Chapter Text
Izuku POV:
It hurt... my whole body hurts, I wanted it to stop, I needed it to stop so bad! I didn't know what was happening to me, but I doubted it was good, it was as if my body was being broken down, the vestiges... they were screaming, did they feel this too...? I don't know, I'm scared, what do I do?! I couldn't see anything, it's like that black-hole-thing was killing me, but... wouldn't I be dead by now, so why was I-?
"AGH!!!" I yell as I clench my chest, or at least I think I do, in pain and as I do, I start to notice that the vestiges of OFA are quieting, as if they were disappearing.
"KID, there's something wrong with OFA!" yelled Banjo before he screamed, his vestige flickering, the colour draining from his ghost.
Something is very wrong.
"The quirk...! It's becoming... something else!" En explained before his vestige cracked, white veins spreading across his form.
"What's happening to you all?!" I yelled in my mind, and the pain wasn’t helping.
"The vestiges, we're... we're disappearing!" Shimura blurted out, she was vanishing, but she was resisting as best she could, I could feel her pain though.
It hurts.
I then started to panic, "They're disappearing?!" I thought to myself, I knew this was bad.
I heard the third user, Bruce Lee (Yes, that is his real name, I checked), grunt as he resisted whatever was happening to us, "Listen kid, you may be on your own now, don't forget what you learned. Something tells me you'll live, don't... stop... fighting!" he gritted out, more cracks spreading as his colour flickers and dims, before vanishing entirely.
I could no longer sense him.
Shinomori then spoke up as I felt him fading, "Listen Ninth, we may disappear, but remember, we're still apart of you, our quirks will live on in you, we'll always be with you... always..." I then felt an emptiness where I heard his voice, he's gone.
"He's right Ninth, we'll always be by your side," Yoichi states before I heard Shimura’s cry… vanish from my quirk, and my mind.
Yoichi continues, "We'll be within you at all times, our quirks are for you now, don't forget that," I then feel another disappear; it was my mentor... All Might was gone.
Yoichi keeps talking, "I understand this is worrying, but something tells me that this is not then end, you will live... somewhere else," I then hear the Second, Toshitsugo Kudo, groan as I feel him getting weaker.
"Look, I know I was hard on you kid, and I apologize for that,” Second started, “The world is a cruel place, and I wasn’t sure If you were ready, but now that we've defeated AFO and after everything you’ve done since getting this quirk... Yoichi is right, we're going somewhere, this isn't the end, OFA has a second purpose now, a Second Mission. Don't screw it up, not like we did for generations... okay?" I nod as best I can as I feel my body ache even more, it just keeps getting worse the more they disappear.
I then feel a sense of relief from Kudo before he disappears as well, En eventually giving out and fades. It was only Yoichi, Banjo, and me now.
"What do I do?" I was still hurting, but it was lessening now, that's good.
"Now?” Yoichi asks.
“You finish the fight without us, you’re ready,” Banjo wheezes, his flickering getting worse; I could barely see him now.
“Indeed,” First agreed, “you get ready to face the darkness without us, we won't be able to guide you now, it's all up to you, find Tenko for Nana, won't you?"
"I will, I promise!" as I nod.
Banjo must’ve been waiting for that, because he vanishes soon after, Yoichi weakening as he smiles at me for the last time, "Thank you, Toshinori made the right choice picking you... Izuku," I then see him vanish like smoke before my very eyes, he's gone... just like the others.
The pain starts to subside as I begin to feel a breeze, but it was still dark, I didn't know where I was, my body began to process sensations other than pain, it felt like I was on some sort of plastic, I was trying to move but I found my body was sluggish, heavy.
"I must still be exhausted from my fight with Shigaraki and AFO," I thought to myself as I tried to open my eyes, they were so heavy, why was I so tired, was it because of what happened after the fight?
I then finally opened my eyes, but I still couldn't see anything, is my body still adjusting to what happened?
I groaned from my body aching all over, "Ugh... I'm definitely feeling that tomorrow, I think I have a cramp... all over."
My eyes began to see again, slowly, it was like the world was slowly opening up from the center of my vision. I slowly look around, eyes shifting from thing to another, as I gather my surroundings, realizing it's still night, wherever I am. I then start to smell something fowl, like garbage or something.
"Oh, what the-?" I slowly turn to look at my right and see a garbage bag next to me, then below me, and all around me... then it hits me.
"I'M IN A DUMPSTER!!!" I jolt up in a rush, I'm then immediately lightheaded and keel to the left and fall out, hitting my head to the ground.
"... Owwwwwwwww," I slowly stand back up, leaning on the dumpster with one hand and holding my head with the other, I'm taking deep breaths to try and stabilize myself.
When I start feeling better, I stand up properly and look at myself...
I sigh in relief, my suit is still intact from whatever that was, that's good. "Now to figure out where I am," I thought as I went to look out the alleyway, my body seems to be waking up more and more, so I was almost better.
I peeked out I saw no one outside, which confused me, even if it was night, there were usually people outside taking a midnight stroll or something. Then the sound of glass shattering rang and I turned to my right to see a young girl, in a red and black hood and skirt with black hair and painted tips, standing up with a man on the ground as her gadget seemed to enlarge and shape into what looked like a giant scythe!
I immediately ducked back into the alleyway where I came from and watched from afar, this was not Japan, and definitely not any country or continent I know of, I don't know where I am.
