Work Text:

—I don't understand~

—Manquer spontané, it seems that you fell into this world by crossing that mirror.

—Aaah, like in the movies, huh? How funny! Haha, surely you must be just as interesting as Seagull-chan.

—I'm flattered, manquer, but you should be worried about falling into an all-boys academy. There are some... not very nice guys. I would like to say that being the female version of Monsieur Provocateur, knows how to scare little fish.

—I have no problem. My sis and I used to bother the perverts who approached us. I kind of missed those days. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to repeat it.

A maniacal laugh escapes Flora's lips effortlessly, almost raspy, similar to Floyd's. Rook maintains his complacent smile, while simultaneously climbing down from the tree.

A moment ago, Rook was admiring the students' interactions around campus. Suddenly, something fell from the sky near him. His eyes instantly searched for the fallen figure. He was pleasantly surprised to see a girl similar to the Leech among the bushes. After she recovered from the shock and noticed his presence, the two introduced themselves and began getting to know each other.

She told him about her life and how she came to this place with a calmness that seemed alien to her strange situation. She told him about her life and how she came to this place with a calmness that seemed alien to her strange situation. From her explanation, Rook surmised that she was from another world; like the prefect of Ramshackle, but swap gender.

—If I may be so bold, manquer spontané I can escort you to Octavinelle's dormitory for your convenience.

—But Azul will be there~ he'll make me work, and I don't want that right now.

—Didn't you say before that you missed capturing deviants who bothered you? Remember, this is an all-boys academy. And what place can bring all kinds of students together? Doesn't that sound tempting?

—Oh... Now that you say it like that, it's true~ Plus, I can see Jada as a boy, I'm quite curious! Fine, guide me, Seagull-kun.

Rook smiles delightedly, but when feels Flora's weight on him, he freezes for a few seconds. She's taller than him and, besides, is a girl. Her approach unnerves him a bit.

He tries to hide the hint of discomfort and guide her through the academy.

—It feels strange seeing so many boys. Azul would want to hide in a cauldron if she saw this, haha.

—It's a beautiful sight, manquer spontané. The Azul of this world would also have a weakness for women.

—I wouldn't be surprised. If it weren't for the contracts, they wouldn't be so trusting.

Flora holds onto Rook's arm; that allowed the blond to keep her under control so she doesn't walk into other hallways and wander around. The boys gasp at the sight of her, as she looks too similar to the Leech twins, and due to their fame, few dared to approach her despite her being a girl.

—Rook?

—Roi du poision! How nice to see you.

Vill comes out of the hall of mirrors, looks between Rook and Flora, especially at the latter, reminding her of a certain troubled guy..

—You're related to the Leech brothers, I suppose...

—You could say so, you look a lot like Betta senpai~ It's funny, you haven't changed at all!

Flora bursts out laughing, causing all the boys staring at her to back away. Despite their curiosity, they wouldn't risk their lives for another Leech.

—Forgive the confusion, Vill. Manquer spontané's disoriented in this school, and I'm trying to take her to Azul for safekeeping.

—If that's the case, I don't see a problem.

Vill feels a de javu at the sight of the tall girl, but pushes it aside, thinking she only hangs out with Floyd.

—See you, betta senpai!

—Mn, yeah...

Vill almost sighs, watching Rook lead the eel girl toward the hall of mirrors. For some reason, he feels the school will feel more chaotic in the coming days.

—Manquer spontané, excuse me, but you said Vill resembles the Vill from your world. I'm curious about that.

—Well~ haha, they're both very similar. They have the same hairstyle and uniform's type. I always admired that about betta-chan, she's very beautiful. I guess the only difference is that she has softer features and is a little short, but still tall.

Rook smiles, dazed, for a moment imagining the female version of Vill. Whether male or female, he continues to steal hearts with his charm; including his own. However, Rook can't help but feel more curious about the roles she'll have taken on. Since she's a lady, he senses she'll have played other types of characters that would be just as interesting as his Vill. His heart beats fast just thinking about the possibilities!

—Seagull senpai, come on, come on!

—How could I refuse such a lovely invitation?

They both move animatedly toward Octavinelle's mirror. Some curious people still have their eyes on Flora, but she's animated enough to notice.

As they touch the mirror, another person suddenly appears... a girl.

—Ah... Flora...?

The girl gracefully steps out of the mirror and immediately joins Flora. Rook's eyes widen in surprise. The boys around him almost make a fuss.

—Jada! I missed you~ Haha.

Flora wraps her arms around her sister, Jada strokes her head, maintaining her businesslike smile before looking at Hunt.

—I see we're in a complicated situation, would you mind explaining?

—It would be an insult to my principles if I didn't, manquer prémédite. Look...

Despite his surprise, Rook quickly catches on and recognizes her as the female version of Jade: Jada. He gives her a brief but efficient explanation. If she's like Jade, she'll quickly understand.

—So, we're in a world that's gender-inverted from ours. All our acquaintances here are guys, including us.

—That's fun to think about. Jada, let's go to the dorm! I feel like squashing the first fish that comes near me.

Jada continues to stroke her sister's hair tenderly, and Flora laughs with an intensity that sends shivers down the spines of anyone who passes by the hall of mirrors. Rook smiles, delighted by the twins' reunion.

—It's not a bad idea. Besides, it would be nice if we stayed there until we could return to our own world.

—I'll escort you to the dorm entrance, mesdames. I couldn't rest if I knew you didn't run into the roi de l'effort.

Jada nods in agreement, and Flora continues to laugh excitedly. Rook steps aside so they can cross into the mirror first, then he enters.

—Get out of the way!

—Away!

—Looks like some of the boys left without fulfilling the terms of the deal.

—Or didn't pay~ I was waiting for this moment!

Rook steps back when sees the sisters smiling darkly, confident that they'll both catch the rebels.

As soon as the Heartslabyul students approach the mirror, Flora puts her arm around one of the boys' necks, and Jada stops the other by kicking his leg, causing him to fall to the ground.

—You can't run away without paying.

Jada crouches down and presses the boy's head against the ground, her knee crushing his back with a rudeness that contrasts with her gentle smile. Flora begins to choke the boy in her arms until he turns purple. Rook lets out a moved sigh when he sees that they look similar to the Leech brothers.

—No matter the package, the charm is the same.

On the other hand, the Leech twins, who were supposed to catch the cheaters, approach, confused by the girls.

—Hey! What are you doing?

—It's curious...

Floyd is a little disconcerted when he sees some girls at the academy, while Jade, notices the resemblance between them. Before doubt can invade them, Rook approaches them with a big smile and fake tears from the shock of the encounter.

—Monsieur provocateur! Monsieur premeditation! It's a visual delight to see the Leechs reunited in a work situation. I'm very moved.

—What does this mean, Seagull-kun?

Floyd seems annoyed that his prey was taken away, but his interest in the girls neutralizes it. So Hunt takes it upon himself to satisfy that curiosity before his mood changes.

—Do you remember Yuu?

—The Ramshackle prefect? Are you implying they're from another world?

Jade strokes his chin thoughtfully, instantly understanding what he's trying to say. Rook applauds at his cleverness, almost fascinated by his cunning.

—As sharp as ever, monsieur premeditation. It seems these ladies have been drawn to this world by an unknown force... And as you may have noticed, they're similar to you both.

—Uh-huh~ Aren't they like my sisters from another world, are they?

—That would be sweet, but no. They're from a world where everyone we know is gender-reversed. They're practically you, but a female version.

Both brothers' eyes widen in astonishment. For a few minutes, they struggle to understand what that means. Even Jade begins to think seriously, and Floyd struggles to express himself.

Meanwhile, Jada takes charge of knocking out the boy beneath her and then picks him up. Flora holds the boy in her arms for a while longer, but due to lack of air, he faints. She lets out a frustrated sigh, then picks him up like a sack of potatoes and approaches them with her sister.

—Aaah~ It's great to see Jada as a boy, is very cute.

Flora immediately smiles excitedly upon seeing Jade; he's a few inches taller than her. The same thing happens with Floyd toward Jada, but her attention falls on Jade, almost looking at him with admiring eyes.

Jade is still somewhat bewildered by the sight, but forces himself to react and accept the female Floyd's compliments.

—It touches me to know you still loves me as a brother.

—Why wouldn't I? You're my twin.

Flora leaves the unconscious boy on the ground. Jade's eyes follow her, but suddenly feels her lunge at him, so he has to catch her to keep her from falling.

—Uh, I wanted to throw you down. You're still Jada, after all.

—Sorry, sis, it'll be hard for you.

Flora pouts, but doesn't let him go. Jade takes care to hold her tightly. It's been a while since he's held Floyd like this, he's forgotten how comforting it felt. Although still baffled by how surreal everything seems, he doesn't mind having a loving Floyd around; can get used to it.

Jade glances at Floyd. He's also hugging Jade, or "Jada," while she happily strokes his hair.

Meanwhile, Rook smiles, relieved that the meeting went well. He decides it's time to leave. So, he says goodbye to the Leech twins and returns to the mirror.

When they're alone, someone approaches them, almost incredulous at the sight.

—W...What's this...?

Blue looks at Floyd and Jade, then at the girls in their arms, who appear to be some sort of Jade and Floyd 2.0.

—Azul!

—Hello, Prefect.

Both girls greet him happily, but with that hint of mockery that characterizes the Leechs, Azul is slow to react.

—Floyd, Jade, you never told me you had sisters... or cousins.

—We do too, but that's not the case.

Jade takes Flora from his arms. Floyd still hasn't let go of Jada, however, Jada doesn't seem bothered by it.

The girl who looks like Floyd approaches Azul and wraps her arms around him, almost squeezing him.

—Uh-Uh!

—Tell me, Azul, are there any other annoying guys? I can take care of them.

—W..Well... There were some guys at table three. It seems they smuggled alcohol in without authorization... And they're trying to sell it around here.

—Then I'll come! Guy, come with me!

—My name's Floyd.

—And I'm Flora. Let's go!

Floyd doesn't seem all that interested, but when Flora approaches to drag him away, he finally agrees to let go of Jada and follow her back to the dorm, giggling. Leaving Azul with Jada and Jade.

—Can you explain?

—Apparently, female versions of us came into this world, Azul.

—We have no idea why we're here, but we intend to help until we can return. With our Azul, we also have a business at the school. I suppose it's the same as here.

Azul finds it hard to believe this, but remembering Flora almost squeezing him in her arms, and seeing the unconscious boy in Jada's arms, he decides to believe them for now.

—Fine... I'll give you both a private room, since you're girls. Wouldn't you mind wearing the boys' uniform?

—I don't think it'll be a problem; we'd be happy to participate.

Jada smiles with an elegant malice that imitates Jade quite well. Azul lets out a sigh and nods in agreement.

—Okay, Jade, take care of taking...

—Jada Leech, I assume you're Azul.

—Yes, miss Jada. Jade, see to it that you get clothes in her size, then get organized to run the Monster Lounge. I believe you have the same skills as my colleagues, this won't be difficult for you.

—Of course, we'll take care of any inconvenience.

Jada smiles confidently. Jade carries the boy Flora abandoned, then leaves with Jada, dragging the cheaters. Despite Azul telling them to go to the dorms, they both went to lock the boys up.

At the same time, soon sees Flora and Floyd dragging a dejected group in the same direction as their siblings.

—Well, I guess I'll have more workers. They don't look like they'll be here for that long... I should take advantage of this opportunity and get more clients with this.

If word gets out that two girls are staying at Octavinelle for a while, several guys will come to take a look. And if they both have the same gift for manipulation as the male siblings, he'll be able to make more deals and money in no time.

The problem would be the perverts. Azul trusts they can both defend themselves; seen they're very strong.

—"But I'm worried about them... I should ask Jade and Floyd to keep an eye on them."

The boys instantly synced with the sisters, so if anyone tries to bother them, he trusts them to help.

—Okay, I'll have to talk to the principal about this, then I'll see how I can take advantage of these visits...
