It was a just normal day, right?
Maybe for Azure and Two Time.
But it doesnt seem too normal for the both of them.
Azure hasnt been seen with Two Time for a while, and of course alot of people noticed.
They're rarely seen seperated anyway. Azure has been asked ever since - "Wheres Two Time?"
But all he could come up with? "They needed to go somewhere. They're fine. "
But what he only knew. The look on their face when they were just left lying on the cold, hard floor.
Was it really worth it?
...
Hours later, Azure hasnt been seen smiling for a while.
Azure is usually seen smiling though? What even happened?
Its like they're afraid of something, yet they don't want to tell anyone. Why? Because they'll all know. They'll all know about what happened between him and Two Time.
Azure sat on the edge of their bed in their room, his eyes fixated on the dagger. He hasnt cleaned the dagger yet, but the blood isnt really dried up yet.
Azure spoke -
" I should've cleaned it earlier. Now people will be suspicious when I pull it out.. "
He reluctantly stood up from the bed, picking the dagger, holding it, their body suddenly becoming shaky as they hold it with both hands, yet they walk to the bathroom slowly.
...
They walk to the sink, averting their gaze from the mirror, just immediately turning on the faucet, then washing the blood off.
Yet, its not completely gone.
The blood will dry soon. Azure thought.
Azure holds the dagger by its handle with both hands, carefully, but shakily making their way back to their room.
They place the dagger back to where they last placed it, sitting on the edge of their bed again.
They suddenly give themselves a reminder to check one of the drawers in the room.
They checked a drawer, feeling the texture of paper in it, then taking it out of the drawer, just to see...
.A picture of him and Two Time together.
Azure just had their eyes fixated on the picture for a good 30 seconds, before placing the picture next to the dagger, their mind stuck on what they did earlier because of their own placement of the two items.
Great job Azure, now everythings reminding you of what you did!
Azure said, but only in their mind.
" Why did I.. "
Azure questioned themselves, not expecting an answer. Expectant, no voice was heard. Just their own mind.
" Well, yes, for a second life, but what other answers do I have? "
Azure answered themselves. Maybe that's the only reason. Otherwise Two Time would've still be with them, still alive.
... The silence filled the air, with Azure overthinking.Are they okay now? Obviously not, yet he couldnt help but ask. Are they still alive?
... He cant answer that. He LEFT them. He doesnt know if they're even still conscious.
" I need to try forgetting.. "
Azure said to themselves.
Easier said than done, he thought.
" .. Calm down, Azure. "
Azure said, yet it was a terrible attempt for trying to ease up himself.
He took off his hat, placing it on a nearby table, then laying on the bed, their head on a pillow, yet that didnt help with his own thoughts at all.. What he did... Everything that happened earlier... He cant forget it.
It's just.. difficult.
His eyes close shut, but their brain? Its still noisy.
"I cant sleep" He said in his mind.
He then tries relaxing, a successful attempt to sleep.
His mind finally goes blank. He goes unconscious,
In a sleeping state,
Finally relaxed from his own thoughts.
