" I beg of you captain Mayuri to grant me this favor " no one could imagine the prideful kuchiki Byakuya ever doing such a thing .
" I am completely aware of how imposing my favor is , and how much it must weigh on you to keep my secret "
He took a moment to breathe and look the other captain in the eyes .
" Though it brings me great humility to ask, I now find myself in a moment where I cannot proceed without your aid. I urgently seek your wisdom and support, not from weakness, but because this moment leaves me with no other path forward "
With eyes burning with shame and helplessness barely keeping his balance while white bandage is wearing his torn body, Byakuya knew that it was the only way to keep him fighting with the others and defending what shall be protected .
Mayuri Kurotsuchi eyed him with Pity that the nobleman gracely abhorred .
" Do i need to remind you that this might be more destructive than efficient ?"
Byakuya shook his head in denial, knowing very well the risks he's taking
~ Several years after the Quincy war~
Today a meeting was held by the head captain of the 13th Gotai , none of the captains were aware of the purpose of this meeting . Kyoraku Shunsui made sure that everyone was present , for whichever reason he gathered everyone ; it must be something very important .
It has been several years since the war already ended , it took a long time for the soul society to recover from all the damage. As for now everything is balanced and peaceful .
" I have gathered you today to announce a new reform concerning the ABO matters in the soul society " The head captain Kyoraku Shunsui was standing above his subordinates speaking with a tone of seriousness.
"For a long time our sub genders held a big importance and played such a huge role in our performance as Soul rippers "
A minute of speech has passed but still no big of an announcement has yet been informed. An unexpected loud thud sound of a body collapsing into the tatami mat.
Everyone's gaze met the captain on the floor clutching his midsection in pain , " captain Kuchiki.. is everything alright? " The head captain asked while taking a slow step forward.
The noble man still on his knees, felt an immense stabbing pain , and a metallic taste started gathering inside his mouth .
It was then that everything in his body collapsed , blood everywhere. It was flowing between his legs like waterfalls, it was coming out of his mouth, his head was throbbing, and the agony in his midsection was unable to bear .
The captains were quick to check on the man they were shocked by what just happened, the 5th squad captain took over and made a quick pulse examination while the poor man was screaming in pain .
"Captain Kuchiki if you can hear me would you please tell me where the pain is located ?" Hirako shinji was desperate, he didn't know the cause of his pain the man was just screaming and spilling blood everywhere, and if it continues he will die of blood loss .
" I-i .. I'm in s-so ...hah..agh...." Everyone in the room was horrified and shaken .Kuchiki Byakuya was dying in front of them because of an unknown reason ,all they see is the man drowning in his own blood , and hear his gut wrenching howls and shrieks of agony.
"Isane!"
The man was taken to the ER where Isane and her staff started the blood loose management.
"This is my first time seeing such heavy blood loose out of the battlefield..."
The nurses undressed the dying man; for better access to his body. Everyone was in a rush they needed to find the bleeding spot before Kuchiki Byakuya dries out of blood. The more they worked, the more confused they got.
"Isane-san.. Captain Kuchiki's subgender,... what is it?"
The lieutenant looked at her nurse with nervous eyes, it wasn't expected to know the 6th division Captain's subgender this way, but it was obvious he was hiding it till this day, that one specific organ is broken . His uterus exploded inside him .
" As we can see Captain Kuchiki is a Male Omega "
The staff were still working on whatever task they had in hand .
" The patient's uterus exploded due to some mysterious reason, prepare the operation room , we need an emergency intervention".
It was the most complicated and disturbing surgery that the 4th division ever handled. The condition Kuchiki Byakuya was dealing with was never registered in any medical history, his uterus's tissue was shattered as if some bomb was dropped inside his body, his vaginal canal was no less infected. To resume his sexual organs were destroyed.
By the end of the surgery, it was already the dawn of the next day . They had to spend 20 hours in the block .
" Good job everyone, let's hope Captain Kuchiki's condition remains stable "
They were exhausted physically and mentally. They nearly lost the man six times in that surgery table . Some of the nurses said that it was unbelievable that the noble man was still conscious during his organs destruction in the meeting room , some said it was a miracle that he survived at all because of the amount of blood the man lost.
It was obvious that Kuchiki Byakuya would be in coma after surgery, the 4th division informed his squad and family about his condition, Rukia didn't take the news pretty well nor did her husband ; they were in the living world celebrating Ichika's birthday with the Kurosaki family. It was shocking ,Rukia couldn't calm down, her brother was hospitalized because of and unexplained blood loose while in the gotai 13 meeting ,( she had to excuse herself from intending the meeting , instead her lieutenant covered her ) , they told her he was under high observation and in a coma at the intensive care unit( ICU).
They had to rush back to the soul society, she kept Ichika with Ichigo and Orihime . Rukia was frustrated because she didn't expect such a thing to ever happen .
Three weeks later , Kuchiki Byakuya regained his consciousness, but in the most traumatic way possible. With a tube all the way down his throat and many other things he was hooked to . Everything hurts so bad ,his head was pounding , his eyes were dry ....
Some nurse was in his room that moment to check on his vitals, when she caught him waking up , she called the head doctor and started looking after the noble man .
It took some time for him to recognize his surroundings , the white ceiling , the bed , the equipment and Isane Kotetsu . She gave him a bit of time before she began doing her job . Kuchiki Byakuya was getting more and more mentally unstable, he wasn't taking himself laying in a hospital bed very well .
" Captain Kuchiki Byakuya, you're in a hospital now , you've been unconscious for some time , but you're safe now , can you hear me ?"
Byakuya nodded slowly at her , he needed more details . He can't remember anything; what's the reason of him being here ?
" Great, now do you remember your name?"
He nodded again
" Do you know which day it is ? "
He shook his head in denial.
" It's totally fine, I'm going to take the endotracheal tube off your throat for better communication "
She approached him and started with some procedures first then she asked Byakuya to take a deep breath and pulled the tube quickly but gently , it triggered some coughing for the man so Isane comforted him while asking him to take small regular breath until it was regularly .
"W-water..."
His throat was sore and dry . Isane must have known it ,because she handled him the cup immediately.
It took quite a long time for checking vitals , pulse and all the other stuff . It was tolerable frankly because Byakuya himself wanted to calm down and register everything at once before some huge switch can make him unstable. By the view from the window ,the 6th squad captain thought that it was pretty much noon , he wondered how many hours he had been out for .
" Everything seems stable so far "
She looked at him straight in the eyes with seriousness and concern
" Captain Kuchiki, I need to deliver you some news " .
