Chapter Text

It's 7pm, dark outside, and raining. Rody is serving the last customers. "I wonder what Vincent is doing.." he muttered to himself. "Hey! Are you listening?" One of the customers was getting impatient. "Oh, uhm- sorry what was your order?" It's a miracle Rody hasn't been fired yet. "This place really needs to check who they're hiring" another customer declared. Before Rody got to say anything both customers repeated their order. Rody wanted to say something but knew it would just make them angrier, so instead he wrote down their orders and did his job. 20 minutes later the they left. "I guess I should talk to Vincent now." Rody turned the knob of the kitchen door and stopped. He looked throught the window on the door. Vincent was holding one of the chefs over an oven. (Insert the conversation Vince had the with the chef because I couldn't find it and didn't want to look in a playthrough for it) Rody quickly backed away and shut the door behind him, he was speechless.

---------------------------------

It rained all night into the morning and Rody was terrified. What if something like that happened to himself? But he put those worries in the back of his mind. He needed this job and can't impress Manon without money. Rody went outside, dragging his bike alongside him. Within seconds he and his bike were partially soaked in rain. He got on his bike and thought "maybe if I bike fast enough I won't get wet?" It wasn't likely but there was nothing else he could try and went on his way to the La Gueule De Saturne. When he got there Vincent seemed upset that Rody was late. Vincent toke a towel and dried Rody's hair. "Why didn't you bring an umbrella?" Vincent questions "I don't have one." Rody responded. "Take mine" ----"What about you?".----" I live here and I have another one." After that Rody less scared of Vincent but the feeling never completely left and he asked Vincent for more time to get ready but he said no. While Rody was working he found a peephole in the wall. It was a little unsettling but he didn't take too much thought to it. He worked the rest of his shift after that with no strange things popping up. When Rody got home he went straight for the phone and dialed Manon's number but they're was of course no answer. Like always.
