Nagito barged into Hajime's dorm.
"N-Nagito?! What do you want?!"
"Hajime! We're back!"

"More like goodbye despair. Or maybe its more accurate to say we're saying hello to goodbye despair again!"
"Nagito what the fuck are you talking about?"
"Did you watch the nintendo direct this morning?"
"No the switch 2 is overpriced garbage with no games"
"That might be so Hajime, but they announced a new entry to certain detective/puzzle game series that's also coming out to steam!"
"They're making a sequel to Raincode?"
"No"
"Zero Escape?"
"No"
"Somninium Files?"
"After Nirvana Initiative? I sure hope not! Oh wait didn't they come out with No sleep for Kaname date earlier this year? I still need to try that"
"What's the new game Nagito?!?!"
"Danganronpa 2x2!!"
"Th-They're remaking our game?!"
"That's right! With 200% more Komahina moments I'm sure!"
"They're adding stuff?"
"A whole new storyline actually"
"Really?!?!?" Hajime was feeling Hope in his heart "M-Maybe we can save Chiaki this time!!"
"Technically she's wasn't real in that game, so there was nothing to save"
"Well she's real to me! Even if everything was just fiction, the pain of losing her was real!"
"Whoa calm down there Hajime, we're glazing dr2, not v3"
"Sorry Sorry... so we're really going to have a new story huh? That's good. Dealing with Kazuichi, Sonia, and Akane in the later half of the game was kind of annoying. I didn't do their FTE's I just went straight to bed every time there was free time"
"Yeah they're fucking cooked in the remake lmao"

"W-Well since v3 had them it would make sense for 2x2 to have them too..." Hajime blushed "W-Wait a second..."
The reserve course student put his thinking cap on. He got on a snowboard in his mind and started calculating mathematical quantum physics in his head. His big fucking brain was on the verge of uncovering something mind-blowingly incredible.
"Holy fucking shit Nagito... 2 times 2... is FOUR"
"Yes and an octagon has 8 sides... you're gonna remember that this time right?"
"Nagito could this game secretly be Danganronpa 4?!?!?"
"Hahaha that would be an interesting development! Or maybe 2x2 means 2102!"
"Tsumugi would be happy about that"

Tsumugi barged into Shuichi's room.
"Tsumugi?! what are you doing here?!" Shuichi screamed
"HAH! I told you! I fucking told you!" Tsumugi gloated "We're back! We're so fucking back! Danganronpa lives on forever!!"
"Well yeah that's fine as long as its virtual characters and not real people..."
"Whatever happened to fiction being real to you?"
"How many times do we have to I have explain this? V3 isn't our world, I mean...the killing game of v3 is its own fiction separate from the real world in v3, that's also separate from the real world the player lives in-"
"Yeah yeah whatever I'm going to create several more komahina fics, because ao3 definitely needs more of that now!"

Back in Hajime's dorm Nagito admitted something personal "You know ever since I broke up with Sans Undertale, I was kinda depressed. I thought I'd never see him again but then Deltarune happened. It felt like he was moving forward in life while I was stuck behind"
"He doesn't even have a big role in deltarune"
"But now that we have Dr2x2 it feels like I'm moving forward again! I feel hope!"
"Wait but why did they not do Dr1 first?" Hajime asked "I was kinda hoping to see Byakuya as an actual rival, or maybe letting Taka have an actual arc with dealing with Mondo's death"
"They should remake Dr1 but add the monokubs" Nagito joked
"Heh who would be brain damaged enough to write a story like that? Hey I wonder if spike Chunsoft can really do this without Kodaka. Actually considering the garbage stories in literally all the DR games maybe that's for the best."
"Oh come on Hajime. You can't tell me didnt you enjoy them. Even if you think DR stories suck, you have to admit the whole experience was a wild ride.
"I guess that's true. Actually I kinda respect the games for going balls-to-the-wall-retarded with it's ideas"
"Hahaha me too. That's why I can't stop thinking about them even after all these years"
Hajime poured a cup of orange juice for him and Nagito "Lets have a toast! to the Danganronpa!"
"To the Danganronpa!" Nagito and Hajime tapped their drinks together and gulped down the juice. Then they had say gex until Danganronpa 2x2 came out.
