  Summary

  Welcome to Hogwarts 2025!

  It's September 1st! And that means it's time for the newest Hogwarts students to pack their trunks and make sure their animals are ready to board the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

  On September 1st after you’ve taken the boats across the lake, you will be greeted by the Deputy Headmaster in the foyer.

  As your name is called, please come up to the sorting hat to be sorted into your new house, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor or Ravenclaw.

  This event, while Harry Potter themed, is open to all fandoms and ships. You will need to sign up prior to the event going live on 9/1/25 to participate.

  On Sunday, September 1st at 1 p.m. EST, for those who have signed up for this writing event, you will need to gather in the live chat room. I will spin the wheel (acting as the sorting hat) and each member will be sorted into a Hogwarts House. Once you have been sorted, you will be added to a private thread that is your house's common room. Once inside, you will have access to a list of prompts that only those sorted in your house will see. Please choose a prompt from the list to use in your fic.
