After refusing Pure Vanilla Cookie's friendship rudely, Shadow Milk can't seem to forget it. He goes back to his other realm through his inky black portal and it still lingers his mind. Was he joking? Would and Ancient- the Witches' favorite really want to befriend a Beast?
Whatever. It was probably just another trick, just like before.
Shadow Milk sharply dismisses the resurfacing thoughts with a shake of his head and tries to focus on "more important" business. How will he rebuild his spire, if his power is weak now?
He thinks quietly for some time then rolls his eyes. He can think about that later. Shadow Milk summons some spell books with the remaining power and-
He had promised to let Pure Vanilla live enough to regret his words.
He scoffs in fury and opens some of the books around him. Shadow Milk closed his eyes so he could focus on the spell, but Pure Vanilla's friendship request disturbed him once again. He quickly opened his eyes, wide mouthed.
Pure Vanilla wasn't joking.
Who knows? That's him thinking.
Shadow Milk groans and summons a board as his mind is drowned in ideas. What seems to be minutes later, and Shadow Milk looks proudly at his whiteboard filled with notes, doodles, scribbles and-

Shadow Milk rolls his eyes as his once proud smile now melts into a disappointed frown. He unpins a doodle of his own Soul Jam and pins on top of Pure Vanilla's picture, hiding it. He smiles all teeth.
Heh. Great!
Days passes and Shadow Milk figures out how to rebuild his spire, as well as strengthening his powers back. And yet, that damned friendship request hasn't let him rest for a moment. He's tired of dismissing it, so he finally, finally stops to think about it.
