Work Text:

“I must just be weak to pretty girls” Siyeon mutters while drinking her beer. She was stuck at a work get-together, sitting with her coworkers just waiting for an opportunity to slip away. Her manager had asked her to go, and who could say no to Manager Jang when she gives you the poutiest look. Despite that, Manager Jang was stuck at a different table, talking with other managers while Siyeon was just stuck with Hong and Ma. It's not like Siyeon disliked the two, but she had come for Manager Jang.

“Lee, I have a question.”

Siyeon perked up from her almost slumber to see her fox-like coworker staring at her.

“Are you and Manager Jang dating?”

Siyeon was bewildered, she had thought about the possibility before, but that didn't mean she was expecting to be asked about it.

“I'm not, but how'd you even reach that conclusion Ma?”

“Well I'm always seeing you two exchange glances and there's been some chemistry between you two! You pinned her against the wall the other day for god's sake!” Ma was obviously drunk, compared to the other two at the table, she was the most obvious lightweight. Ma was speaking just a bit too loud, and suddenly you could see Manager Jang staring at the group.

Siyeon couldn't defend herself, she never meant to come off that way, but she never did want to turn off the idea of dating Manager Jang. Impulsively she stood up, going to go get fresh air. Walking out of the bar she could feel eyes on her, but she needed to escape before she blurted something out that she wouldn't want anyone to hear.

Once she got outside, the cold air hit Siyeon like a truck. It felt nice but she could tell she'd need a jacket soon. Just as soon as she was about to start shivering she felt fabric touch her shoulder. Siyeon darted around just to see Manager Jang standing behind her. Her tall stature and cat-like features stood out like a sore thumb, and now that cat was standing in front of her, cheeks rosy with an awkward smile on her face.

“How are you doing Lee? Were Hong and Ma bothering you too much?”

“Ma was just drunk, I just needed some space.”

“Would you want me to leave then? I can leave you be, you just seemed cold.”

Siyeon didn't want Manager Jang to leave, but she couldn't imagine telling her to stay. Although it seemed like Manager Jang wanted to stay out here as well. The two stood in silence, the cold air hitting both of their faces. After a while of just standing there, Siyeon glanced up at Manager Jang. She was standing there with her hair tied up, her hands in her suit pockets, just staring out into space, and all Siyeon could think was how much she just wanted to kiss her. Ma's question must've gotten stuck in her mind, making her think of a possibility where the two were dating, and all Siyeon could do was stare at her lips.

Manager Jang must've noticed the strong gaze. She didn't even look over at Siyeon, she just put her hand underneath the jacket she had put over Siyeon's shoulder and held her waist. Something must've been in the air, maybe it was the alcohol, maybe it was the cold air and Siyeon’s craving for touch, or even just the thought of having something more with the tall woman on her side. Siyeon went up on her tippy toes and kissed her on the cheek. Seeing her light pink lip gloss sitting on the girl's cheek excited her, at least until Manager Jang turned around and stared at her. Siyeon could see her cheeks slowly turning more and more red as she realized what had happened, and as Siyeon watched, she could see a face of wanting more appear on the other girl's face. A pout started to form on Manager Jang's face, Siyeon didn't quite know what to do. They both wanted more, but neither knew what to do with it. The air was thick, both stood in silence as the lip gloss on Manager Jang's cheek glistened. The only thing that stood between the two was hesitation.

Before Siyeon knew it, Manager Jang had her hand wrapped around her waist, dragging the girl to a nearby alley. Something switch had flipped in her, Manager Jang started looking like a hungry cougar, craving Siyeon's lips. Siyeon was pinned against the wall, almost like revenge for Siyeon's actions from last week. She stared up at the cat, waiting for her to make a move. Manager Jang grabbed her, suddenly holding the girl up in the air as their lips met. Suddenly Siyeon pulled away.

“Manager Jang-”
“Nayoung, call me Nayoung.”

Nayoung pulled the girl back, she seemed like she's been craving Siyeon for years. Both of their lip glosses meshed together as their tongues intertwined. As their bodies collided it didn't even feel like a cold winter night anymore. Their hearts beat at the same pace as Siyeon felt Nayoung's hands slowly start to creep up her stomach. Her hands were just about to reach Siyeons bra when they heard their coworkers call for them.

"Manager Jang! Lee! Where'd you guys go!” Ma yelled.

The two stared at each other, their messy lips and unruly hair gave away what they were doing. Giving each other one more glance before quickly tidying each other. Nayoung gave Siyeon a peck on the lips before walking out of the alley while signaling Siyeon to follow.

Siyeon stood in the alley, flustered, as she heard Nayoung from a distance speak to the two. Once Siyeon ran to catch up to the others, she could feel Nayoung's hand on her waist. Siyeon wanted more from the cat-like girl, but it seemed like their time ran too short. The two stole one more glance before turning around and saying goodbye for the night.
