INT. TEAM RWBY’S DORM ROOM - NIGHT
Overhead shot of YANG lying asleep in bed. She is shaken awake by WEISS.
YANG
(bleary)
Weiss? Are you okay? Weren't you in Blake’s bed?
WEISS
(softly)
Her ears kept tickling my face. I couldn't sleep at all. Can I sleep here?
YANG
Of course!
Weiss snuggles up to Yang and closes her eyes, draping a wing over her.
WEISS
Thanks.
Yang stares up at the ceiling with an unreadable expression. Weiss’ wing moves up onto Yang’s face in her sleep.
YANG
Achoo!
The wing slips off of Yang’s face and her expression becomes disgruntled immediately after the sneeze. The wing slips back onto Yang’s face. Weiss is still asleep.
YANG
Achoo!
It's going to be a long night.
TRANSITION INTO CHARACTER EYECATCH:
INT. TEAM RWBY’S DORM ROOM - DAY
WEISS is lying on her stomach on her bed. She is tossing and turning through various resting positions, unable to get comfortable. She jumps out of bed.
WEISS
(irritated)
That's it!
Weiss begins tossing blankets and pillows onto the floorspace in-between the bunkbeds. The scene jumps ahead through various stages of progress on the blanket pile, with Weiss standing in a different place in each one, fussing over arrangement, eyeballing distances, adding pillows, etc. The pile slowly takes the form of a nest. Weiss stands back to admire her work.
WEISS
Hmm. I still feel like it's missing something. Oh! I know!
Weiss walks offscreen, and returns carrying a befuddled YANG and BLAKE under each of her arms. She places them in the blanket pile and joins them, placing a wing over each of them like a mother hen, sighing contentedly. Yang and Blake share a look and then shrug.
TRANSITION INTO CHARACTER EYECATCH:
INT. TEAM RWBY’S DORM ROOM - NIGHT
Overhead shot of YANG lying in bed. BLAKE and WEISS are curled up on either side of her. Her expression betrays discomfort and disgruntlement.
Blake’s ears twitch, tickling her cheek. Yang GRUNTS and strains her neck to move her face away.
Weiss stirs, moving her wing onto Yang’s face, just below her eyes. Yang GRUNTS again and strains her neck in the opposite direction.
Blake’s ears tickle her cheek again. She twists her neck to look up in a neutral position. Blake’s ears are still tickling her cheek. Weiss’ wing moves back onto her face.
ZOOM IN ON YANG’S FACE
Yang’s eyes are RED. There is the sound of a BOILING KETTLE WHISTLING. She GROWLS with her mouth shut.
ZOOM BACK OUT
Blake and Weiss stir, mumbling and giving her a peck on each cheek. Yang immediately relaxes into a look of contentment. This expression does not change when Blake’s ears again tickle her cheek and Weiss’ wing moves back onto her face.
CUT TO RED, WHITE, BLACK, AND YELLOW COLOR TEST SCREEN
