Chapter Text

Two time woke up in the middle of the night. Unable to sleep, their dreams have been weird lately… it’s always the same thing. The same horrible nightmares. About the spawn, the sacrifice that is waiting to be done. That is longing to happen.

Two time sits up in bed shaking. The hard rain falling against their window and the wind whistling. That didn’t help. Matter fact it was giving them a headache. They stood up, almost falling down from being so tired. They scratched their scalp walking to the bathroom, looking in the mirror. They looked a mess. Also probably smelling like one.. They suck with hygiene. They messed with their hair trying to fix it up a bit. Brushing out leaves from laying in the fields with azure. Azure was their favorite person. Always caring for them, putting Two time before themselves. How sweet. After giving up with the brush, they decided to just go to azures. I’m sure he will help!

They got dressed in just a classic pair of pajama pants and a bodysuit with their capelette to stay warm, not too much. They washed their face and got all the dirt off. It was pretty gross but, they just didn’t have the motivation to shower right now.

They opened their door, shivering at the temperature outside, but walked outside into the rain. Breathing heavily as they walked to azures cabin, pulling their hood above their head. Their breath heavy as they approached the porch of azures house.
They knocked on the door.
Azure was inside sleeping, but woke up after hearing the knock. He yawned before getting up cautiously looking out his window wondering who it was.

“My nightshade! What are you doing here at this time.?”
Azure said opening the door. a bit surprised but overall happy his flower was there!
Two time shivered in the cold
“ah.. I’m sorry I just.. can’t sleep.”
azure pulled two time inside from the cold.
Their house was warm, way better from outside.
“you walked here in weather like that?!”
“It wasn’t that bad.. I’m fine just a big cold.”
“Ah I see. Here let’s get you cleaned up”
He grabbed Two times hand bringing them to the restroom.
“One second!”
Azure walked away and came back with a towel. Setting it down on the counter.
“Do you need any extra clothes?”
Oh wait. They are showering?
“I do. Sorry that didn’t go through my mind..”
“It’s okay flower. Don’t be sorry it’s late at night! One second.”
he left again coming back with some extra clothes for Two Time. Just some pajamas.
“when you are done I’ll just be in my room. Take ur time.”
Azure said softly, he was always so caring.

Two time shook their head and shut the door smiling. After looking in the mirror for a second they began to undress. looking at all the scars on their shoulders from the spawn. They hate looking at themselves. One of the reasons they hate showering.

They turned on the water, looking around the bathroom. It was nice, purple scattered around and plants. Azure loves their plants.
They got into the shower, starting to wash their hair and continuing from there.
Eventually they got out of the shower. Drying off with the towel and getting dressed. The clothes were a bit big on them but it was fine, and they were comfy! They walks out of the bathroom and into Azures room Azure was on the bed reading a book but looked up at Two Time
Azure blushed a bit
“You look beautiful my flower..”
Two Time blushed too.
“thank you Azure..”
“Of course darling.”
Azure stood up grabbing two times hand and leading them back to the bathroom and getting a hairdryer and doing their hair. Two time was just sitting there admiring their boyfriend. Their beautiful hair and personality, their face, they love them so much.
“Timey?”
They realized they were staring at Azure.
“Sorry! I zoned out.. did you say something?”
They said blushing.
Azure just chuckled, placing a kiss on Two times forehead And continued with their hair.
Two time blushed even more and smiled. Oh azure, They love Them so much.😼
Azure finished drying their hair, Two time looked clean finally. Azure admired how they looked.
A: “There we go! You look perfect my flower.”
TT: “Thank you Azure.”
A: “Shall we go to sleep?”
TT: “ah of course.”
Azure held Two Times hand and walked into their room. It was about 1:00 AM.
Azure laid down on the bed and two time followed, setting their head on Azures chest, listening to the heartbeat. Maybe they could actually sleep now. Without thinking about the tragic to happen.

Chapter Text

Two time woke up, it was morning already? They sat up rubbing their eyes. Oh right, they were at Azures house! Azure wasn’t in the bed?
Two time got up and walked out of the room.
A:“Good morning my love!”
Azure said while making breakfast.
TT:“Good morning..”
Two time walked over at what Azure was doing.
A:“How did you sleep?”
TT:”a lot better.”
Two time was looking down. They have been thinking hard. If you couldn’t guess, it was about that sacrifice. For the spawn, killing azure in return for the second life. It seemed selfish. Azure would also get a second life, but be in pain. How would Two time even attempt to do something like that. If so, it would have to be in secret..

“My flower? Are you okay?”
Two time zoned out and didn’t even realize.
TT: “Yeah I’m okay.. I just zoned out.”
A:“Oh that’s okay! Are you thinking about something important?”
TT:“…”
Two time didn’t know what to say. It’s supposed to be a secret.
TT:“It’s nothing..”
A“Are you sure..?”
TT:”mhmm…”
A:”well when you feel comfortable you can tell me. You can talk to me about anything you know that?”
TT:”I know. Thank you Azure”
Azure pressed a quick kiss on Two times cheek and continued to cook
TT:“I’m gonna use the bathroom..”
A: “okay! I’ll let you know when the food is ready.”
Two time walked to the bathroom and sat down on the toilet seat.
Why did their head hurt so bad? It’s not that hard of a decision. The spawn, or Azure. It should be the spawn. They will be upset if they do not do it. But what would azure think? The kind soul that he is. Always caring for them. Why do they have to pick. It’s gonna have to be the spawn. tears started to fall down their face. Oh spawn no why now? They can’t let Azure see them like this.
*knock knock*
A:“Two time are you okay.? Are
You crying?”
Azure said behind the door worried.
Two time wiped their face trying to make it seem otherwise.
TT:“I-I’m okay Azure. Just give me a second.”
It was obvious in their voice that they were crying.
A:“Please my flower if something is bothering you, you can tell me. I can’t help you if you bottle it all up..”
TT:”I’m fine Azure. Please just leave me be.”
A:”As you wish…”
Finally. The choice has an answer.

After a little bit, two time exited that bathroom looking normal now. They looked at Azure who was sitting at the table eating.
They walked over to the table and sat next to Them.
A:”Ah how are you feeling timey?”
TT:”I’m fine..”
A: “are you hungry my love? It would be nice if you ate something.”
TT:”I’m okay. I’m not hungry
A:”Just a few bites won’t hurt! I dont know if you ate last night but..”
I guess.. just a few bites won’t hurt. Especially if they get to spend time with him.
TT:”okay.. if you insist.”
Azure got up smiling, He looked so handsome. He went to go serve Two Time a plate.
A:” Here you go! Here have a bite tell me what you think!”
Azure held out the fork with (whatever food you want idk..🥹) and Two Time took a bite
Oh my spawn it is amazing.
TT:”Wow Azure! This is amazing.”
A:”I’m glad you like it my flower!”

After a bit two time finished their food, getting up from the table.
TT:” that was absolutely delicious Azure!”
Azure chucked before responding
A:” Im really pleased you enjoyed it!!”
TT: “I was also wondering if maybe tonight..at moonrise if you would like to meet me at the field? Just the two of us.”
Two time said with a forced smile. This is gonna hurt not just Azure, but also them.
“Of course my flower! I’d love too! Any specific reason?”
Azure responded with a pure smile.
TT: “No no specific reason. I just think that we need to spend some more time together! Sorry if you felt as I was setting you aside recently I just..was more focused on my duties.”
A:”Ah that’s alright Time. I get it, I’d love to spend time with you!”
Two time just stared at Azure and laughed, Azure laughed with them both really knowing why they were laughing..?

Two time was back at their house getting ready. They are going to the field with Azure tonight!.. that should be a good thing right..?

Two time finished getting dressed, and put their dagger on their side like always! But never around Azure usually.. tonight was different. They sat down on their bed just thinking. Thinking about how they would do this. They wanted to spend time with Azure before. He’s really nice to be around, so kind, so caring. At the end of tonight while watching the moon. That’s when it will happen. The spawn would accept the sacrifice and grant them the second life.
That’s enough thinking just do it already.

They opened the door to their cabin, stepping outside shivering at the temperature. It’s been a little chilly recently.
They started walking to the field, passing Azures cabin. They saw him walking around in there getting ready. That’s the last time he’ll be in there. Anyways they wanna be early so they started walking a bit earlier then Azure. The walk was pretty calming, just the noise of the wind and some birds.

Eventually they started approaching the field, it was as beautiful as ever. The trees slowly swaying from the calming wind, the silence with crickets breaking it, ah this is beautiful. Two time took a seat in the fluffy grass where them and Azure usually sat. It wasn’t quite moonrise yet but there was atleast 10 more minutes before then. They looked at the sky, The fading orange to dark blue, it was basically full blue you could see both the moon and sun, as well as some stars. Azure knows alot about stars, (HC.) he always tells them too look out for the Big Dipper, Oh Azure, always so smart. It’s been ten minutes and it’s moonrise now. Azure is taking a second..? That’s surprising.
Suddenly a figure came running to the field.
A: I’m sorry I’m late time! Here I picked these for you..”
He held out a bouquet of flowers, he also looked a bit scratched up, probably from running through the trees.
“Oh wow Azure.. You didn’t need to.”
Two time said taking the flowers
“I wanted to Timey..I hope you like them.”
Azure said blushing, putting his hands together.
“Of course I love them! Thank you Azure I am forever grateful.”
Two time stood up and hugged Azure.
Azure hugged them back.
“I’m glad, you look amazing as ever my time.”
Azure said, still hugging onto two time.
“Thank you Azu.. can say the same for you!”
Two time put their head on Azures chest hugging him tighter.
They both laughed together and sat down, still hugging.
“It seems so much nicer tonight? Don’t you think? Also look there! It’s a Scorpius constellation!”
Azure said pointing up at the sky,
“That’s amazing! That’s the first time I’ve seen a scorpius!”
Two time just giggled at him, before laying down beside Azure and just looking at the sky. Azure did the same, just looking up and reaching for two times hand. They held hands in the darkness looking at the stars above.

“My flower, I have a question I’ve been meaning to ask you…”
Azure said turning their face towards Two time.
“Ah wait please before that.. just let me do something.”
Two time got up and sat on Azures waist, shaking quite frantically.
“Just don’t make any noise okay..? Just do this for me… AND THE SPAWN.”
Two time pulled out their dagger.
“Two ti-“
Azure got cut off with the sharp pain of Times dagger, stabbing him in the chest.
“Two time?!? What are you doi-“
Two time took the dagger out before stabbing Azure again.
Azure was coughing a bunch, you could hear his breathing getting worse by the second.
“I said.. please don’t make any noise..”
Two time said, tears forming before falling down their cheek.
“Why.. Time why…please just-“
They took the dagger out and started repeatedly stabbing him.
“JUST STOP! SHUT UP!!”
Two time said, stabbing him a bunch more. The shanking just stopped, they had their head in their hands and seemed to be crying.
“I’m sorry Azure. Please forgive me..”
They hugged him holding him tight,
“I- wanted to say.. I love..you…”
Azure said weakly before just going silent.
“Azure…?”
Two time put their head up to his chest. Listening to the fading heartbeat before silence.

“TWO TIME?! Are you okay?!?”
Huh..? What happened..?
Two time sat up in bed.
