   Hii!!! This is Daphne again and I'm excited to be back with my first OC fic!
   If you've read my Hayffie fic, "Backup Wife" you may recall hearing about Eveta and MIliaro, and this fic will be focused on them and their story.

   This work is inspired by Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games and is mostly canon compliant with some exceptions here and there.
   The story starts days prior to the reaping for the 63rd Hunger Games and follows a career tribute through his experience in the games, and an ex-career turned tortured victim of the Capitol.

   The life of a victor.
   Is it pretty? Is it painful?
   Miliaro Trevaton is desperate to find out, and Eveta Calypso is desperate to ensure he never does.
