Chapter Text
Ever since Till was little, he had always known what he wanted to be: a music artist, a Kpop star. His mother encouraged those dreams and taught him something very important. That he would not just be a popstar, but also a hunter.
Demons have always haunted the world, stealing souls to give to their king, Unsha. That is until heroes arose to defend. They were born with voices that could drive back the demons. But Hunters are more than warriors; their music ignites the soul and brings people together. With this connection, the first Hunters created a shield to protect the world, the Honmoon. Every generation, a new trio of Hunters is chosen to fulfill the ultimate destiny. A barrier so strong it is impenetrable, that will keep demons from the world forever: the Golden Honmoon.
We go to our current hunters point of view: Huntr/x in Seoul, Korea.
“Okay, this is our biggest show yet.” Till told his members of his band, Huntr/x. The three of them are flying in a plane to their upcoming concert.
“Yes! It’s going to be fun!” Mizi exclaimed, almost squealing with excitement.
“Yeah, now all our training will pay off. Happy fans mean a happy Honmoon.” Luka added.
The three of them had been working nonstop in preparation for this tour. They were getting very close to a Golden Honmoon, but they had to work hard if they wanted to achieve their goal.
“I know. I’ve been awake for more than 24 hours. I really need a coffee.” Till replied, rubbing his head.
“I would love some tea.” Mizi replied, “Um, excuse me, miss?”
“Yes, Miss Hunter…-ix?” The stewardess asked, while pouring coffee into a plant.
“Could you get us a coffee and tea? Luka?” Mizi asked, turning to Luka to ask if he wanted anything.
“I’m good.” Luka said. He was eating a cupcake for sugar instead- he had a big sweet tooth.
“Right away. Bye. You're welcome. Hello, yes.” The stewardess responded.
“Uh, okay.” Mizi replied, confused by the response.
Suddenly, Till’s phone rang and he rushed to answer it.
“Hello Urak.” Till grumbled out. All of them hated their manager Urak, but Till hated him the most. Urak was nothing more than a self centered man who only cared about himself and making as much money off of Huntr/x as possible.
“Where are you? The show is about to start.” Urak’s deep voice spit out.
“We’re still in the plane, on our way.” Luka leaned in to say into the phone.
“You were supposed to be here 15 minutes ago. You'd better get here in the next 5 minutes or there will be consequences.”
“Yes sir.” Till spit out quickly and hung up.
“Woah, you just hung up on Urak?!” Mizi exclaimed.
“Ugh! I'm sick of him! We need to find a better manager!” Till exclaimed, tucking his phone away. The other two didn’t respond. They knew Till’s relationship with Urak was complicated.
Till looked out the plane window to see they were flying away from the stadium. He turned around to talk to the flight crew but they all seemed to be behaving oddly.
They were demons, it clicked in Till's mind. Till turned to his bandmates, but it looked like they already noticed as well.
“I didn't even get to finish my cupcake!” Luka grumbled.
“Why do they always pick the worst time!” Mizi said, frustrated.
Till walked up to the stewardess.
“Excuse me?”
“Please take your seat.” the stewardess said.
“Yeah, no. You're a demon, correct?” Till responded, already pulling out his sword.
“What?”
“You're literally watering plants with coffee. And you're friends, they're not much better.” Till grimaced at the two other demons that were pressing a bunch of random buttons in the control room of the plane.
“Oh, we were just-”
Till doesn't wait for the stewardess to finish their dumb excuse and grabs the demon's arm. Sure enough, the demon patterns appeared.
“Got you.”
The demon let go of their disguise and turned into their full demon form. The other two followed their friends' example and turned as well.
“You got the patterns; now you gotta die.” Luka said, as he pulled out his weapon.
“The only ones dying tonight are your fans.” One demon said.
“Woah!” Huntr/x yelled at the same time. All three of them loved their fans; they would protect them no matter what.
“Not our fans!” Mizi exclaimed, pulling out her weapon.
“You mess with our fans, we need to make it hurt.” Luka said, also pulling out his weapon.
The demons ran towards Huntr/x, but they didn't let them get too close. Till slashed his sword at the closest demon, almost connecting. He knew his band mates would take care of the other two. With tiny small fry demons like these, they never took too long to eliminate.
Till dodged the demon’s counter attack. Then he quickly stabbed the demon with his sword. It groaned, then disintegrated. Easy peasy.
Till looked at his teammates and saw that the other demons were gone.
“Alright guys, I'll go land the plane.” Luka said before hurrying off to go do it. Luka had all kinds of random skills since he grew up rich. His parents had made him learn a lot of things, which helped out in a lot of situations.
“Thanks Luka!” Mizi called after him.
Till sat down, prepared for a bumpy but short flight. Luka was a crazy driver.
Sure enough, five minutes later, the plane was parked and Huntr/x was on stage performing.

Meanwhile, deep in the spirit world, all of the demons watched as one demon made her way up these giant stairs. She stopped when she got to the top of the stairs, and there was one other demon on the top with her; the demon king Unsha.
“Let me guess, they got away again?” Unsha growled in the demon’s face.
“The hunters are too strong!” The demon tried to explain.
“Weak, you're all WEAK!” Unsha yelled, “Once the hunters turn the Honmoon gold, it's over for us!”
All the demons cowered in fear, but suddenly a voice cut through the cries.
“Once there was a demon king who was very powerful, but then some hunters sang some songs and now his power is fading.” The voice said.
“Ivan. You dare mock me?” Unsha glared.
“No, I didn't come to mock you. I'm here to help you.” Ivan replied. While Ivan was talking, three other demons lined up behind him.
“You need a new strategy. Fight the hunters where they least expect it. The very thing that powers the Honmoon; the fans.” The four of them pose like a boy band.
“A demon band? What made you think that would work?” Ushna laughed.
Ivan snapped his fingers to reveal their human disguises, hiding away their patterns. Multiple demons gasp at how beautiful they are.
“Hm, I guess it could work. But I know you Ivan. In 400 years, you have never done something that didn't benefit you. What do you want?” Unsha said.
“The memories… I want them erased.” Ivan replied.

We head back to our heros Huntr/x after their concert.
“Did you see the gold? We're getting close.” Luka asked the other two. The three of them are heading down an elevator.
“Yeah!” Mizi replied, raising her hands in celebration.
“You know what this means, right? We should release the song after our break.” Till told them. As much as they wanted to turn the Honmoon gold as quickly as possible, they really needed a break.
“Finally!” Luka exclaimed.
“We can finally turn the Honmoon gold then!” Mizi replied.
“Yes-” Till coughed before he could finish his sentence.
“You good?” Luka asked, looking at Till concerned.
“Good thing we're taking a break for a bit, huh?” Mizi said, worried.
“I probably just need some water. Don't worry guys.” Till replied, waving away their concerns.
The elevator dings and the three of them step out. Unfortunately, Urak is right there to greet them.
“You were late.” Urak glared at them.
“Only by a few minutes. All our fans didn’t mind.” Till tried to reason. Mizi and Luka nod their heads in agreement.
“That is what you think. Regardless, you failed. I said there would be punishment if you failed.” Urak growled.
“It was my fault. I caused the plane to be delayed. I'm sorry.” Till blurted out. He didn't want his other two band mates to get in even more trouble.
“Wait, no-” Mizi started to say.
“That's not-” Luka tried to speak.
“I made you the leader of Huntr/x. You need to be better than this Till. Come with me, we’ll discuss your punishment in my office.” Urak spat, then turned around and started walking. Till hesitantly followed behind, leaving the other two members of Huntr/x alone.
“Till…” Mizi reached out in vain. Luka and Mizi were now alone.
“It'll be okay Mizi…” Luka said, even though it sounded like he was also trying to convince himself.
“Yeah, you're probably right… I guess we should head back to the penthouse then? Relax on our break while we wait for Till?” Mizi replied.
“Yeah, let's do that.” Luka agreed.
Luka and Mizi headed to their penthouse where all three Huntr/x members were staying. They were a popular band and were rich enough to buy a penthouse to share.
“Yay, back home!” Mizi exclaimed when they got there.
“Yes, two weeks of vacation.” Luka said.
“Wanna watch a movie while we wait for Till?” Mizi asked Luka.
“Sure, let me guess, romance?” Luka said. Mizi always liked to watch romance movies and cry over them.
“Yup, come on!” Mizi led Luka to the couch.
Just when they picked out a movie to watch, they heard the door open. It was Till, although he looked even more tired than usual.
“Hi, Till. How did it go?” Mizi asked hesitantly.
“You good?” Luka asked bluntly. Till just let out a sigh.
“Urak released the song. Golden.” Till looked at the ground when talking.
“Well, we were going to do it already, so…” Luka said.
“I know. But, we don't get a break anymore. Sorry guys…” Till said, finally looking up at their faces.
“Well,... that's fine! We should focus on turning the Honmoon gold anyway! Then we can take a break!” Mizi replied, trying to make Till feel better.
“The promo starts tonight. We have to leave.” Till said.
Till exited the penthouse, and the other two hesitantly followed.
