Chapter Text

007n7 was cuddling with Noob in his cabin, the smaller Robloxian curled up into his chest snoring quietly. He always enjoyed quiet moments like this before rounds, especially during the winter seasons as he was part dracobloxxer he needed more warmth, his cabin wasn’t the most hospitable and the heat barely worked, that’s where noob comes in as they love cuddling and will cling onto n7 whenever he allows it.

His tail was lazily draped over Noob’s legs while his arm was over their shoulders with them pressed up against and facing n7’s chest. He sighed contentedly, smiling a little while his pointed ears twitched listening for any movement aside from Sc0ut, the little noob that normally stayed on his burger hat, scuttling around making a web somewhere.

He and noob had been keeping their relationship more so on the down low the most they can, for two reasons, one being that n7 was a former hacker and wasn’t incredibly liked though some had begun to get over that initial dislike as they had begun to see how much he has changed, and he didn’t want noob to also be somewhat shunned for being with him, and for two, noob is John Doe’s kid, thus basically making them Builderman’s grandchild and Builderman was particularly protective of them as they are a reminder of who John Doe used to be before the corruption took hold.

Noob shifted a little and was waking up a little, “mh…Sev…?” they sleepily looked up at the ex-hacker “hey dove” n7 smiled softly kissing their forehead brushing away some of their fluffy yellow hair away from their eyes.

The two got up and n7 had gone out of the room to allow noob to change with some privacy, noob stepped out wearing their usual blue sweater, lime green cargo pants, and dirty white and black sneakers, “looking good as always my dove” n7 smiled softly kissing noobs cheek again before changing into his usual button up, blue sweater vest, beige pants, and black boots, not forgetting his signature burger hat with Sc0ut on top.

Noob smiled happily and started chatting with n7 as they walked up to the main cabin for breakfast. Well noob at least, n7 still didn’t feel fully comfortable eating with the others yet, plus he doubted they cooked any bacon based on the lack of the smell.

He sat on the steps waiting for noob to come back when he was approached by shedletsky, the bird man of course eating some fried chicken “Y’know I’ve noticed you and noob getting close seven, you guys are almost always together.” He spoke in between bites of chicken, n7’s heart pounded slightly he had forgotten that shedletsky had been an admin so he was incredibly observant even if he acted aloof and goofy he could easily switch into a more serious act, especially during rounds, n7 took a deep breath “I don’t know what you mean Shedletsky” he didn’t look the admin in the eyes, his tail twitched nervously.

Shedletsky chuckled some “I’m not an idiot 007n7, you should know that I don’t care if you’re dating them, just don’t hurt them.” He pats 007n7’s shoulder before heading into the cabin, stopping at the door “seriously seven hurt them and being banned won’t be the worst thing you’ve experienced, we may have some messed up history due to your hacking days, but I can see you’ve definitely changed.” He then turned back and went into the cabin leaving 007n7 outside alone again.

Noob was sitting next to Elliot happily eating some pizza for breakfast. Their tail swished as they spoke to Builderman about some of their old parties before they were forsaken, then they remembered that 007n7 was likely still sitting outside by himself, or herself, they really needed to check what pronouns n7 was using today.

They excused themself, sneaking an extra slice and putting some sausage toppings onto it knowing how n7’s diet was due to his dracobloxxer side, they stepped outside and sat right next to the ex-hacker who was zoned out while working on the c00lGUI, they didn’t know much about it but they remembered some things n7 had told them about it, and also remembered the carnage it helped n7 cause.

They had to admit even in the past although they definitely were scared of him, they had developed a guilty crush on him, the two were about the same age, though noob was two years older than n7.

They curled into his side and held the plate out in front of him “got you some pizza Hun” noob smiled as n7 set the GUI down “thank you dove.” He ate the pizza sighing happily as he ate, his tail intertwined with noobs while they braided some of his curls.

A round had started soon after n7 finished separating the two. This round the selected killer was John Doe which made noob a lot more on edge, they were always on edge but it was a lot worse as the corrupted man was their own father, and it hurt them to see how their own father had forgotten them. Though sometimes they could see a slight bit of hesitance in john’s good eye before that now familiar cloud of blood lust returns to it.

They were in the corner of the map, it was underground war(I forgot its name so idk if this is right), they were snacking on some jerky from a small bag they managed to hide in their pocket, it didn’t do anything like their other things but then they heard it, heavy thundering footsteps, their hair stood up, their ears went back, and their tail puffed up as the large man turned the corner, his ears also pinned back but out of aggression rather than fear, he prowled closer distorted growling filled the air, noob curled up back in the corner instinctively letting out nervous chirps.

The sounds made John Doe freeze for a second and his good eye softened as his clawed hand reached for noob to grab their face and examine them. They tensed up immediately when they were grabbed by the claws but relaxed some as the corrupted man sat in front of them looking at them curiously letting out chuffs and low growls, as he is unable to form words.

007n7 was panicking as he couldn’t find Noob and the sentinels also didn’t know where John doe had gone, which only worsened his worry. He ran around the map searching for Noob when he heard Noob laughing, and he went to the source, freezing when he saw them sitting next to John Doe, whom was letting Noob mess with his messed up and frizzy hair, there were small bows all in it.

007n7 relaxed and tried to sneak away but John had noticed him and let out a snarl the blood lust returning to his gaze as he got up to swipe at the dracobloxxer, but Noob stood in between the two taking the hit, john froze has he saw Noob fall back crying out in pain, “Noob! Shit!” 007n7 caught Noob and immediately started running while carrying them.

The round ended right as John had started moving to grab them. 007n7 was still holding Noob, who was now fully healed, they scrambled away from each other, both bright red. Builderman had pulled Noob to the side to talk.

Noob looked at the admin nervous, Builderman looked over Noob just in case like he always did “you alright kid?” he asked as he pulled away from Noob who nodded, “he let me braid his hair pop…” Noob looked at Builderman with teary eyes, builderman hugged him close “really…?” builderman asked to confirm while Noob sniffled into his shoulder nodding. He had been noticing inconsistence’s lately, the being that was keeping them here in this damned realm clearly had been losing control, some of the killers seemed to be more and more dazed lately, some no longer even killing, but they also hadn’t been receiving the usual amount of supplies they got which meant more rationing. He would be discussing this with his fellow admins later.

Noob was laying in their bed thinking about how their father looked at them with such affection and guilt they hadn’t seen in forever, they cried quietly hugging a bunny plush John had given them when they were about five. There was a knock on their door and they wiped their tears “its open…” they called out from their bed and 007n7 walked in frowning when he saw how curled up noob was and their tail swished he said nothing as he laid next to them and held them close allowing them to breakdown fully, at least until they fell asleep in his arms he laid them in their bed tucking them in, Sc0ut crawled down and laid by noobs head letting out a chittering noise, n7 took off his glasses before laying next to noob pulling them close to him.

Chance was walking out to noob’s cabin to let them know lunch was ready when they knocked with no answer he opened the door and their jaw dropped seeing the sight before him ‘oh shit- I am going to owe Veeronica so much money’ they thought as he turned and walked out letting the two sleep.

They opened the main cabin door chuckling “what are you laughing about chance?” Elliot asked raising a brow as his partner walked into the kitchen “I owe Vee 20 bucks darling, you’ll never guess who I just caught cuddling” they wrapped an arm around Elliots shoulders and the pizza man raised a brow “who?” he faced his partner “noob and 007n7” they did a little jazz hand motion and Elliot looked at them shocked “seriously?! I knew they seemed closer recently but I just thought n7 was finally just coming out of his shell” Elliot chuckled a little, “so we’re definitely gonna tell the others, right?” chance raised a brow and Elliot nodded.

They had told the others over dinner, the only reason they hadn’t kept it secret was because Builderman would’ve found out either way and they figured the CEO’s anger wouldn’t be as bad if they told him before he found out himself, as many would think it did not help, at all, it took Shedletsky and Brighteyes a while to get the smaller man to calm down before he could go rip 007n7’s head off and scold noob for hiding the relationship, he wouldn’t have cared if they were dating in the first place, he may have been a bit anxious but not furious if he had known from the start.

Back in noobs cabin the two were lying awake now just enjoying each other’s company when n7 started gently kissing noob’s neck making them shudder a little as he pressed feather light kisses up their neck and along their jaw “you’re so beautiful y’know that…” he murmured as they smiled like a doofus and flushed bright red, they didn’t handle compliments well and 007n7 loved how flustered they got.

They moved in bed with n7 on top of noob as they started kissing a little more passionately, their tails intertwined with each other, but as things started to get a little too passionate Builderman opened the door, to see them only for a moment before he turned and closed the door behind him as the two scrambled to get up, “Pop! You cant just slam open my door!” noob flushed as they followed Builderman out of their cabin with 007n7 behind them also bright red from being caught, “noob, I love ya kid, not mad at you for dating him but two goddamn things,” he took a deep breath “one don’t fucking hide things like this from me again okay?” noob nodded a little “and two, lock the damn door next time” noob chuckled a little with Builderman as he ruffled their hair but shot a look at 007n7 “and you better not hurt ‘em, we clear 007?” n7 nodded “yes sir..” “good now start getting ready the next round is startin soon.” With that he left the couple outside to get his own gear ready as the damn thing that kept them there didn’t always give them their tools for a round, this was found out the hard way when Elliot didn’t have any pizzas for an entire round. Unsurprisingly they had lost that round, but now these days its been happening more often, hell there were also other strange things happening like rounds ending abruptly, the killers becoming more docile, but worst of all the supplies they normally get wasn’t coming nearly as frequently, they have had to seriously cut back on meals and snacks due to this.

However, these glitches have also led to him feeling some of his original powers returning, he had almost been able to summon his admin panel before it glitched and dissipated again, and Dusekkar’s shields had been stronger as well, not breaking as easily. He had agreed with his fellow admins that were trapped here to start looking into these glitches, and he had an idea of who could help exploit them.

007n7 sat there awkwardly whilst the admins were talking discussing the glitches, he had pulled out his C00l GUI and noticed the teleport option that was normally greyed out during intermissions was up and clearly ready to use “uhm…I may have a small lead on how to get out..” he spoke up nervously as he showed Builderman his panel, the CEO’s eyes widened “ya think its strong enough to get everyone out?” n7 shook his head “no, I’m sorry but unless I get the other half of the GUI from my son the half I have isn’t strong enough to teleport everyone without risk.” Shedletsky murmured a small curse while Dusekkar nodded intently and Builderman went back to pacing.

After the long grueling meeting with the admins n7 shuffled to noob’s cabin “that was exhausting…” he murmured as he flopped onto noob who let out a small grunt at the motion before wrapping their arms around 7n7 chuckling “not used to socializing anymore I guess?” they happily removed his burger hat to bury their face into his curly hair, being careful of his horns, n7 let out a small disgruntled huff “that and Dusekkar’s riddles were a pain to understand..” noob laughed a little at their partner’s grumbling “you’ll get used to it Hun.”

The two once again fell asleep in a tangle of limbs, well noob fell asleep, n7 simply kept his head on their chest listening to their breathing, his mind wondered off, remembering how his life had been before and how he deserved such an angel of a partner, he had been a horrible person before he had found c00lkidd, he had destroyed experiences for others, terrorized people especially Elliot’s workplace.

Then he had found c00lkidd as a baby on his doorstep, he knew exactly why the infant had been left there the moment he saw that the baby was part drakobloxxer, robloxians feared and hated drakobloxxers and drakobloxxer hybrids, he knew from his own experience. He was going to just dispose of it until he heard the infant let out a cry and grabbed some of his hair, his instincts instantly told him to care for the baby.

After that day 7n7 tried to raise c00lkidd the best he could, he quit hacking to focus on him. Luckily, he had money saved from his heists, but he still tried to get jobs though those often fell through, but he had at least got enough money to feed the growing boy.

Then that horrible day happened, c00lkidd had found the old GUI and before n7 could stop him he had teleported away, and n7 scrambled to find c00lkidd, when he found c00lkidd the boy had burned down the pizza place, and the skybox was changed to look like the boy. 7n7 took the GUI away from c00lkidd and he regretfully scolded the boy a little too harshly, that had consequences, the boy ran away that night and n7 was stricken with grief he spent weeks trying to find the boy, police did somewhat help, but he had received the news about his precious baby, whom had been found in the woods. He still remembered how he had looked when he had been taken in to confirm the body. In his grief he had ended up drinking and had died from starvation as he couldn’t bring himself to take care of himself.

He had begun crying as the memories came back when he felt hands on his face cupping it gently “Hun..?” noob had woken up to see n7 crying “is it about c00lkidd again..?” they asked gently as the ex-hacker nodded a little “yea...sorry for waking you.” He sighed as he leaned into noobs hands “don’t apologize, you’re allowed to cry” they kissed n7 who melted into it. 007n7 clung to noob "I love you so much noob...what did I do to deserve you..?" he muttered and noob smiled "exist, I can see that you've changed sev" n7 smiled, the two finally went back to sleep.(sorry for putting them to sleep so much its 3AM rn)
