Summary
Miles Zhou is desperate. A habit of skipping class has left him THIS close to getting kicked out of college and sent packing to his family’s rice farm out in the sticks. He’ll do anything to pass Intro to Horticulture and keep his cushy student life. Getting on his knees and begging his cold intellectual of a professor for academic mercy is obviously on the table. But things don’t quite go as expected.
Professor Pomeroy has an… interesting hobby. For extra credit, Miles will have to spend the next few weeks laboring at the man’s research orchard. The topic of said research?
Apples.
“Mr. Zhou. Give me your word you’ll never touch the fruit of that tree.”
Unfortunately, Miles has never been good at keeping his word.
