definitely can. I can boil water."
"He burnt the water this morning." Minnie yelled from the bedroom.
"Kid if you don't shut up." Seungkwan followed her to her bedroom leaving Lee know by himself.
"Where are the spices and the oil?" Lee Know asked just as the door opened.
"I hope she is ready." Scoups entered but came to an immediate stop when he saw Lee Know. "Stray kid."
"Hello Hyung." Lee know bowed.
"Oppa." Minnie came running from the bedroom to give him a hug. "Lee Know oppa is here. He's here." She excitedly said.
"I see that." Scoups raised an eyebrow in question when Seungkwan peeked from Minnie's room.
"He's visting and you know we are good friends." Seungkwan answered. "Plus he can keep a secret."
"If you want I can sign an NDA before I leave." Lee Know suggested.
"No it's fine. If Seungkwan trusts you so do I."
"Plus if he snitches I can just tell the world he too married Han in America."
"But Oppa married Jeonghan Oppa in jeju that's not the same." Minnie looked between them.
"This kid will be the death of me." Scoups exasperatedly sighed.
"Why are you here early? You said thirty minutes." Seungkwan asked.
"I have to stop by the company before heading home. Jeonghan only gave me thirty minutes to be here and back." Scoups quivered recalling the threat his husband gave him.
"She's almost done packing_" the door opened and Vernon strode in and went straight to Seungkwan and engulfed him into a kiss. Seungkwan had to push him away. "We have an audience." He pointed at Lee Know.
"Oh hello." Vernon bowed and Lee Know bowed back.
"Is there a reason you're here?" Scoups asked.
"No, not really." He shook his head staring down at his boyfriend.
Seungkwan remembered texting him Lee Know was there when he went to help Minnie pack up but he chose not to point it out.
"Oppa Lee Know of Stray Kids." Minnie came out with her packed bag and strolling a suitcase.
"I see that." Vernon nodded nonchalantly.
"See you later." Scoups held out her hand for Minnie but she ran to Lee Know.
"May I get an autograph?" She gave him a pen and notebook.
"Yeah of course." He looked at it and it had the title autographs of my favorite people. He opened the book and found it was empty.
"Did she just make up a book for him to sign." Seungkwan scowled at her.
She stuck out her tongue at him and smiled back at Lee Know. "And may I take a photo with you." She pulled out her Polaroid camera from her bag.
"I swear to_" Seungkwan charged towards her but Vernon pulled him in his arms and made him stay there.
Lee Know signed and they then took a photo together. "I like her. She's like a cat."
"She likes you too." Minnie said. "I will get your number from Oppa and then you can send me photos of Soonie, Doongie, Dori."
"Did I say I like her, no, I love her." Lee Know grinned.
"Okay your main Oppa is waiting for you." Scoups pulled her away.
"Call me. I love Stray Kids too." Minnie waved at them as they left.
"No loyalty with these Carats I see." Seungkwan shook his head.
"Don't worry we keep Stays safe as well. She will be alright with us." Lee Know teased him.
Seungkwan glared at him.
"Want to order food?" Vernon asked.
"He's cooking." He pointed to the one in the kitchen.
"You're letting your guest cook?" He asked.
Lee Know smiled. "Do you prefer he cooks?"
"No the kitchen is all yours." Vernon said.
"I cook for Han and the members when they visit our place all the time so this isn't new to me."
Vernon put a movie on and they began to watch and chat while Lee Know made lunch. And when he was done the other two boys set the table and they sat down to eat.
"How does your relationship work? You live together now right?" Seungkwan asked.
"Our division insisted we don't. Saying it would spark more crazy fans on us but it was either that or neither of us were signing the contract. It was the only exception we had. Plus our members backed us up on it. The counter argument was even if we lived together or just us existing in the same space as long as we don't announce we are official there is always going to be a doubt that we are just friends." Lee Know explained. "I could literally tell him on national television I loved him and half of our fans who believe I am not with him would still take the defense. Unlike you who always show how much you love each other or affectionate, you get the most needed support. Our stays are not that welcoming because we are still basically new to them."
"But your support is gradual than most." Vernon said.
"Hansol the comments are brutal. You've never been on the side where our relationship has taken the hits for the group that they had to separate us in public occasions." Seungkwan told him.
"Those times were indeed brutal but we got passed it. Look at us now sharing the same space." Lee Know forced a smile.
"It must have been hard. I could never imagine having to not look at him or hold his hand when I need to just to feel his presence even with a thousand watching us." He stared at him.
"You do look at him a lot. It's almost as much as I look at my Han." He said.
"Like the world stood still." Both Lee Know and Vernon simultaneously said.
Lee Knows' phone rung and he answered. "Hello."
"Hyung I am home. Where are you?" Han asked.
"Still at Seungkwan." He looked at them.
"I am hungry and there is no food. Should I make cereal?" Han pouted.
"No last time you did my kitchen almost burnt to the ground." Lee Know stood. "I am on my way."
"Okay. I will eat an apple for now."
"Wash it before you do. Do you know how to?"
"I know how to wash an apple am not that stupid."
"I know that baby. Bye." He cut the call.
"I guess your other half needs you." Seungkwan said.
Lee know looked at the plates. "I should wash these before I go."
"No we will. We made you make lunch for us now someone who really depends on you to feed them needs you. Go we will clean up here." Seungkwan told me. "I will text you again to ask when we are both free to chat."
"Of course." Lee Know said.
"And I will get your number from him and we will chat."
"Stop stealing my friends." Seungkwan hit him on his shoulder.
"Then stop having very likeable friends." Vernon kissed the hand that hit him.
After washing the dishes, Vernon cuddled him up on the couch and spent the day watching a movie.
