Ireland flopped onto his bed. It had been an exhausting day of- well, doing what he normally did. Farming, drawing, looking after his land, the usual countryhuman stuff when its Peacetime.
Slowly everything faded in darkness.
Ireland awoke in the Mirror Realm. Like always it was a black void with a weird purplish dust that settled at the Horizion.
“Ireland?” Soviet said from behind him, appearing out of the purple smog. Like all inhabitants of the Mirror realm he had black sclera and a glowing pupil.
“Yesir” Ireland mumbled.
“I’ve got another job for you”
“Mhmm”
“I need you to travel to the continent and find out what Germany’s powers are”
Ireland blinked with confusion. “Why do you need to know that? How do even know that he does have powers? Couldn’t you just ask East? He lives here doesn’t he?”
Soviet frowned. “Don’t question me, just do it.”
“What do I get for this?”
“The usual.” Soviet replied.
Tickets, tickets that would let him get over the border to Asia without raising immediate alarms. A way to escape New Europe and to protect his family… “I want two tickets.”
Soviet blinked. “Two?”
Ireland nodded confidently. “I only need two more tickets and then I can get out.”
“Don’t you already have four tickets? Thats four times the amount you need.”
Ireland avoided eye contact. “Just because I don’t talk to UK and the others doesn’t mean I’m just going to leave them here. Don’t get me wrong I hate them, also this is a pretty big ask you’re giving me”
“Alright” Suddenly everything turned black.
