She freezes, paling, her azure eyes growing wide with horror.
Eve gazes downward, her expression gentle, beautiful even, contrasted by her grotesque form covered in masses of mammary flesh, and her unnaturally distended pregnant abdomen, she caresses lovingly.
An inhuman wail erupts within Eve, reverberating throughout every cell of Aya's being, shaking her to her core.
Already, the Ultimate Being is aware of the outside - AWARE of her.
Aya's heart shatters; no longer able to deny the cruel reality of her mitochondria.
