Juno walked down the street of the city, only having a handbag in her hand. She was curious on what to do on this breezy fall day.
She was a bit cold, so she decided to head towards a cafe shop after looking through the shops in the evening.
The chimes of the door bells rang aloud, signaling the customers and baristas of Juno’s arrival. She walked up to the front counter while looking around the inside of the cafe.
“What can I getcha?” The barista in the front asked. Juno wasn’t paying attention for a bit, and then said her order of what she wanted.
She finally looked in front of her, seeing a beautiful handsome individual before her. She blushed a tint of pink over her cheeks, but tried to hide it a bit.
“Mind waiting over there? Other customers may come through soon.” The barista asked. Juno nodded and moved aside.
Ah... I should not panic, but they are very cute..
Juno was squealing inside while the only barista in the entire building was making her drink. She ordered a hot chocolate as she hates the bitterness of the other coffee made drinks.
“Here’s your hot chocolate! Sorry I didn’t ask for your name. But I can recognize a cutie like you!” The barista winked at Juno. She was going to burst into flames, melting like that.
Juno decided to drink her hot cocoa inside the cafe, while sneaking glances at the barista.
I do not understand why I think they’re so cute!
She blushed a lot after listening to her own thoughts.
Juno tried to calm down and continued slowly drinking her hot chocolate.
A few moments later, Juno had finally finished her drink and decided to leave, sadly she wasn’t brave enough to talk to them. She just left in sadness wishing she was strong enough to communicate.
Before she left she saw the Barista walk up to her.
“Hey I’m closing soon, but I just wanted to say my name is Sloan, but most of my friends call me Venture. I saw you sneaking glances at me and you’re really cute, so want to go on a date sometime?” Sloan winked at Juno,
Juno would pass out then and there if she could. It was almost a dream come true. Juno squeaked out a reply.
“S-sure!” Juno was ecstatic after someone she was interested in wanted to go on a date.
They went outside after Sloan closed up shop.
“It’s getting a bit colder tonight. Do you want me to walk you home?”
Juno blushed. The heat from blushing definitely warmed up her cold cheeks by now.
“Sure.. Also sorry I don’t speak much, I’m very shy.”
Sloan stared with much admiration at Juno and replied.
“It’s okay, I don’t mind it.” They smiled back.
“I am a bit scared to walk home, so I can give you my address.”
Sloan had a tint of pink on their cheek, while scratching their cheek with their left index finger.
“Thanks, I’ll walk you home then.”
Juno looked down at Sloan’s hands seeing that they weren’t covered over the breezy cold air. She was wearing gloves and without thinking she put Sloan’s hands in hers.
“Woah, your hands are very warm!”
Sloan said aloud, Juno gasped a bit over not thinking, but yet she didn’t falter or let go. She wanted Sloan’s hands warm somehow.
“Wanna go to the museum tomorrow? I heard there’s an amazing space exhibit!”
Juno smiled with much love at Sloan already. “I’d love to Sloan”
Sloan already felt their heart skip a beat from this, but was grateful Juno walked in that cafe today.
