Chapter Text
Star only knew darkness for a while, he wasn't even sure if he was alive or not. The last thing he saw (and heard) was a loud and terrifying scream from somewhere that DEFINITLEY didn't belong to him as The Council was going to shoot.. that lazer on him.
He kept falling, they didn't know when they'd stop falling until they did, and they thought they were gone. He really did.
...
"Where am I?" Star thought to himself, as he blinked a bit to adjust their eyes to the red light coming from somewhere, before realizing what he was lying down on.
..That's a Dreamcatcher. A dead one to be exact.
Out of fear, he tried to get himself up before falling back down due to his lack of leg, seeing that there were dead Dreamcatchers, Everywhere.
He looked down, hoping that he's MOSTLY intact.
Oh, he doesn't have a leg anymore, what happened to his leg? What happened to it!?
He knows that they can't dream at all but he's hoping that this is just a horrible nightmare. A geniune hope that this is all just a bad dream he KNOWS that he can't have, that everything is okay and they're still with TV planning to do karaoke and-
..He's scared.
Star begins to tear up a bit, rolling up into a ball.
He isn't a real Dreamcatcher after all..
He's just a screw up.
A mistake of a Dreamcatcher.
Why did TV ever believe in him in the first place?
Star started to sob, curling up further, being unable to see right from the crack in their helmet AND his tears, starting to cry himself to sleep, or well, some form of it.
He plans that when he gets his energy again, they'll go and try to escape this hole full of dead people. Actually.
He can do that when they wake up later, they can get out of the pit and find TV when they wake up, Star isn't really sure what to do with their missing leg though.
Star finally closes their eyes and has a restless sleep. Hoping that they'll able to wake up again.
