“Seriously, Doctor, where are you taking me?”
Peri blindly groped at the world as he led her throughout the maze of their ship. Already she’d bumped into two walls and a chair. They turned, humidity unleashing a sucker-punch. A sauna? A broad-leaf plant grazed her leg, her feet cushioned by grass.
“You said you wanted a herbarium.” He restored her sight. “I’ve built you one.”
Her mouth dropped. “You’re kidding. This isn’t a herbarium, this is an entire biome!” She ran like a child towards a copse of flowers. The Doctor smiled. It was truly the little things in life.
