Kaiser didn't know where he was going.
Kaiser just walked around Japan completely lost in his thoughts with an expressionless face. He couldn't sleep anyway, so this might be the best thing to do.
Kaiser wandered down the empty streets, his heart heavy with recent events of nel. He didn't want to be near anyone right now. He wanted to be alone.
As Kaiser walked deep in his thoughts,
his stomach's grumble reminded him he was hungry.
Kaiser looked around and,
He noticed a bakery and went in.
Kaiser entered the small bakery, the sweet smell of Japanese sweets filled the air, yet Kaiser's mind was only focused on one thing he passed by all of the Japanese sweets,instead walking towards his favourite food rusks To his surprise, it was available, and he paid the owner of the bakery with an emotionless face, thanked them, and took his leave,biting into the familiar test as he walked out.
Each step Kaiser took felt heavier as his mind replayed the events of PXG, a mix of emotions awakened within him.
He hated how human he felt, but worst of all, Kaiser couldn't bring himself to deny that he did have fun. Kaiser hated himself for allowing himself to have fun. He hated himself for letting this happen, and most of all…he hated that he wanted to experience that fun again.
It was fun finally letting go of his pride and starting something new, growing. It was fun to finally be able to fight against genius, which was something he always thought was impossible.
“Fuck you…”
Each realization struck him like a punch to the gut, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. PXG had been a revelation, forcing him to acknowledge a side of himself he wanted to deny, which, by finally letting go of his pride, he was able to grow, and it was fun to find out there is a possibility to fight against genius. It was fun to finally work as a team with the Blue Lock player, and worst (best) of all, Kaiser had fun finally being able to play football with someone who understood him, someone who had the same hunger to win, and someone who he saw as equal. It was fun playing with Yoichi.
“Meow”
Kaiser thought was interrupted by a soft sound of a cat meowing.
Kaiser glanced down to find a white cat looking up at him.
Kaiser looked at the cat then bend down
A rare smile shows in his lips, followed by a quiet chuckle.
The unexpected presence of the cat put a smile on Kaiser's face And pulled him out of his thoughts.
Kaiser looked at the cat, then bent down as he smiled at it. Kaiser started petting the cat carefully.
As Kaiser looked at the cat, it had dark blue eyes, the same eye colour he can never forget because it belongs to someone he knows too well.
As Kaiser ran his fingers through the cat's soft fur, he jokingly remarked, "It's as if you're hunting me."
The cat purred in response, to the attention, almost as if even encouraging more affection.
“BOOM”
Suddenly, a sound interrupted the moment, and Kaiser's gaze snapped towards the source.
his eyes widened as he looked at the unexpected sight before him…
It was yoichi
*”I-”
Isagi panicked as he realised he had been caught.
A stunned silence enveloped the both of them as they caught sight of each other, each taken aback by the unexpected encounter.
Both didn't say anything. There was silence for a while as they looked into each other's eyes, lost in thought.There were so many things Kaiser wanted to say right now why was yoichi here-.
“Meow”
The soft sound of the cat's gentle “meow” interrupted them once again, drawing their attention to the cat.
Kaiser looked at the the cat, its innocent gaze seemingly oblivious to the tension in the air…
Both Kaiser and isagi directed their attention to the cat, the sound of the cat.
“Meow* again breaking the silence between them as they attended now fully focus on the cat.
Suddenly Isagi started laughing.
"Yoichi .." Kaiser managed to murmur, his eyes wide with surprise. As he looked at isagi.
All the questions Kaiser had a moment ago all disappeared as he looked at Isagi laughing at the cat.
Isagi bent down, his hand trembled slightly as he reached out, gently grabbing the cat into his arms. Trying not to scare it.
“Sorry,” Isagi said, not looking at Kaiser, his attention focusing on the cat.
As if he read Kaiser's mind, Isagi continued. “Couldn't sleep, so went on a walk, and ran into you.” he said, still not looking at Kaiser as he began to pet the cat, its soft fur.
Kaiser had so many questions, but what he ended up saying was something even he was checked about.
“The cat has a similar eye colour as yours” kaiser.
“Oh” isagi's eyes widened, as he realized the Kaiser's observation was right.
"You're right!" Isagi said Happily
“They both looked at the cat, who was happy to get the attention as it sat comfortably in Isagi’s arm.
As they both looked at the sky without saying a word, Isagi grabbed the cat who was sitting next to them, and as he started to pet the cat in his arms, Isagi broke the silence.
“You have a nice smile, you should smile more.” Isagi said, looking at the cat.
Kaiser was shocked. He didn't know what Isagi was talking about at first, but then he thought that Isagi probably saw him smiling when the cat had done something unexpected, which made Kaiser smile a while ago.
“Oh, I will…” Kaiser continues. “Once I beat you in the World Cup.”
Isagi put the cat back down as he looked at Kaiser with a determined eye.
“As if I let that happen, you’re on,” Isagi said with a smirk.
They were lost in each other's eyes when suddenly
“MEOW”
The intense atmosphere suddenly shattered as they both noticed the cat doing a spontaneous backflip. bringing about a shift in mood. Both Kaiser and Isagi were shocked as they looked at the cat, and then laughter erupted, Kaiser's smile growing wider as he found himself genuinely amused, followed by Isagi laughing.
"Well, I suppose the cat wins this round," Isagi managed to say through his laughter.
A shared chuckle escaped Kaiser's lips as he nodded in agreement. "The cat certainly knows how to steal the spotlight.”
They both smiled as they looked at the cat
