    The black tide swallows all.

    Phainon, prince of the fallen Aedes Elysiae, knows this well. He may have escaped its destruction with his life, but it wasn't without consequence; a corruption lingers deep within his soul, a construct of its dark tendrils and his uneasy soul.

    Its revival is possible for one man alone: Anaxagoras the Foolish, a renowned scholar, talented alchemist, and object of Phainon's affections. Convincing the professor to grant his wish is a near impossible feat, but as the only other soul he can relate to, will Anaxa fold to his request? Or will the removal of the poison be their only chance at happiness?
