Adrien was glad to see that his favorite barista was in today. She’d been picking up a lot more morning shifts lately, despite clearly being anything but a morning person, and some small part of him hoped that it was because of him.
“Detective Agreste!” Marinette said, smiling shyly. “What will you be doing today?”
“Trying to catch Paris’s most notorious thief,” he answered, “so, the usual.”
She giggled.
“I’ll go get that for you,” she said, not bothering to scribble anything down, knowing his usual coffee order by heart by now. “And who knows, maybe you’ll get Ladybug today.”
