Summary
Hongjoong thought moving into his late grandparents’ house in a quiet town would give him the peace he needed to finish his next novel. The neighbors are polite, if a little strange. The town looks like a Halloween postcard, if you ignore the hive in the attic and the church bells tolling at midnight. His gorgeous next-door neighbor Seonghwa offers him tea on his first day, and it almost feels… safe.
But there are noises at night. Smiles that linger too long. Children wearing matching stone pendants. Whispers about a sacrifice he doesn’t understand. And when Hongjoong stumbles across one of Seonghwa’s “siblings” covered in blood under the harvest moon, he realizes this isn’t just small-town eccentricity.
