“Souji hasn’t been giving you any trouble?”
There was a pause as Kaien thought Saitou’s question over. “Are you talking about trouble in regards to school, or…? Because he has been tardy several times and keeps trying to get me to let him off the hook. I’ve covered for him when he’s skipped a couple of classes a few times, but obviously I can’t constantly do that…”
“I see. Thank you for your honesty.” Saitou pressed his lips into a thin line, his gaze flickering around the room briefly. “And…in regards to the…arrangement we made?”
(OR: Saitou was out of the country as a transfer student for a semester and enlisted the help of his fellow classmate to help fulfill Souji's needs. Souji makes him regret that decision.)
