Kagami would never share Marinette’s love of fashion, but she couldn’t help but be drawn into Marinette’s excitement as she rambled to Kagami about her latest project.
There was something powerful in the way Marinette could draw a smile from her as easily as she drew thread, when it was so hard for Kagami to do on her own.
“I’m not boring you, am I?"
“Do you get bored watching me fence? No, Marinette. It’s never dull watching you work.”
Marinette’s answering smile lit up the room, and Kagami felt warm knowing that she could draw out Marinette’s smiles, too.
