Nero relationship headcanons (nsfw included If possible) with a male human-angel hybrid reader (pre and post 5 events). Hope you find It interesting
This was hard, but GOSH IT WAS CUTE! (Also keep reading isn’t working, so be warned! Spoilers!)
Pre DMC5
- Alrighty, so when this good boi first met you, it was during the chaos that pretty much destroyed The Order in Fortuna. Flying suits of angelic armor buzzed about everywhere, so it wasn’t too surprising that he would mistake you for an enemy, especially if you’re in your angel trigger form.
- Once Nero realizes that you are not a demon or a member of the order and you realize he’s not actually out to kill you, your vicious fight quickly transforms into a playful spar, throwing half-hearted insults at one another. It’s a relief for Nero to meet someone that isn’t purposely trying to piss him off.
- Nero will probably not let you come with him. He’s on the warpath and doesn’t want anyone to slow him down. (I mean, I doubt you would. You’re half-angel for goodness’s sake) But he will not say no if you happen to scout ahead and give him some good info.
- Any form of relationship besides temporary alliance will probably begin to form after he and Kyrie leave Fortuna, free of the order and under the unofficial employ (read: care) of Dante, Trish, Lady.
- You two would reunite by complete chance, you spot a familiar head of fluffy white hair headed towards a van with bright blue neon lights adorned on the sides. And thus, you begin a legitimate friendship with the young man.
- Nero is slow to trust, but the easiest way to his heart is simply to be honest and open with him. Don’t keep secrets and don’t ridicule him. (Bantering and lighthearted teasing is fine though, he can take it)
- If he introduces you to Kyrie, that is a very big sign of trust. (Since I adore Kyrie, Nero values her as his little sister instead of love interest in this.)
Spoilers Below
Post DMC
- With the disappearance of Dante and Vergil, the main work for Devil May Cry has fallen upon you, Nero, and Nico.
- After surviving one hell of a trip into a literal hell on earth, Nero and Nico are completely confident in your abilities and count you as a full partner. Though that doesn’t stop them from being protective of you.
- You’re the one angel in this nightmarish land of demons, they’re going to want to protect you. You’re very dear to them.
- If you’re not on the road with them, you’ll be with Kyrie. This sweet girl is so happy Nero found someone he cares so much about it.
General Fluffiness
- Once in a relationship, he’s going to be unabashedly curious about your angelic background. Well, he was already curious but now he’s comfortable enough to ask you.
- Nero will practically bury himself in your fluffy wings, it will quickly become his favorite sleeping position. Hope you don’t mind it!
- Sometimes, Nero will feel self-conscious about his demonic heritage. He’s the opposite of you. Why would you choose him?
- If the anxiety shoe is on the other foot, he’ll try his hardest to comfort you. Mostly by snuggling into you. He’s a very “tell don’t show” person.
- Overall, ya ’ll are fricking cute and this prompt was hard but FFFFFFFFFF ITS SO CUTE.
