Chapter Text

It's been a month since the last class graduated. Three months since the disaster at the X games,and Bradley still hasn't heard the last of it from certain people even though the mass majority of the campus had pretty much let it drop off the radar.

Tonight he was just not ready to go to the Gamma house.

He just rolled around the poorly lit skating spot late at night. The only sound being the subtle rolling noise of his wheels,and even that was straight to bother him tonight when it'd usually do the opposite. After about three more laps around the bowl he slumped down onto the only bench under a light. The dread of knowing he eventually should go home lingered over his head. A twig breaking behind him snapped him out of his funk, Bradley turned around ready to use his board as a weapon if needed. It was Max.

“Didn't know I wasn't the only one who did late night skating when they can't sleep.” Max held his hands up in a ‘I come in peace’ gesture and sat on the opposite side of the bench, “What? Do I have something on my face? Bobby draw something on me again?” He felt one of his cheeks.

Bradley looked at the man as if he had two heads, utter disbelief painted all over his face. He couldn't understand why Max of all people was talking to him after everything,and was starting to look around for his friends, probably sneaking up to do something. With the coast clear, Bradley just dropped his head forward as he rested his elbows on his knees.

“Why are you talking to me, Goof? You of all people shouldn't even want to be within earshot of me…because-” Max put up a finger to interrupt his train of thought. He grumbled but let the other continue.

Max fiddled with his skateboard by rolling it back and forth, “Because of the X games? Brad, you messed up and you already paid for it. Literally. What use is it to drag it out instead of actually moving past it? Is that why you're out here? Someone bagging on ya still?” He sat up with a look of mild concern.

Blazing alerts berated Bradley's brain. He knew he shouldn't keep up the conversation, but the look the younger man wore showed sincere worry towards him and his words came out too easily. What was about the Goof that always seemed to unravel him in some way; this time he felt like sharing with him was right regardless of what his inner monologue told him.

He ran his hands over his face and explained how the Gammas haven't kicked him out for whatever reasons they had, but they seemed to be set on making any time he spent with them in the house a living hell. How they'd pull stupid pranks on him, that would be normally funny, but the extent they amped them to made them anything but: putting heavy-duty itching powder in his boxer drawer, throwing poppers in his bed, “accidentally” spilling drinks on the tables whenever he's working on his homework but it was only enough to not quite reach his laptop though it'd still scare him to high heaven, they even put his phone in Jell-O last week. That was only to name a few things.

“I…I've been trying to stay out long enough for all of them to fall asleep so I can just go to bed…but tonight I think they chose to throw a party and I don't wanna risk them rekindling the campus angst and the Bean Scene closed early due to the Mic breaking and apparently upsetting the aura of the performing poet, now I'm here…what's my stiff back insomnia to you?” Bradley rolled his shoulders giving away that he may have knocked out on the bench a few times.

“Wow,the whole school has practically forgotten about that, and those lugheads are still dragging it out…I'd get it if they'd give ya the cold shoulder but not that stuff…man, some guys turn into little kids sometimes..” Max rubbed the back of his neck “Hey…why don't come back to my dorm? At least there you can get a decent night's sleep without the risk of an explosive alarm…just come on!” He stood up and offered his hand for Bradley but when he took too long to take it, Max grabbed his hand and with a chuckle rolled them back to his dorm building.

The entire way there, Bradley kept insisting that Max shouldn't even be bothering with him and would try to wiggle his hand free,but stopped when he threatened to make them wipe out.

They got to the room, and Max pointed to his bunk bed saying he could take the empty top bunk. Bradley hesitated for a second but still climbed up. The bed had a single pillow and blanket that he found out were surprisingly comfortable after he double checked it for pranks out of habit. He leaned over the edge and mumbled out a thank you before turning over in a huff. Eventually succumbing to the multiple nights of no sleep.

The next morning PJ was the first to wake up and noticed Bradley, arm draped over the edge, face squished into the pillow. He shook Max awake like he was alerting him to a fire.

“Dude, what's he doing here?” He whispered to a groggy Max, who proceeded to give a short run down, “but Maaaax we can't just act like nothing happened…though that is messed up. I think even Bobby would agree."

“PJ… everyone deserves a second chance. Like I told him last night. There's no real reason to drag it out and it's stupid to not move on. So, I'm willing to give getting to know him a shot if he'll let me. I get wanting to be guarded though.” Max stood up and saw that Bradley was still deep asleep and went for a quick shower.

Bobby slowly slumped out of bed and almost yelled when saw Bradley, but PJ covered his mouth before he could wake him, only making him turnover in his sleep. He gave him the same run down Max gave. The cheese lover just looked up at the bunk and gave a sympathetic ‘awww man’ and sat on Max's bed. The man wasn't the greatest to them before but according to Bobby he agreed with Max that no one deserved treatment like that and should get a shot even if it's a precautionary one.

After another ten minutes, Max came back and woke up Bradley. He offered to be a look out if he wanted to go to the Gamma house to get stuff since it was on the way to class.

Bradley wasn't used to getting help because he always had to figure out how to get something done himself. He tried to refuse Max at least rolling around the front of the house,but he needed his stuff bad and having means to get in and out quickly would make the morning go smoothly. He didn't want to look helpless, so he made it look like he was merely allowing Max to be in his presence.

They rolled up to the Gamma house and Max casually passed it first to see if he could see any of the guy's home. The coast was clear. Bradley ran in and up to his room.

With caution he inspected his closet and dresser for any sort of powder or anything else that could be in there. Bradley changed into some clean clothes. Just when he grabbed his backpack he got a text from Max. He was asking if he needed to go a little ways down to make sure no one's coming or just tettering in front was still fine, but Bradley was already coming out.

“How did you get my number, Goof?!” He looked through his phone and realized Max was a new addition to his contacts. The younger had added his digits while he slept. It bugged him a little but Bradley chose to leave it for the time being.

Their classes were in the same direction so they just kept walking next to each other.

To break the tension of escaping a possible run in of Frat terror, Max decided to try to talk about related stuff,but was going to try not make sound forced.

“Any dreading classes first thing or are those fortunately for later? I got Anatomy and Physiology first today…” Max did a one-eighty turn and was now facing Bradley but rolling backwards.

Bradley was double checking that he had an assignment that was due in his backpack when stopped dead in his tracks. His attention was fully on Max. From what limited information he did know about Max, the newly acquired of his class choice piqued even his curiosity.

“My first class is Economics because,well, when you're told your type of future is lined up in business, you have to know what you’re doing .You…you don't exactly give off as one who'd take ANATOMY of all things, G-...Max…what are you even going for?” He asked with genuine curiosity as he put his backpack on.

Max couldn't help but laugh,and it was more so because of the story behind his course curriculum, “To be a Massage Therapist. With my Dad being the clutz he is, I've already gotten pretty good with my hands when it comes to helping him right then,especially when he gets himself stuck somewhere,but over time I felt like I kinda wanna help other people that need it ooooor maybe just help the other Goofy Goofs. Gotta learn more details of the body beyond what can be seen…don't need to push a bad pressure point and hurt someone,ya know…all that sounds weird I know…” he rubbed the back of his neck and looked like he was ready to get made fun of.

What he got he wasn't expecting. Credit. The other gave him credit for going with the path he chose to take. Though he did throw in a little joke about him being lucky he hadn't wiped out too much where his head took the blow.

They both had a good laugh which was made harder when Max fumbled a small hop on his board that would've resulted in a face plant if he didn't recover.

“Dammit, the pledge Gammas. I had a feeling that I couldn't escape at least some of them today.” Two Gamma members surrounded Bradley and “accidentally” bumping him off his board.

They toyed around with “missing” him that morning and how they all needed a good laugh to deal with their hangovers. The smaller Gamma tried to mess with his backpack but got reminded that schoolwork was off-limits if they didn't want Professors to know how much they pay for someone to do their work for them. They backed off some but still tried to poke fun while they could. Bradley tried to keep as straight of a face that he could even though his eyes screamed annoyance.

Max singled to Bradley to cover his ears and brought over a Tuba player from the Marching band who was nearby. The player did one good,long blow of his instrument right behind the Gammas. One grabbed his head and fell back into a bush while the other went to throw up right next to him.

During their getaway Max gave the Tuba player five dollars,yelling that coffee was on him. They turned the nearest corner in the middle of a crowd of students, and the Gamma lackeys kept going. Though even at a quick glance they both still looked like they could lose their cookies.

“ Those two never listened to how to prevent a hangover. You didn't have to do that though…you could've just booked it…but that was quite impressive, but why?” Bradley looked at his watch then back at Max who had his goofy grin on his face with a sincere look in his eyes.

“Look, Brad, I know you might not believe me,but I was serious about the second chance, especially after hearing what you've been dealing with. We get to know each other as PEOPLE, no competition, no quid pro quo, just as us. I ain't asking to be best buds in two seconds,but a good way to start is help shew away some Frat drones while having fun too…look, you have my number now. You can text if you wanna hang out and even if you need the spare bunk,okay? We also go to the Bean Scene after classes are done. I'll text you what table we're at in case you wanna join.” Max gave him a fist bump before heading his way to class.

Bradley watched him go, stuck in place in utter confusion from the last twelve hours. He pulled out his phone and looked at the text from Max while he was in the house. The guy actually chose to stick around when he could've just dropped him off,but no, he watched out for him and even helped him out…twice. Was that how it actually was to possibly have a friend?

The feeling was utterly confusing to him. Sure,he got attention and people were around him,but now that he thought about it he wasn't sure if all of them WANTED to be around him. He wondered how many of them were around due to him or his other “friends” practically ordering them to, because the feeling Max left him with was something entirely different from what he felt with them.

After a few minutes of being stuck in a daze, Bradley rolled off to class.

~~~~~~~~~
Max texted Bradley after his last class, somewhat unsure if their schedule ended the same time that day, that he was heading over to the Bean Scene along with which table PJ and Bobby had grabbed for them.
Bradley’s phone beeped the second he was out of class. He looked at the invite and looked right and left, contemplating if he should act on it or not, in a split second choice he said ‘screw it, why not’ and headed off to the coffee spot. Once there he looked around to see if Max was there yet, and then walked over to the table after placing an order at the counter.
“You look like you were put through the RING-GER, Bradley boy! Class that bad?” Bobby called out as he stretched his arms to rest them behind his head.
“Economics. The professor decided to do a surprise quiz and it wasn't the five little questions type…it was the multiple pages of multiple choice PLUS a full page front and back essay question..” Bradley rubbed his face some and got a unison sympathetic ‘ooooouch’
Everyone's drinks arrived and they all looked at them as if they were life-giving elixirs. They all shared the slumps of the day with Bobby's biggest one being a professor confiscating his cheese wizzy. PJ’s was having nothing for two hours because that class got canceled and he couldn't even see Mocha since she still had class herself.
Max was laughing when he told about how in his Anatomy class someone tried to use some Latin to sound smart when answering an identification question but actually said something seriously stupid and unrelated.
“The guy said something like “I saw you walking your parrot” when he was supposed to identify a muscle in the upper back. The professor gave him a book on actual Latin and told him to study it and do a special assignment in Latin.” He chuckled a little more before rest back against the cushions.
Bradley actually started to relax, and conversation started to flow more comfortably. He didn't even care when he saw the same Gammas from that morning walk in. They ended up not noticing him anyways because they were too focused on trying to hit on a couple of girls.
Max's hand unintentionally settled on Bradley's pinky and it made him jump a bit,but didn't feel the urge to move it.
He took a drink of his coffee and almost choked on it from laughing when Bobby produced a can of cheese and started to spray it into his mouth, getting it mostly on PJ since he was right next to him.
They stayed for a couple more hours before needing to head back so they could do any homework. Max stopped a little and waited for Bradley to catch up to him. He offered for him the use of the bunk that night,but got a shake of the head with an added tug of the clothes because Bradley didn't have anything else besides what he's wearing.
“Appreciate it, Max, but can't exactly wear the same stuff for days in a row…plus…can't let them think they scared me off. Got to go back sometimes.” Max popped up with the idea of maybe having a spare bag at their dorm in case he really needs it, “You actually came up with a good idea…I'll think about it. Put a couple things of sleep and change of everyday stuff with a maybe a toothbrush because who knows if they'll try to lock me out one day too.”
They split and when Bradley got to the Gamma house he missed getting hit by a bucket of rotten milk. He said something about asking if they actually had something original and went up to his room.
After his inspection of his bed he laid back, he still couldn't process the last day. Bradley just couldn't get why suddenly a person who shouldn't be even looking in his direction actually wanting to get to know him let alone help him. He wanted to dwell on figuring it out,but had to get his homework done.
Max sat on his bed with his laptop,notebook,and textbook open,his mind seemed to be far away. Homework being nowhere near his focus.
Chapter 2
Summary:
Max and Bradley get closer...much closer eventually. Though the 2 may be smart in some aspects but completely clueless in others.
Notes:
I'm not sure if or when I should redeem Tank. Canonically, I know SOME of his actions can be justified but should i make him realize he went too far what he said here?
Chapter Text
The next few weeks Bradley and Max hanging out became a normal sight, and it was even useful when it came to the hassle of Bradley getting messed with. Especially when they got Bobby and even PJ involved in the "eye for an eye” fun. One time they even used a few cans of Bobby's cheese wizzy stash.
Bradley had taken Max's advice and stashed a back up bag in his dorm, and any night he did stay,even if reluctantly, turned out to be the best sleep he's ever gotten.
The Saturday morning was quiet, faint bird chirps could be heard with distant chatter of early birds. Tranquility was broken by Bobby falling off his bunk, scaring the pants off of everyone, and he acted like nothing happened when he got up.
“How often does that happen? Because it looks like he's way too used to that to be a once in a blue moon occurrence…it's barely seven…” Bradley groaned when he looked at his phone. He grumbled as he collapsed back onto the mattress, complaining about morning people on the weekends.
With a shared chuckle with PJ, Max told him about how it happened roughly twice a week, sometimes three, and it's the reason why the nightstand is in front of their bed and his is right up next to him. Though the nonchalant aftermath never seemed to not be funny to him regardless, the whole thing was quite the wake up call.
Max watched Bradley lazily slink out of the bed and grab for his bag. Something about the upperclassmen caught his attention. The way his oversized shirt hung off one shoulder, the ruffled bedhead showing that he's not so perfect and polished all the time, the half asleep drag in his movements. Yes, he's seen his friends all wake up scruffy and “dead”, but somehow the sight of Bradley like that stirred something inside him and he couldn't place it.
“Campus mess hall or the Bean Scene for coffee and breakfast?” Max rubbed the sleep from his eyes and got votes from PJ and Bobby for their coffee spot but not from their guest.
After combing his hair to his pristine style, Bradley looked through his stuff and frowned.
“ I need to go back to the Gamma house. There’s some official that comes by every first weekend of the month to inspect fraternities and see if they deserve a place in the school. Regardless of how it is there for me, I'm still part of it and at least show up while they're there. Plus, I need to refresh my things and wash what’s in here. I’ll probably meet you there…” He slung his bag over his shoulder and headed out.
They finished getting themselves somewhat together for the day and headed out soon after.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

At the Gamma house of course all of them were asleep still. Bradley took advantage and did any laundry he had and restocked his backup bag while it ran. He went to the kitchen and got juice out of a new bottle since he didn't trust his open one, and just sat on the couch.

After about a half an hour, Tank slumped downstairs. He saw Bradley and couldn't help but bug him.

“Heeeeey, Bradley, long time no see. You weren't here last night for the party.” He went to Bradley's other side when he turned away from him, “Oh come on, don't tell me those dweebs are more fun then us…we only do what we do cuz that's what we do, remember? Screw up big and we aaaaall teach the lesson until a unanimous vote says you learned it.”

Tank playfully flicked Bradley's head, but didn't get a reaction beyond the quick blink from not expecting it. He tried to do it again,but his hand got stopped when Bradley got up and got his laundry out. Practically ignoring the egging on.

“I'm here for the official,alright? Not for the being messed with that's honestly being dragged out. It's more childish than anything by now. Once they're gone, I'm going out so you can turn this place upside down again. ” Bradley put some of the stuff he pulled out into his bag and carried the rest to his room.

The second Tank heard that he found one more thing to mess with before the official came, “ You just gonna slink around somewhere? Too bad you're single. Oh wait, unless you're just gonna go with that PATHETIC Max Goof! Yeaaaa he helped me out but guess that's where the good sense stops. If he's spending time with you now...maybe he's got a thing for losers. That, or maybe he's stupid with a few screws loose?” He turned around to go back downstairs.

That did it.

Bradley grabbed Tank's shoulder and managed to spin him around to face him. The expression he was greeted with was actually a little scary. It wasn't annoyed like when he used to tell him to shut up,but downright pissed.

Insulting him was something he was one thing and he couldn't care less anymore, but the second the topic of Max came into the line of fire for insults, Bradley saw red. He had no idea why it affected him that way although at the moment he didn't care. His friend was not to be touched.

In a swift motion, Bradley pulled Tank by the collar, “Mess with me all you want until you think I've learned my lesson and we're cool or until you're bored, but Max is OFF LIMITS. He's got more brains and personality than all the pledges you guys brought in…they have collective knowledge of a sack of nails. Let's get through the inspection and you get to go wild again, and I'll just come back once in a while. That's it.” He let go and put on his charm facade to answer the door for the official. Tank was left with his mouth open.

The charade of good boys went without a hitch. They had gotten good at faking that they're well behaved the majority of the time. After the official left, Bradley grabbed his bag and left before anything else could be said or done to him, and texted Max his ETA.

He just had to get out of there. His mind was jumbled up and couldn't understand why he acted the way he did. Even if Tank was just pushing his buttons, there was no way Max could think of him beyond a friend,right? Can't be. It was just talk to piss him off but the thought of Max unknowingly being brought into it just ignited something else.

What was it about Max? The underclassmen showed him that even he deserved a second chance,but what he was feeling he couldn't label as gratitude. He's been with girls, but they never made him feel like he did around Max, that feeling he could only compare it to butterflies on fire from his face down, and only with him. Bradley tried to clear his head as best he could before he walked into the coffee spot.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He saw PJ and Mocha at the stage watching whatever performance was on even though he couldn't make out what it was, Bobby was supposedly trying to hit on some girls, but Bradley couldn't see Max and just went to order.
Out of the blue he felt a hand on his back and he jumped. He turned around to see who was touching him and it was Max.
“Was wondering when you'd get here…you okay,Brad? Did things go south?” His hand went a little lower and Bradley's heart rate went higher but he shook his head no, “ Come on, I'm keeping a booth,but go toward the center. If Bobby loses he'll slump at an end no matter if someone's there.”
Everyone's orders came to the table, and subtle joy came across their faces. That first cup just hit so good. Each shared whatever plans they were contemplating for a good Saturday. Each time Max and Bradley's hands touched both jumped a little but the older was the only one blushing.
After a greatly appreciated breakfast with actually pleasant company, PJ, Mocha, and Bobby went to do their own things. Max and Bradley went back to Max's dorm, and collapsed on Max's bunk.
“How is it that one can be so tired this early? Wait, Tank pissed me off so bad that it was exhausting trying not to seriously blow up especially after he started talking about you…” Bradley froze then covered his face with a pillow. He peeked from underneath a small corner.
Max was looking at him with a surprised smile,but there was a noticeable want in his eyes. He scooted a little closer but kept a respectable distance. The tension could be cut with a knife. It didn't stay in the air for long.
With a mumbled ‘fuck it’ Bradley jolted up and pulled Max into a kiss. After the shock of the sudden affection eased off, both their shoulders slacked and the kiss deepened. They parted for just a bit to catch their breath and to what felt like they were checking if they could continue or tuck their tails and run. To Bradley's relief, Max pulled him back in. He moved down to Max's neck, planted kisses ever so soft that they made him shiver. Both of their hands went after each other's shirts, trying to take them off without parting from the current attack of the neck.
Bradley kept trying to keep Max where he wanted,yet his movements were sporadic,not the fun kind of sporadic either. He kept trying to control how their makeout was to go and set the pace. Hoping it was nerves Bradley stopped and collected himself while leaning into the nook of Max's neck for a moment. Max ran a hand along his upper back in slow circles; trying his best to show compassion and to help center him.
In a fit of frustration, Bradley rolled off of Max and started cursing at himself about how something doesn't feel right. How he's supposed to be taking charge of things or he's nothing. How he was so confused with himself but being in the room with Max felt right. He covered his face trying to hide angry tears. A sudden weight to his chest made him snap out of it.
Max had put himself between his legs and laid on top of him and he finally noticed how built his body was compared to his, “Brad…has being the Dom always felt wrong to you and that if you're not on top you're not good with this?” He got a deflated nod “Would you be okay with me…taking care of YOU? Only if you'd let me...Someone who holds themselves to that high of standards deserves a bit of… pampering once in a while.”
With swift motions Max trailed his hands down starting from Bradley's sternum, pressing his thumbs in certain spots that seemed to send chills down his belly to his groin, shown by the slight jolt of his waist in his grasp. Slowly he ran his hands up to the upperclassmen's face and cradled it ever so gently. Max wanted to give him a say in how far they go and how they'll go. He wasn't going to continue unless his companion was on board.
He was about to ask again,but got pulled into another heated kiss. This time paired with grinding through their jeans. In perfect Max fashion, he jumped up really quick and ran over to lock the door after doing something to the outside knob. When he got back to the bed he was greeted by an annoyed,needy expression. He put himself back between Bradley's legs and started a new wave of kisses to the collarbone, reigniting the grinding.
Hesitantly Bradley wrapped his arms around Max's neck, still unsure how to let go. Max whispered into his ear small commands mixed with affirmations to help the older relax, and it seemed to be working. Bradley was tugging at his pants while demanding they'd come off.
“Yes, Sir…only if yours come off with em…” Max couldn't help but chuckle just a bit at how red the blush was on Bradley's cheeks.
“I've never…with a guy…h-have you?” Bradley was a little surprised when Max admitted to a high-school alcohol-fueled seven minutes in heaven, “w-well, we've gotten this far…” he slipped both of their belts off in one swoop.
Jeans hit the floor following the belts, their stunned silence at sight of each other was cut short with Max taking both of their cocks into his hand and began pumping both of them with pressure that switched up. When he lingered his thumb over Bradley's tip, he drew out a whimper that made him bite his knuckle but he pulled it away with a firm “Don't" and brought it to join it with his in between them.
Precum was now dripping from both of them. Foreheads pressed together with an occasional kiss shared while they thrusted in their shared grasp.
Bradley couldn't help but bite his lip when he wanted to ask to take it further. He didn't know how to ask. His distress could be read on his face and Max stopped to check in; he was keeping his word on taking care of him to the letter. The warmth that was brewing in him was mixing with the horniness in ways he didn't think was possible. Honestly liking it.
“M-Max…please. Please put it in. Show me how those hips work and how you don't just have good hands. Take care of me, so I can take care of you.” He spread his legs and scooted a little up on the bed.
A slightly devilish but still caring grin appeared on Max's face, and after getting the other to plead a little, he lined up with Bradley's hole and started to edge himself in. Stopping to let Bradley get used to the feeling. Once he was entirely inside, both were already panting. Max grabbed the underside of Bradley's thighs and started to move, only pulling out not even half way then thrusting back in.
His pace gradually increased. Along with it, Bradley's insecurities and bravado fell away. Repeating the younger's name in shallow breaths, his thoughts lost in a hot haze that he couldn’t speak clearly.
Max changed up his angle a bit and was now laying chest to chest with Bradley. Who was now holding him like he wasn't planning on letting him go, “I'm not going anywhere, Brad…just gonna-” in a few swift movements he had shifted them to the edge of the bunk with Bradley now straddling his lap.
The new position had Max hitting deeper inside him, stars now filled in the inside of his eyelids. This new feeling scared him,but at same time he wanted more of Max and tried to tighten himself around him. Earning a hitched moan to the side of his collarbone and fury of thrusts. The bunk was shaking and creaking paired with squishing sounds between them.
Max had a firm yet gentle grip on Brad's hips. Keeping him where he wants him,but pressed little caring swipes along his hip dips.
Bradley stuttered that he was close as he tried to hide his face in the fold of his arm, but Max stopped him.
“No, I want to see you let go…hold on to me. I got you.” Max wrapped Bradley's arms around his shoulders. They kissed as they came together in a flurry of moans and heaving breaths. Max laid Bradley down next to him as he slipped out.
They laid in silence for a few minutes neither knowing what to say. Bradley turned onto his side and reached up for Max's cheek.
“I've never felt taken care of before. I was always just supposed to be the one doing more in…everything…”take charge” as dear ol Dad would say…but that just felt RIGHT…all my time with you has felt RIGHT…th-” Bradley's little rambling was cut short by Max pulling him into a tender kiss.
“I know this'll hit your ego, but ever since our first encounter, you've always left something in me and couldn't place it. Figured that was just the presence you had with people…but as we got to know each other better…I slowly realized I wanted just you, but I didn't know how to ask you out…like maybe in a way to start…dating?” Max tried to stay sincere but a little Goof laugh slipped out and it was contagious.
The two, naked on the bed, couldn't stop laughing for a minute. Both had similar feelings but no clue how to bring it up.
After collecting himself, Bradley rolled over on top of Max and smiled. He started to play with Max's ear and laid his head on his chest, melting into him as he felt hands start to work at his lower back up. Any nerves melted away.
“Do I become your practice dummy now that I'm your boyfriend? Because it feels like you're already starting before we even clean ourselves up.” Bradley held up three fingers and slowly counted down waiting for what he just said to hit.
Max jumped up, holding onto Bradley so he wouldn't toss him off, his face lit up with an excited “really?” paired with his toothy grin. He then just melted like butter once he got a reassuring answer in the form of a kiss that ended with a nip to his bottom lip.
Once Max finally let go, Bradley turned to see the time and then looked at themselves. He slowly got up hoping he didn't have jelly legs, and suggested that they should probably get cleaned up. Maybe share a shower. To that idea he ended up in the dorm room's bathroom in a blink of an eye not even knowing he ended up there so fast.
When the water was ideal temp, Max pulled Bradley into the warm water and held him in his arms under the stream.
“Maybe we could go somewhere just for fun? Not the Bean Scene. Something off campus probably?” Max asked, rubbing his hand up Bradley's stomach and laid his head on his shoulders.
With a pleasant moan, Bradley agreed to the idea and they ran through little ideas and settled on movies and a good restaurant Bradley knew in town.
They walked straight through the main quad hand in hand. The sight got a few jaws to drop,but at the moment they didn't care. Whoever finds out will find out. Right then and there they just wanted to enjoy themselves.
They'll face any problems later.
