Work Text:
That incorporeal parasite sits on its knees between her legs. It’s whispering some doting words to her again, but she can’t bring herself to listen, staring at the multitude of eyes staring at it lovingly.
It’s disgusting. It’s abhorrent, and she can’t seem to rid herself of it despite her attempts. It doesn’t even seem to mind her grimacing face, as per usual.
She reaches forward to grab its face tentatively, making the apparition pause for a moment. It smiles adoringly, like a real, loving partner. She could never stare at that face with love. Bringing her hands up to the wings beneath its halo, she grabs onto them, and rips them off with synchronised, harsh tugs. A cry resounds as its face immediately contorts into an unbearable pain.
