Chapter 1: FOUND

Chapter Text

It was during one of AM's sessions of torturing the five remaining humans. It was as harsh as usual with the haterage the AI felt always being present. It was the same old same old to the humans. None knew when this one in particular would be over. As usual time felt as it had no meaning and the five were scraping for any nutrients that could be found. AM enjoying toying with the five.
Today's misery was incredibly strong winds with no natural cause. The five would walk forward only to be pushed back when the wind increases causing for some frustration between the five. Yet there was a source of food on a small table. It definitely wouldn't be enough for the five but what could they do? They did not have any other options so they devised a plan of sticking to the right wall with one in front of another. Did it work at all? In a way it did but as always AM quite enjoyed seeing the five thinking they we're making progress when they really weren't. Thus, the wind increases greatly. To the point the group was thrown back all the way into a scrap pile of old computer carcasses. "Damnit. We'll be at this all day long if we continue this." Replied Gorrister to being flung back. "What else could we even do? By all means if there was something else I'd be doing it." Ted remarked on their current state. Benny was already attempting to try again. While the other three we're discussing ideas and cussing out AM. Ellen had found someone strange in the pile of old computers. It wasn't a computer but it was still quite beaten up. As if it had fallen from a great hight. Ellen pulled it out of the other scraps. "Do you think this could be anything?" Ellen asked to any that would respond and Ted responded: "There is nothing that would be of use from this junk." Nimdok took better notice than Ted to the machinery. "I've definitely never seen a model such as that. It seems quite. Humanoid." It indeed did. Not by much but it had the frame work of a rather simple design. It had a screen for a head which was even weirder than it's framing. It had mostly thin metal and wiring connecting it's arms and legs to it's main body. Being a few triangle shapes shoved together with one long pole that joined the upper small chest area and what looked adjacent to a pelvis on the bottom. It was a weird build for that time frame. It was again badly damaged. Perhaps not even repairable. Despite this three symbols were on the back of it's upper torso. A one and the letters MN. "Seems like this is the first of it's model too. See. It has the number one on it's back." Ellen told the rest of the group her small knowledge about this bot.

(And this was the farthest I got today ;-;)
