Zam felt the breeze through her hair, it felt nice to be outside for a bit.
She looked down at Nick, he stared out into the sunrise, it was a really pretty view. She was a bit tired though, considering the fact they had woken up early to see it.
She felt happy being next to Nick again, they didn't get to see eachother much as they were on different server. She wondered on how she manganed to convince Minute to get him on the server, but that was for another time.
"I missed you dude." Said Nick, she smiled in response. They could hear the pure joy in his voice. It comforted her a bit. This was the right decision.
"I missed you too Nick." She planted a kiss on his forehead, hearing a giggle come from him. He adjusted his glasses, looking up at Zam.
It was special to have this one day. One day to have him in her arms again. They knew she would get sad over this sooner or later, but she had no need to worry about that now.
Nick picked himself off the ground, stretching before holding out a hand to Zam. "Ay man, why don't we do something fun?" Zam accepted his aid, getting up aswell.
"Yeah, of course man!" She made their way to the house, Nick following right behind.
She went to change, leaving Nick at the entrance. He looked around the place, it was pretty neat. Nicer than anything he'd see on Baddie SMP anyway.
They weren't really know for building, or anything really. He supposed Jarvis was okay at it. He sat atop a chest, not bothering to look inside it. What would even be in there?
He missed Jarvis, though not as much as Zam. They could hang out whenever they wanted. Him and Zam? Not so much.
Zam walked out, presenting herself in a nice blue dress. Nick took notice of it, complimenting them immediately.
"You look great man." He played with his collar. He worried his tone didn't come out right, but Zam seemed to understand it. She always did.
"You think?" She grinned, pulling Nick up into a hug. He stumbled a bit, before hugging back tightly.
"Of course man!" He pulled away, staring at her face lovingly, she was so perfect. He grabbed her hand and led them out the door.
Im hindsight, maybe Zam should've led the way, she knew it way more than he did.
"Take us away Zam!" He stated, receiving a small chuckle from Zam. She was fond of him. They led him to a random direction, seeing where it takes them.
Zam took notice of Nick's behavior, she wouldn't say he was particularly different. Though she noticed he was more aware of his surroundings.
"Zamm! Zam!" He heard a voice call out, tightening his grip on Zams hand. Zam looked up, seeing Pangi run up to her.
"Hey!" He waved, glancing over at Nick. "Who's this?" He asked, pointing at Nick.
"Nick." He responded, examining Pangi thoroughly. He had a plan. Though it seemed like Zam was catching on, gripping his hand a bit tighter before letting go.
Pangi seemed a bit suprised at the new face. Though she didn't say anything, he moved his body towards Zam, beginning a conversation with her.
Nick tuned them out, and focused on Pangis features. He was a bit upset that he couldn't see Pangis eyes colour through the glasses, bit nothing a bit of guessing couldn't fix.
He got bored at staring at Pangi, and her little conversation with Zam started feeling too long. He started focusing on his environment again, seeing a blue orchid.
It was a bit odd, you don't typically see those outside of swamps— or at least that what he was told.
He plucked it from the ground, stuffing it in his pocket. He went back and stood next to Zam, who seemed to done with their conversation with Pangi.
"Nick?" He heard from Zam, facing her. She nodded her head towards a direction, signaling for them to leave.
"It was nice meeting ya man." Said Pangi, smiling brightly at Nick. He forces back out a smile as he walked away with Zam.
"What was that about?" Nick questioned, tilting his head slightly. Zam turned to him, shrugging him off.
"It's nothing. Just some server stuff, you get it!" They smiled, and he could feel his worries go away. He could trust her. Right?
As he walked with them, they eventually landed on a plains biome. Zam sat down facing the sun, it reminded him of her so well.
He sat behind her, pulling her closer and resting his head on her shoulder. He wrapped his hands around her waist and began to speak.
"So, what's it like here?" He asked, gliding his fingers through their hair.
"I- it's complicated Nick. Next time, please." She said, hearing an audible sigh from Nick.
"Alright, alright!" He said, rolling his eyes playfully.
The two went quiet, and Nick was nervous. He wanted to bring up staying, but what could he say? He didn't want to intrude here, he didn't belong.
"Nick, I'm so glad you're here." She smiled, leaning back and looking up at him. He looked down at her, cupping her face.
"I'm glad I'm here too." His eyes shined brightly, "Speaking of being here," He glanced around, nervous of others seeing them.
"Do you think I could stay?"
He was suprised to here a laugh from Zam, wiping a tear away. Was she serious?
"Nick! I love you, but of course not!"
"Why?" He seemed upset, he wanted to stay with them. He wanted to be happy with her.
"You don't.. Belong here!" They said reluctantly. It sounded wrong.
"What? Why?"
She got up, facing Nick. "This isn't your home server Nick, Baddie SMP is. You aren't supposed to stay. It's going to hurt you more than you think."
He looked up in suprise, holding the orchid tight in his hands. "No it won't Zam. I'll be fine."
She sighed, shaking her head. "Even if you could stay, we already have teams, you have no where to go."
"I'll stay with you!" He argured back. Slightly upset at Zam.
"Nick," she placed a hand on his shoulder, kneeling down. "I'm sorry. There's nothing we can do!"
He looked up at them annoyed, "You know me dude. You know what I can do. Why can't I shift into someone here? What about that one chick?"
"Nick! You won't be doing that." She said sternly. "You're going to get hurt."
"I won't. I promise." He stared into Zams eyes once more. Appreciating her beauty. Maybe for the last time in a while.
Zam pulled him into an embrace, giggling with excitement, they couldn't be mad. Never at Nick.
It was felt relieving to finally be happy again.
Happiness wasn't common, but it was always there when he was with Zam.
