Spring Rain

Summary:

Kurogiri and Oboro enjoy a day at the lake.

Work Text:

Oboro kicked his feet while sitting on the boat dock, his feet skimming the top of the water. Kurogiri was sat next to him, Oboro's arm over his shoulder.

It was a foggy day, the sky was completely white due to it. It was getting late, the crickets starting to chirp.

"Hey, watch this," Oboro spoke, which did not give Kurogiri much hope that whatever Oboro was about to do was going to end well.

Oboro stood up and walked down the dock, to grab a rock on the shore. Kurogiri turning around to watch what he was doing while still being sat. Oboro got back up onto the dock.

"I can do really good skips. I did like 9 skips in a row before! Just watch."

He boasted Kurogiri before stepping back to get a good running start, Kurogiri moving a bit to the side to give Oboro space.

Oboro ran, winding his arm and throwing the rock, which unceremoniously just plopped in the water without a single skip.

And not just that went wrong- the slippery dock causing Oboro to slip off the end. Kurogiri slapping a hand to his face as Oboro resurfaced, him bent over as he resisted laughing. His hand stifling the snickers that came out.

Oboro glared at Kurogiri from the water, Kurogiri looking up to see him glaring at him once he had calmed down only to snicker once more.

"Your so mean."

"I certainly am."

Kurogiri replied sarcastically with his eyes squinted in a smile. Oboro grabbed the end of the deck on the sides of Kurogiri pulling himself up, soaking Kurogiri's clothing.

"And you believe I'm the mean one in this situation."

Kurogiri complained with a pout. Oboro merely smiled as he plopped himself down on Kurogiri’s lap, running his wet hands in Kurogiri's black smoky hair.

Kurogiri eyes squinted and he pressed a kiss against Oboro's lips, Oboro smiling against his mouth. The sky thundered above them, the two pulling back. Oboro looking up at the sky.

"It's gonna start raining soon."

Oboro said, and almost on cue it started lightly sprinkling. But it wasnt long until the rain started coming down in buckets, the two scrambling off the deck, Kurogiri holding his suit jacket over his head to keep him from getting more wet while Oboro didn't care, running off a bit ahead of Kurogiri while holding his hand.
