First panel, titled "Eternal Rival Challenge!": Kakashi and Gai are lying on the floor arm-wrestling. Gai is obviously winning and is yelling with exertion. Chibi versions of his students watch from the background; Tenten looks mildly disapproving, Lee is beaming, and Neji smirks.
Second panel: a speech bubble extends from gai in the first panel, saying, "Yosh!! My win! I shall have my pick of the missions!". A scroll is shown with mostly illegible scribbles. What can be read is "Hatake Kakashi", "S Rank", "Infiltrate the Akatsuki", and "Burn after reading". To the right of the panel two speech bubbles extend from a henohenomoheji, saying first simply "...!" and then, "Gai. That one is meant for me!"
Third panel, titled "(Temporary) Rival Challenge!": Gai and Hoshigaki Kisame are arm-wrestling at a table. Gai is smiling and appears to have torn the sleeves from his new Akatsuki coat, showing the sleeves of his usual green jumpsuit. Kisame is grinning, showing pointed teeth. He has stripped down to his white vest and shows off a lot of blue skin. Neither is obviously winning yet. In the background watching are three chibi versions of Akatsuki members; Zetsu has no visible expression, Tobi holds both hand up to his mask as if to cover his mouth, and Itachi looks mildly disapproving. To the left of the panel is a thought bubble coming from Gai, saying, "I can do it Kakashi... so that you don't have to!"
