"Phew..."
Shinobu finally made another newly concocted wisteria poison for her katana. However, she felt really sleepy after all the research she had done.
It's 10:30 A.M. Her black cat ears (with purplish tips) went down and her tail didn't wag a lot. She looked at herself in a mirror for a bit and noticed that she got some eyebags. She couldn't get enough sleep the days before.

A few minutes later, Giyuu, her fellow hashira and close friend, walked to the corridor of her room.
"Ah, Kocho. You look kinda off today. What's wrong?"
"Nothing, Tomioka-san. It's just..."
"I already heard you've been yawning for multiple times now. You didn't sleep well, do you?"
"Yeah, but it's daytime... I'm afraid I couldn't sleep in this hot weather," Shinobu replied while her cat ears were twitching.
"Alright then. I'll call Kanroji for this."
"Huh?"
Giyuu then walked away and noticed that Mitsuri was already outside. Her cat ears perked up when she saw him.
"Oh, it's rare seeing you here, Tomioka-san! Is there anything I could help?"
"It's about Kocho. She was really tired but she couldn't sleep properly."
"Huh? Shinobu-chan was tired?"
"Yeah," he nodded. "She told me she didn't get enough sleep in the past few days. Would you mind to accompany her for the time being?"
"Sure, I don't mind that!"
"Alright then. By the way, Imma go sparring with Shinazugawa and Iguro. They've been waiting for me in the training grounds."
"Oh yeah! Have fun and take care, Tomioka-san!" Mitsuri's tail rose up as a sign of a good mood.

Mitsuri did a princess carry, taking Shinobu to her room. She turned on a small electric fan next to her. The moderate wind speed from the fan was necessary for taking a break in the hot weather.
Shinobu's cute cat ears went down and her tail slowly wagging. She's about to fall asleep. Mitsuri gently patted her head, making her slightly blush.
Shinobu yawned, and fell asleep on her lap after a few headpats. She found this pretty cute and started to play with her tail a little.
At last, she could take a break peacefully.

It was 1:00 P.M. Mitsuri already informed Kagaya that she and Shinobu would have lunch later than usual, which he later agreed.
Shinobu woke up a bit late, at around 1:30 P.M. She was hungry. However, her cat ears perked up again and she started to sniff some food.
Turns out it was Mitsuri, who cooked some rice and cooked slices of beef for both of them. Her portion is significantly larger than Shinobu's, because she already had a huge appetite.
They both ate their respective meals to their hearts' content.
A few moments later, Shinobu noticed that the other hashiras were also taking a break, so she and Mitsuri ended up sitting in the corridor. The weather was starting to cool down as well.
Her black tail with purplish tips started wagging and went towards Mitsuri's pink tail. Both tails ended up touching each other, making a cute heart shape. Even she noticed it and found that it was cute.
Shinobu was flustered, because her cat ears and tail mainly move like that due to her instincts. When she noticed that her tail touched Mitsuri's, she ended up blushing, as red as a tomato.
