Chapter Text

Mr.Forkle sighed, “We must hurry, you kids are going to be late.”

Sophie sat up and tried to rub the sleep out of her eyes, “We have somewhere to be?”

The man nodded, “Yes we do, now get dressed Miss Foster and meet me downstairs.” And with that, Mr.Forkle turned and left the room.

Sophie got up and got dressed into one of her less fitted shirts and pants and began to brush her hair.When Sophie opened the door, she ran into a wall of muscle. “Ugh! Sandor, you don’t need to lock me in my room you know!”

“My apologies Miss Foster.” Sondor moved out of the way and followed her when she started down the stairs.

The first thing Sophie saw when she made it downstairs was the mass amount of people there. There were her friends, her parents, Mr.Forkle, Bronte, Alden, Della, and all of the bodyguards. Yes, there had been more in there before, but it was still a lot on her standards.

“So, why did you want us to meet here again?” Keefe asked as he stood up from the couch.

Bronte held a maroon crystal in his hand, “We have some people you guys need to meet, I will go collect them with Mr.Forkle and we will return here.”

“I want to go!” All of the kids yelled.

Mr. Forkle sighed, “Yes, we understand that you all want to go, but we don’t want your bodyguards to scare them.”

“Then take us without them,” Dex calmly put out, earning a round of “No” from the bodyguards and adults.

Bronte slowly nodded his head, “I guess we can take two of you without bodyguards. But,” he added when the bodyguards started to argue, “they will have to listen to our every command.”

“Can I go then?” Sophie questioned.

Sandor sighed, “Miss Foster, I understand that you go on every other mission, but you are not known for following rules.”

Keefe chuckled, “Looks like I’m not coming.”

“Could I go?” Dex asked.

Lovise nodded her head, “If they will, I will let you, as long as you listen to them.”

Dex nodded eagerly, “I’ll listen.”

Mr. Forkle smiled at Dex, “So, Dex is coming and much to Sandor’s dismay, I believe that Miss Foster should come with us.” Sandor grumbled some goblin curses, but didn’t argue.

Bronte sighed, “So we have our four, I will bring them back here with our guests.” Then Mr. Forkle and Bronte grabbed Dex and Sophie’s hands and were whisked away into the light.

“Children, come, we have a place to be,” Wu said calmly as he interrupted their training.

“We do? Where?” Skylor asked as she walked over to the old man.

“Somewhere that will take a decent amount of time to get to. So, quickly pack and come with me.” Wu instructed them all.

Pixal walked over to Lloyd, “Any idea where he wants us to go?”

The green ninja just shook his head, “No, sorry Pix.” Lloyd turned towards his room and went to pack. Pixal sighed as she went to pack her own things. When the ninja, Skylor and Astra included, were all packed they met up with Wu at the gate of the Monastery.

“We have a long journey to get to our meeting point, so come, we must ride the dragons,” Wu said, hopping on Zanth. Nya and Sora rode Jiro, Wyldfyre and Kai rode Heatwave, Cole and Frak joined Wu on Zanth, Lloyd and Pixal went with Skylor on her elemental dragon, and Arin and Jay went on Astra’s elemental dragon.

Jay and Arin decided it was a good idea to sing The Chicken Wing Song at the top of their lungs the entire trip. It took all of Astra’s restraint not to throw them off of her dragon.

Kai was calmly asking Wyldfyre about her and Roby. Wyldfyre was blushing intently as she described his last message to her.

Sora was telling Nya about her old inventions from Imperium. Nya, being the night owl she is, was nodding at Sora, but was clearly almost asleep.

Lloyd was singing along with Arin and Jay, while Pixal and Skylor were chatting about clocks.

Wu was telling Cole and Frak some stories about Cole’s mother, when they apparently reached their destination.

“Students!” Wu hollered at them, “it is right below us!”

Jay, Arin, and Lloyd were still singing at the top of their lungs. So as a way to get two of them to stop, Astra let her elemental dragon dissapear and Arin and Jay were screaming instead of singing. As Astra fell she heard laughing coming from Heatwave. Astra wasn’t mean, so she reformed her dragon so she and the boys would land on it.

The rest of them landed in a boring, normal way and got off to see four fancy dressed people.

Of course, the first person to talk was Jay, “Astra, next time warn me before you decide to get rid of your dragon. Also, who the fuck are these people?”

“Language!” Zane said.

Wu chuckled as he walked over to the rest of the group, “This is why I have brought you, you 13 will be going with them to their world.”

“But,” Frak said, “I thought that all of the realms merged.”

"Yes, they did Frak, but as I said earlier, they are from a different world, not realm.”

"Ok, I think I get it.” Frak leaned over and whispered in Arin’s ear low enough that they are the only ones who heard, “I don’t get it.”

Wu nodded and turned to the elves, “Please introduce yourselves to my students, I don’t have the mental capacity for it right now.”

“I am Mr. Forkle,” he said chuckling, “This is Councilor Bronte, Dex, and Sophie.”

Wyldfyre rolled her eyes, “Those names are BOR-ING!!”

Kai quickly put his hand over her mouth, “She doesn’t mean that.”

She managed to squirm away from him, “Yes I do!”

Sora rolled her eyes, “Shut it Wyldfyre.”

“Fine,” Wyldfyre grumbled.

“So, you guys are coming with us?” Sophie asked.

Nya shrugged her shoulders, “Why would we know? Ask him.” Nya pointed her thumb at Wu.

Before Wu could answer, Jay put in, “Can we go anywhere but here to discuss? We are in the Realm of Madness and we flew over the Administration building. I don’t want them to find me. ‘Cause, you know, they will kill me and anyone associated with me if they find us. And even though my soul is still shattered, I still care about you guys.”

“Don’t worry Jaybird,” Cole put a hand on his shoulder, “we will leave as soon as Wu gives us the all clear.” Jay nodded at that.

“And to answer Sophie’s question, yes. We all are.” Wu said getting back on track.

“So what I’m getting here, is that we are going to follow complete strangers to a different place, and be okay with it?” Arin asked.

“Precisely,” Wu said.

“Why not, something strange always has to happen to us,” Zane agreed.

“So are we going or not?” Wyldfyre angrily asked.

“We’re going, let’s hurry,” Sora said.

“Sophie, how strong is your concentration?” Mr. Forkle asked.

“If they help, I should be able to take 5, maybe 6 of them,” she answered.

He sighed, “Dex, if I send the ones with the best concentration, how many could you take?”

“Probably 2,” he answered unsurely.

“I could take 3 with the least concentration,” Bronte said.

“Then I’ll take the last 4,” Mr. Forkle said.

“What does that mean?” Jay asked.

“Who has the best concentration?” Wu asked.

“Not the Walkers,” Kai muttered.

“You are so on later, just you wait!” Astra said.

“You lot! Focus for a minute,” Wu commanded.

Astra glared at her brother-in-law, “Heard that Fire Face? You need to take a chill pill.”

“More like you need to,” Kai muttered.

Cole punched each of their shoulders hard enough to make them shut up, but not enough to bruise. He earned glares from the two.

They all got figured out and light leapt away.
