Rimuru and the others were siting and waithing on Diablos report after investagating a rumor that Souei hade heard a bit about from some of the merchans coming into town. While they were waithing they discused what the rumor could be about. When he finaly returned he informed tham that there was a rumor that a stong hero hade just ben soumoned that could defet demon lord Rimuru. Diablos was furioud while seying it but hade direct instrouctions from Rimuru to not kill enyone. Rimuru was unsure about the rumors but not that wourid becaus there hade ben simular rumors before and he defeted them easyely. He desided to send Souei to spy on them and estamete there straingt.
The meating ended late att night so Rimuru desided to head to his room and relax. When he hade settled in Diablos entered his room and asked if all his needs were met. Rimuru unsure about what Diablos ment asked "what?" Diablos specifide that he ment all of sexual needs were met and oferd to turn into a girl for him if they weren't. Rimuru extremly caught off guard ebruptly sed "NO I dont need any of that". Diablos sadly exepted his anser and went to his own room.
The next morning Souei came back and reported that the new hero may be strong but not as strong as Lord Rimuru. The hero dos have a special skill that stopes his componens special skills. But Souei dos not think its strong enuf to stop Rimuru and Diablos askes if he can be alowed to go and stop the hero before he starts his journy tords Tempest. Rimuru denise it and tel's them to stay put and that they will del whit him when the times comes but not in this moment and that they need more information on his skills befor they can launch an atak.
During lunch time Milim comes to visit and askes if Rimuru has heard the absurd rumors that there is a hero that can defet him. Milim is laughing so hard that she falls to the ground while telling him this. She things its so funy that a puny litel hero thinks he can defete the demon lord Rimuru. When she is done laghing Rimuru askes her if the only reson she came to Tempest was to lagh abot the roumors. Milim tells him that there is actualy one other reson she is there it is to tell him that there is son to be a new demon lord. Rimuru is shocked to hear that there is going to be a new demon lord and Milim tells him that the person trying to becom a demon lord wants to start a war with Tempest to show that he is wourty to becom a demon lord. Diablos and shino that were present for the conversation askes if they can kill the person that is trying to becom a demon lord befor he starts the war. Milim imformes them that there istent enuf time for that and that she has alredy gaterd a army of over 20 000 and that they are alredy on there way to Tempest.
When Rimuru herd that information he gatherd everone to diskus how they would del with the potential thret. During the meting they desided that the best way to del with the army is to meat them half way so it tackes them longer to recuest help and no destruction happens to Tempest. After that they sent Souei and the others to spy on there attack strategy. Benimaru slame his fist on the table and sed.
Benimaru - Those bastards dare to trethen my lord, they will pay for bad mothing lord Rimuru.
Rimuru - Calm down Benimaru dont get to angry we need to have a plan or the people of Tempest might get hurt or killed. "Raphael do you have eny information on this 'new demon lord'.
Raphael - I just have a slimer of information, do you want me to tell it to you?
Rimuru - yes!
Raphael - she is a half vampier half human that has the abilety to mind control those with weak wils, thats all i know.
Rimuru - Its not much but thanks for the information.
Eftersom it was probebly going to tacke some hours for Souei and the others to gather the information they put the meting on hold.
While the meting was on hold Rimuru desided to go and schek up on how the Dryads and how there holding up in the dungons. When he arived to the Dryads they were as usal obsesing over Ramiris. He interupted there obsesing and aked the Dryads if they hade ben besy. They informed him that there has only ben about 10 adventuers in there levels this past month, wich was great news for Rimuru becaus he wanted to ask them if they could act as extra gaurds around Tempest becaus of the 2 new trets that have showed up. They happely exepted the new task they hade ben given and Rimuru was relived that there would be less of a schans than enyone would get hurt. The Dryads were to start there first gaurding shifts the next morning.
After asking the drads Rimuru went and asked Kaijin to smith some wepons for the Drads, he hapely agered to this new chalenge, to craft wepons for the Dryads is somthing not mamy backsmiths get to do.
After he asked Kaijin he was imformed by Diablos that Souei and the others hade returned with the information on the 'son to be new demon lord'
When they hade returned to the meting Souei informed them that there was a smal treath in this 'new demon lord' but that dosen't mean thar they can go in all wily nily. He also sead that the plan to meat them half way was the most efectiv and probebly the saftest rout to defet her and that she planed to start her march tords Tempest in 3days. So thet estemated that she would probebly be att the counter spot in about 4days. While they were waiting to lounch the atak they started talking about if the new hero and the new demon lord is in some way conected becaus while investageting Souei could only find rumors about this new hero not actualy finding eny remrens of how he looks or enything like that but he saw the new demon lord with his own eyes.
Raphael - The statistiks that the new demon lord and the new hero are conected is about 25%. But there is more information to get a more acuret prosenteges.
Rimuru things that those odes are fairly high but it dosen't efect his planes in eny way so he ignores it for now.
Later that night Shuna comes acompanying Eren that has come to visit.
Rimuru - Hey Eren why are you hear today and were is the others.
Eren - Have you heard the news there is a new demon lord that wants to defet you and I may have left them to get here faster they are ariving here in about 3days.
Rimuru - Yes I have ben imformed of this facket we have alredy gatherd information on it and were going to counter atak them in about 4 days time and we have asked the Dryades to be extra gaurds untill there defeted.
Eren - euu thats good to hear and fast planing. Sems like the others arent going to make it here in time to relax. I will tell them the news later.
Rimuru - Was that the only news you came with or is that the only news.
Eren - That was all but im relived that you alredy have it ounder controll.
Diablos, Shuna - Enyone want some jelly?
Veldora, Rimuru, Eren - yes pleas.
Rimuru - Veldora were did you aper from?
Valdora - I ashure you im not slaking of im just taking a breack and I can newer sey no to desert.
Rimuru - But what if somon gets to the botom of the dungon and there isen't a boss there to fight.
Valdora - Don't woury i have it coverd i asked Malim to cover for me while i was away.
Rimuru - good but don't start slaking, and while your free kan you eskort Eren to her guest room becaus it is starting to get rely late and she is probebly exusted after some long days of travel.
Eren - I can be ok to stay awak a while longer but som good rest dos sount good right now.
The next 3days were filed with metings and prepering for the war that was about to happen. On the 4 day they started there counter atak agienst the new demon lord that hade an army of over 20 000 people.
Gobta, Gabiru, Renga and Geld were sent to the back to atak. Souei and the others were sent to take down the Eastesrn side. Benimaru and Shino to västern side. They were all instrukted to only fight those they thout they could vin over and to priorietise there own safty. Rimuru went and attacked the new demon lord.
(im not going to give the new demon lord and name his shortend name will be ndl-new demon lord)
Rimuru puls out dragon blade as he is walking upp to the new demon lord.
New demon lord - HA you finaly come to get defeted by me. I was expecting more from the so caled Demon lord Rimuru but you sem like a wek litel puny thing.
The Ndl lunched forvared suprised rimaru could avoid his atack.
