The air wasn't really didn't have a pleasant smell to it it smelled like a landfill, as Izuku woke up in a cold sweat, the night mare that wont stop coming back of his mother dead and his dad standing over her dead cold soulless body laying on the floor and seeing his dads cold eyes stare at him made him scared to the floor so when he got up,
He ran until he felt safe until the morning sun was not there until the sun wasn't up until he did not know where he was as long as he was away from his dad he didn't care. When he woke up he forgot where he was for a few seconds then he realized for the 10th time he ran away from his crazy dad as he got his ripped up clothes that don't fit anymore,
on he looked outside the abandoned building he was staying in for the little amount of warmth it had left with all the holes in it and all the black mold, he started to walk to the top of the building and pulled his mask over his face he felt being watched but didnt mind it everyone stared at him and is torn up clothes and red shoes that told everyone he was quirkless or what everyone seemed to know
but under all the clothes his white angel wings showed just didn't really look white they were dirty and brown some where missing and some where itchy and falling out with some wood chips stuck that were definitely not supposed to be there. He was just sitting on the top of the roof hearing people needing help, hearing out for new noises, he heard something above him wind.
And something pushed it back and forth, he turned around faster than the person could land with their long red wings and blonde hair, the same person who was chasing him for the past year said, “you really need some food you know that?” Hawks said pitifully with a hit of sadness seeing what looked like a 10 year old kid and burned scars all over his arms and shoulders from which the holes in his shirt became visible.
Izuku thought he was dead and was about to run and jump off the roof to get to the stairs under him. But something in him wanted to stay. “I got some extra food if you want it. I'm not going to eat it all” Hawks said with that same sad voice Izuku heard from everyone when he crossed paths from school.
All he heard was food and his empty stomach didn't want him to pass on the free fresh food. Hawks sat down and asked Izuku if he wanted to sit. So Izuku did all he could think about the food. All he wanted was food, nice fresh food not like the dumpster food he was forced to eat.
So he sat down and relaxed for the first time in a while, and started to pull down his mask to eat when he realised Hawks was staring at him wanting to know who was behind the mask since all he knew was his so called name Red the people who saved him gave him the name because of the bright red shoes he was wearing.
And all the red marks on his small body. So Izuku did the right thing to take the food and run so he could eat in peace without worrying about people but he didn't expect the black haired man with the white scarf to be waiting for him ahead.
He couldn't think and got wrapped with it and fell face first but all he could think about was not getting caught and for having wings the last thing he would want is everyone finding out of the dumb ugly stupid quirk he had so struggled as hard as he could to get out even if that meant the scarf cutting his arms open and being yelled at to stop struggling and stop because he was hurting himself, he didn't care Izuku didn't care anymore he just wanted out, he hated life, when the bullying started when All might said he couldn't be a hero,
and his dad killed his mom in front of him, he jumped, he couldn't take it anymore after all that he was still alive because of the wings, the stupid wings all he broke was a finger bone the only pain he got from the 10 story building.
He wanted out of the scarf and he had to get back to his base where no one could find him. He somehow started to cut the scarf when they were distracted and got away. He will never trust someone's kindness again even after saying that for 14 years now.
Hawks and the underground hero Eraserhead turned around just to find a cut up scarf and dried up blood with no boy “crap he got away again we need more heros he's too good!” Hawks said with a disappointed tone “no we don't you know what they would do with him! Plus we don't know much about the kid!” Eraserhead said when they heard a scream a boy screaming for help for Hawks and Eraserhead the scream came again this time pleading for someone to stop for help then it went quiet way to quiet.
Izuku was way happier than he should have been to be caught so he got out almost without getting hurt. He looked at his arm and just stood there looking at the blood slowly coming out then stopped.
So he went on his merry way waiting for someone in the need of help listening then he hears it someone in the need of help so he runs to the noise but it was only him and the villains he put away already somehow out on good behavior he got ready for the first punch that was thrown at him from the man with a knife quirk but before he could move someone grabbed him and threw him against the ally wall with Alcohol, puke, and pee on it.
He was trying to breathe but couldn't. He also hit his head hard on the ground and got a concussion, all he could really do now was call out for help but he couldn't really decide to die or get caught and be sent to prison for being a vigilante.
He wanted to live. He finally got a quirk he could fly. He wanted to touch the sky and feel the air on his face so he called out for the only people he knew were near him… Eraserhead and Hawks…
then everything went black as soon as he woke up it was dark. He was in the hospital but when he tried to get up he couldn't move his arms. He was trapped on the bed and his wings felt lighter than they should have. So he sat up the most he could and looked around then spotted the 2 men Hawks and Eraser he went to cover his face but his arms were locked to his side so he hid in between his face behind his knees and just looked around before he could try to guess where he was Hawks spoke up “hey buddy how are you, you were out for a couple days now.”
Izuku looked around but still couldn't find the voice but he realized there were pillows and blankets in a circle or what seemed to be a nest. Izuku couldn't comprehend what really happened all he could remember was waking up that morning and still feeling the adrenalin in him for what Hawks said was a couple days ago.
“Wha- where am I” Izuku said in a dry quiet voice like he hasn't talked in a couple days. “We brought you to the hospital Midorya” Hawks said with a quiet voice “w-w-what” Izuku said before turning his head to the door opening and seeing Eraser at the door with fast food. Izuku's stomach growled for some of the food from not eating for a couple days.
So when Eraser sat down and gave him a plate he ate everything that touched the plate and left no evidence that he ate when he fell back asleep he could feel someone touching his wings.
“Do you think he's not going to try to escape when we take the restraints off?” Hawks said with a worried tone “Yes Hawks he's not going because no one can go in and out if they don't go to UA without permission and remember we also put a tracker on him so if he does then we know where he is.” Aizawa said in a cranky voice
“When he wakes up I think we should give him a shower. He needs one bad one. There is dirt all over his face and hair. And he looks too young to be by himself.” Hawks said with more of a worried tone “we will deal with him in the morning, go to sleep, call me if you need ok?” Aizawa said with a tired tone “ok I will and ill get the papers ready to so don't worry about is” Hawks said with a tired tone as he started on the paper work
he heard Izuku moving so he went to go check up on him and saw him awake “hey buddy sense your awake you should take a bath you look like you need one” Hawks said Izuku nodded got up and followed Hawks to the bathroom were there was already clothes there for him and hair products for his curly hair and stuff for WINGS WAIT DID THEY KNOW ABOUT HIS WINGS he turned his head to find the back of the hospital gown cut open just to fit his angle wings!
