Chapter 1: Matchmaker Mis-match

Chapter Text

Characters: Sammy + TayNew, MilkLove, JuniorMark, ViewMim & ChokunAston.

Plot: In a luxurious household, five privileged yet romantically clueless siblings — Tay, Milk, Junior, View, and Aston — are the pride and headache of their wealthy parents. Despite their perfect resumes, none of them has ever been in a relationship. Fearing their dynasty will die out without heirs, the parents hire Sammy, a charismatic professional matchmaker, to set them up with “suitable” husbands and wives. But Sammy has a knack for seeing beyond appearances — and while she sets out to fulfill the parents’ request, she accidentally (or maybe fatefully) discovers that each sibling’s true match is someone of the same gender. Meanwhile, Sammy herself juggles her career struggles, her own string of chaotic blind dates, and the creeping realization that her heart may also not fit the “traditional” mold her clients’ demand. While orchestrating these “mistakes,” Sammy also embarks on her own comic love adventures — speed-dating, setups from her meddling best friend, and run-ins with her ex. In the end, she begins to accept that maybe her own love story could surprise her just as much as her clients’.

Episode 1: Introduction to the family & Sammy.

Sammy - a sharp-tongued yet warm-hearted professional matchmaker who prides herself on always finding the “perfect” match. Beneath her confident exterior, she hides her own insecurities about love, making her just as lost in romance as her clients.

Eldest Sibling - Tay (perfectionist) Always groomed to be the heir. Stoic and resistant to the idea of matchmaking. Ends up falling for a charming male business rival whom Sammy introduces just to “test” his stubbornness.

Second Sibling - Milk (confident but secretly lonely) Fashion-forward, witty, everyone’s favorite at parties but surprisingly inexperienced in love. She develops feelings for the female personal yoga instructor Sammy hires to “get her in shape for her first date.”

Middle Sibling - Junior (dreamer) Creative, quirky, and often underestimated. While Sammy tries to set him up with a model, he clicks instead with the male photographer behind the camera.

Fourth Sibling - View (reserved and thoughtful) Bookish, observant, and skeptical about romance. Slowly opens up to a female barista Sammy introduces by accident when their “intended date” cancels.

Youngest Sibling - Aston (rebel) Impulsive, playful, and the family troublemaker. Falls head-over-heels for a male musician he meets at one of Sammy’s trial setups.

Episode 2 - 6

Tay x New (Stoic Heir x Playful Business Rival) New is a confident, slightly arrogant business competitor whom Sammy introduces to “challenge” Tay. Their rivalry escalates into flirtation, then romance. Arc: From cold professionalism to heated chemistry, Tay learns to balance responsibility with vulnerability.

Episode 2 - The Test: Sammy sets up New as Tay’s “mock date,” claiming it’s just practice to ease him into the idea of romance. Tay is cocky, convinced he’ll breeze through without a single spark of attraction, while New finds amusement in poking at Tay’s arrogance. Their playful jabs and competitive one-liners, however, stir up a surprising electricity neither of them wants to admit.

Episode 3 - Clash of Egos: Fate throws them together again at a high-stakes business pitch, where they’re suddenly rivals. Each man tries to outwit and outshine the other in front of the board, turning the presentation into a duel of charisma and wit. Beneath the sharp words and smug smiles, there’s a magnetic pull—competition fueling an attraction neither can ignore.

Episode 4 - Cracks in the Armor: A looming deadline forces Tay and New into a late-night work session. Stripped of their polished exteriors, they reveal vulnerabilities—Tay’s fear of disappointing his family, New’s struggle to prove himself beyond his reputation. Between shared coffee, tired laughter, and a slip of sincerity, the banter softens into something dangerously close to intimacy.

Episode 5 - The Slip: At a business dinner with his parents, Tay finds himself cornered by his parents’ cutting expectations, his confidence faltering. New unexpectedly steps in, shielding him with quick wit and unshakable support, saving Tay from humiliation. Shaken by the gesture, Tay’s defenses collapse, and in a quiet moment away from prying eyes, vulnerability gives way to a charged kiss.

Episode 6 - From Rivals to Partners: The aftermath of the kiss leaves both men rattled, unsure whether to retreat or move forward. But when a new project forces them to choose between competing or collaborating, Tay makes the bold confession: he doesn’t want to win against New, he wants to win with him. The rivalry melts into partnership, as they finally accept that love—not victory—is what binds them strongest.

Side Story: Sammy goes on a blind date fixed by one of her friend. Her date turns out to be a guy who just wants to get marry & have different goals in life with her.

Episode 7 - 11

Milk x Love (Fashion Queen x Yoga instructor) Love is a bold, supportive yoga instructor tasked with “prepping” Milk for her first official matchmaking date. Instead their private sessions become a safe space where Milk reveals her insecurities. Arc: Milk goes from dazzling on the outside but lonely inside, to finding someone who loves her beyond appearances.

Episode 7 - First Session: Sammy introduces Love as a “dating coach” meant to help polish Milk’s charm before meeting real suitors. Milk, ever the glamorous and confident one, playfully flirts with Love as if the sessions are just another game. But Love isn’t swayed—she sees through the glittery mask and calls Milk out on her deflections, planting the first seed of real tension.

Episode 8 - Walls Up: During another training session, Love pushes harder, pointing out that Milk’s confidence feels rehearsed rather than real. Milk bristles, hiding behind sarcasm and playful teasing, but Love’s steady gaze unsettles her. For the first time, Milk feels exposed, realizing someone is peeling away the walls she has built around her loneliness.

Episode 9 - Crossing Lines: Sammy insists Milk and Love go out for “practice,” but the night spirals when Milk’s usual social crowd mocks her dependence on Sammy. Flustered, Milk nearly breaks down until Love steps in, grounding her with genuine care and refusing to let her retreat into her practiced mask. In that quiet comfort, Milk sees Love’s sincerity and feels her heart tug in a way she can’t brush off.

Episode 10 - The Fear: As her attraction to Love grows, Milk panics—what would her parents and the public say if she fell for her female instructor instead of the ideal “prince” suitor? She distances herself, arriving late to sessions and hiding behind fake dates to prove she’s still “playing the game.” Love notices the retreat but chooses patience, waiting for Milk to face her truth.

Episode 11 - Confession at the Studio: Frustrated but unwilling to lose her, Love confronts Milk during a yoga session, pushing her to stop hiding. Milk breaks down, confessing that no one—not her family, not her admirers—has ever truly seen her the way Love does. In the raw vulnerability of that moment, they choose each other, sealing it not with glamour or games, but with honesty and love.

Side Story: Sammy got into a slight car accident with a hot guy and went on a date with him. Only to find out that the guy is already married.

Episode 12 - 16

Junior x Mark (Dream x Photographer) Mark is a quiet, perceptive photographer originally hired to shoot Junior’s staged date with a model. He ends up seeing Junior for who he truly is. Arc: Junior finds someone who validates his creative spirit, turning his underestimated “dreams” into shared ambition.

Episode 12 - Behind the Lens: Sammy arranges for Junior to meet a glamorous model, thinking it will spark a romance. But while the model poses, Junior finds himself more intrigued by Mark, the witty photographer orchestrating the shoot from behind the camera. Their casual banter turns into real conversation, and Junior feels an instant connection with someone who notices his curiosity instead of dismissing him.

Episode 13 - Creative Spark: Junior tags along for another photo shoot, and Mark playfully hands him a camera, encouraging him to try capturing moments. To Junior’s surprise, his shots impress Mark, who praises his natural eye for detail. For the first time, Junior feels seen as more than the “spoiled middle child,” igniting both his artistic curiosity and his bond with Mark.

Episode 14 - Doubt: Encouraged by Mark, Junior begins experimenting with his creative side, but when his family casually belittles his efforts as a “hobby,” his confidence crumbles. Insecurity makes him lash out at Mark, accusing him of offering false encouragement. Hurt but understanding, Mark gives Junior space, even though it clearly pains them both.

Episode 15 - Proof: Unwilling to let Junior give up, Mark secretly gathers Junior’s best photos and arranges a small private showcase with help from Sammy. When Junior discovers it, he’s stunned to see genuine admiration from strangers, realizing Mark wasn’t just flattering him. The gesture proves Mark’s faith in him, softening the walls Junior had built around his heart.

Episode 16 - Picture Perfect: The showcase grows into a full gallery event, with Junior’s siblings in attendance. Nervous at first, Junior draws courage from Mark’s unwavering support, finally embracing his passion and his own worth. In a bold moment, he kisses Mark in front of everyone, choosing both his art and his love, no longer afraid of being underestimated.

Side Story: Sammy went to her own speed-dating event that her company organised, only to end up frustrated by all the men who are intimidated when they found out that she is the owner of the company that organise the event.

Episode 17 - 21

View x Min (Bookworm x Barista) Min is the easygoing coffee shop owner Sammy stumbles upon when a date cancels. She introduces View to warmth, laughter, and slow romance. Arc: View slowly breaks out of her shell, learning that romance doesn’t need to be dramatic - it can be gentle and steady.

Episode 17 - The Wrong Date: When Sammy’s carefully arranged date cancels last minute, she hastily sends View to meet someone else at a café—only for a mix-up to introduce her to Min instead. What should have been an awkward encounter turns unexpectedly comfortable, as Min’s grounded nature disarms View’s guarded elegance. By the end of the coffee, View feels a strange calm she hasn’t experienced before.

Episode 18 - Small Talk, Big Feelings: What starts as casual coffee chats quickly grows into deeper exchanges—about books, favorite songs, and the little joys that make life meaningful. For the first time, View isn’t expected to perform or impress; Min listens, genuinely curious about her, not her status. Slowly, View begins to open up, surprised at how much she craves these quiet moments.

Episode 19 - Doubt in the Quiet: As her feelings deepen, View starts to fear that Min—sweet, thoughtful, and ordinary—would never fit into the polished, high-expectation world of her family. Doubt gnaws at her, and she begins pulling away, masking her emotions with polite distance. Min senses the change but refuses to push, giving View space even as her own heart aches.

Episode 20 - The Gesture: Instead of grand romance, Min chooses a quiet act of sincerity—recreating one of their book conversations by setting up a small reading nook at the café with View’s favorite novel waiting for her. It’s simple, genuine, and perfectly tailored to who View really is beneath the layers of family expectations. The gesture reminds View that love doesn’t need to be extravagant to be real.

Episode 21 - Bloom: Finally ready to confront her fears, View tells Min she doesn’t want the flashy, dramatic romance her family imagines for her. What she longs for is Min’s steady, grounding love—the kind that makes her feel safe and seen. In a small but powerful act of courage, she takes Min’s hand in public for the first time, silently declaring their love without apology.

Side Story: Sammy's mom fixed her a date with one of her friends' son. During the date, the guy tried his hardest to be as straight as possible but keep checking different men out in the restaurant. The guy suggested for them to be in a lavender marriage.

Episode 22 - 26

Aston x Chokun (Rebel x Musician) Chokun is a charismatic underground musician who shakes up Aston’s wild life. Their chemistry is instant, passionate, and chaotic in the best way. Arc: Aston finally channels his impulsiveness into something meaningful - love that makes him grow up without losing his fire.

Episode 22 - The Setup Gone Wrong: Sammy arranges yet another “perfect date” for Aston, but he bails at the last second, slipping away to a bar instead. There, he stumbles into Chokun, a charismatic musician performing a live gig. Their first meeting is messy but electric, the kind of chaotic clash that leaves Aston both annoyed and intrigued.

Episode 23 - Instant Chemistry: During another night out, Chokun playfully drags Aston on stage, forcing him out of his comfort zone. Aston resists at first, but soon the adrenaline and Chokun’s daring energy spark something undeniable between them. The crowd cheers, and beneath the noise, a quieter connection begins—rebellion meeting artistry in perfect sync.

Episode 24 - Tensions: As they grow closer, Chokun sees through Aston’s bravado and reckless stunts, recognizing the fear of being trapped by his family’s expectations. When Aston’s impulsiveness starts sabotaging their bond, Chokun calls him out, refusing to be just another act of rebellion. The tough love shakes Aston, making him question what he really wants.

Episode 25 - The Blow Up: Aston’s double life finally unravels when his parents discover his secret nights out with Chokun and his band. Their disapproval is harsh and unforgiving, leaving Aston torn between family duty and the freedom he’s tasted with Chokun. Overwhelmed, Aston nearly gives up on the relationship, convinced it was doomed from the start.

Episode 26 - The Song: At his next gig, Chokun dedicates a heartfelt song to Aston, stripping away the noise and speaking directly to him through his music. In that moment, Aston realizes what they share isn’t just rebellion against his family—it’s real love, raw and transformative. With renewed courage, he chooses Chokun fully, stepping into the spotlight and embracing a love that feels like his own anthem.

Side Story: Sammy went to the club with her group of friends. In a desperate attempt, she makes out with a random female stranger who has been hitting on her through out the night. Only for her to realise that she didn't feel sexually attracted to the woman at all.

Episode 27 (Last Episode) - Family

Each couple has their moment of declaration in front of the family. Tay and New stand firm as business equals, proving that love has strengthened—not weakened—their ambitions. Milk admits her relationship with Love, baring her fears of judgment but showing newfound courage in choosing authenticity over image. Junior reveals his photography exhibit as proof of his talent, with Mark proudly by his side. View openly brings Min, explaining that quiet love gives her more strength than any flashy match ever could. Aston shocks everyone by arriving hand in hand with Chokun, daring his parents to reject the version of himself that finally feels real.

Sammy, caught in the middle, finally speaks up: she was hired to find matches, but she ended up guiding the siblings to find themselves. The siblings stand united for the first time, defending one another’s loves against their parents’ doubts. Their solidarity softens the family’s rigid walls—cracks forming as the parents begin to see that happiness looks different for each child.

The episode closes with Tay & New's wedding, and Sammy appearing with her fiancé.

The end.
