The Sahara Desert! Also known as the ”The Great Desert” by the Arabians. With an area of 9 200 000 square kilometers, it’s the largest hot desert in the world!
Somewhere in this giant sand ocean is sand... sand as the eye can see... wait! What is that?
A small pile of sand has risen from the sand. And it keeps growing bigger? It stops at 40 cm. It then, by its own, returns back to the ground. But what is this? There is something inside the pile!
The creature inside the sand is 33 cm. It has black fur around his back and head. Its paws, stomach, chest and neck are white. It’s a Boston Terrier Dog! It seems to be sleeping peacefully... its big ears start twitching up and down in distress. It opens its eyes, revealing light blue coloring. It gets up on all four and starts looking around, barking, as if it is under attack! The dog starts to calm down and asks itself:
”Where... am I?” The dog thought, in a young male voice. He looked up to the sun and covered his face with his left pawn.
”I’m in the middle of the desert, that’s one thing for sure. But why am I here?” That’s when he realized something else, his left pawn.
”When did my paw grow back??” He asked, shocked. Last time he saw it, he had gnawed it off to save himself from a psychotic eagle!
Before he could ask more, he started to sweat a lot. The sun in the Sahara is 30 °C. Death by thirst is a very common way to die here. The dog looks around to see if he can find a sand dune with a shadow. There is one! The dog sprints to it and lays down. He lays there for a while. He then sits up and crosses his front pawns.
”Ok, Iggy” The dog, named Iggy, thought to himself ”Think! What is the last you remember?”

Iggy opened his eyes in terrified realization
”I... d-died…” Iggy thought in shock. ”I died by shredding my own lungs, because of my broken ribs.., saving Polnareff...” Iggy touched his belly over, his ribs were completely fine. His heart was beating as well! He is alive!
”I died... I know that I used the last of my strength to drag Polnareff away from Vanilla Ice’s Stand! I could feel my own ribs stabbing into my lungs, shredding them!! Then Avdol’s Spirit, or something, came and grabbed my soul, I hung by his shoulder and we looked at Polnareff with respect for how he defeated that male striper. Then we flew up to heaven….”
Iggy put his paw down, staring blankly into the distance.
”And yet... I’m alive... like nothing happened... How did this happen? Why am I alive? If I really survived my last action, and what I and Avdol did was just an illusion, why didn’t I wake up in the mansion? Why did I wake up in the middle of the damn desert?”
”AAAAGH!” He howled frustrated, holding his aching head ”Nothing makes sense!” He said out loud. Suddenly, Iggy’s eyes shot open.
”Polnareff! And the others!!” He said frightened. While trying to figure out his unknown survival, he forgot that his... friends… are fighting DIO, or that DIO has escaped, as he sits here! Friends... Iggy thought back to after Polnareff snapped Vanilla Ice’s neck. The Frenchman was staring distraught. Speechless. Distressed. Rightfully heartbroken at the corpse of what once was a living, rebellious dog, laying motionless in a pile of sand.
”Polnareff…” Iggy thought regretfully. Polnareff was a very dumb person, but he meant well, and cared about his friends’ safety. The fact Polnareff tried to save the life of a dog that was terrible to him, being eaten by an invisible orb, showed how brave and kind the top haired swordsman was.
And the first thing Iggy did was attack his head and fart at it when they first met.
The Boston Terrier thought back to how he had been when he got transported to Egypt. He hadn’t cared about the mission. He was just a dog with super powers taken against his will from the streets of New York to a hot wasteland. But after everything he went through, the psychotic bird, and Vanilla Ice, he realized this mattered more than his own personal wishes. If they were this powerful and destructive, how much damage could DIO do? Everyone’s personal wishes are at stake if that supposed vampire was planning to take over the world!
The dog’s thoughtful face changed to a serious, determined one. He stood up on all four and started to sprint.
”I need to find the others!” He thought, dead focused on that. ”They need my help! Even if I’m too late or they must chase him, I need to help them! I don’t know why I’m alive again. But one thing I know for sure is that I’ve been given a second chance!”
Iggy started to run up a sand hill, now he had a huge determined grin!
”When we beat DIO, Things are gonna change! I’m gonna be a better dog, a better friend! I! Will!! Go!!!-”
Down? While in his thoughts, he didn’t notice that he started to get to the top of the sandhill and didn’t notice the way down. Iggy put down his front pawns wrong, lost balance and the surprised dog rolled down violently down the hill. And fell into a watering hole. Then it means there is a village or even a town close.
The dog’s head got up. He was not amused.
”This is going to take a while, isn’t it?”
