The show comes to an end as the 8 trainees which of course include Park Donggyu and Chen Kaiwen. Everyone is in high spirits as the audience continues to cheer for the 8 boys who secured their debut spot. Donggyu looks around him, until he spots Kaiwen. He runs up to the boy he's only shared 3 words throughout the whole time they’ve spent in the same space. But then again, having little to no interactions doesn’t stop one from having a crush on the other right?
The moment Donggyu had laid his eyes upon Kaiwen, he thought to himself,
Pretty…
From then on, Donggyu would look at Kaiwen any chance he could. Of course sometimes they’d lock eyes, to which Donggyu would quickly look away, embarrassed at getting caught. But now that the two would be debuting together, Donggyu took his chance. He taps the unknowing boy's shoulder, to which Kaiwen turns around, facing him with the prettiest smile known to man.
Donggyu stares in awe for a second before composing himself. He takes a deep breath before speaking.
“당신을 좋아해요.” He unfortunately blurts out.
Kaiwen looks at the other standing before him, noticing how red Donggyu has gotten. He takes a moment before replying.
“ 对不起，你说什么？” Kaiwen tilts his head, his smile not leaving but confusion evident.
And Donggyu wants to cry.
