Work Text:
The yellow and pink couple was sitting at the table in Pac's dorm, papers in front of them, holding a pencil each.
"How are ya feeling about next week's ecology quiz?" Pacster asked absentmindedly, taking notes from the paper in front of him.
Cylindria was confident yet nonchalant in her response, not looking up from her work. "I'm gonna nail it, like usual."
Pacster chortled, lightly teasing her. "Pretty big words for a pretty small Pac."
At that Cylindria blew out a breath, beginning to smirk. "Oh please, you might be an A grade chaser, but I'm the brainiac here."
It looked like another one of their little word squabbles was just beginning.
Pac almost scoffed, glancing to her. "Ph, you're really making the glasses wearing stereotype true right now."
"Now that's just slander." Cylindria spoke under her breath, reading a textbook to the right of her.
Pacster ignored her comment, pausing his writing and putting a hand to his chest. "Besides, I'm going to ace the history test."
"As if! It's on the middle ages!"
The two continued to banter like this for quite some time, exchanging playful jabs and friendly trash talking. After a time though Cylindria hushed Pac to get back to work.
But now that Pac was all puffed up he was feeling highly mischievous, and a tad amorous. Side eyeing his newly found girlfriend, he smirked, reaching his leg over to hers, rubbing the front of his shoe around her lower leg/boot, just slightly above her boot.
"Pac.."
He did it again, effectively playing footsy under the table. He was smug at her slightly annoyed sigh that finally came out. Usually she would lovingly play long but this time she wasn't having it. She looked over to him, eyebrows flat against her face. "Pac, I'm trying to concentrate on my studying."
Pacster huffed silently, his foot rubbing up higher on her leg, teasing her presently bent shin from sitting. With one hand on the table, that smug grin wouldn't leave his face. And Cyli was quick to respond, feelings leaning into his cheeky behavior. She began smirking again. "Playing dirty then? Fine, two can play."
Quickly she locked his leg with hers, scooting her and her chair right next to him, getting close. Putting a hand on his thigh and a hand over his own laying on the table, he sharply inhaled through his nose at her swiftness. She was staring him down with a certain type of glimmer in her eyes, her smirk transitioning into a provocative one as her hand on his leg/thigh traveled upward in soft and fluttery strokes.
Pacster's face bloomed into a bright red as his heartbeat grew heavy. He gulped, a lump in his throat straining his words. "C-Cyli, stop it." He almost pleaded it.
Cylindria tilted her head slightly, her strayed piece of hair falling a little more to the left, staring at Pac with a half lidded gaze. "Why not? You started it. No one dethrones my top-of-the-class scores."
That expression from her sent Pacster straight over the edge. Immediately he spun to face her, grasping her hand from the table while his free hand came to grip on the side of her body to her back, almost pulling her out of her seat, Cyli giving a tiny "yelp!"
An alluring aura washed over his expression, that lump in his throat long gone, replaced by a quieter poingiant voice.
"Is that so?"
He had given her a warning.
Now it was Cylindria's turn to blush, stomach twisting into a weirdly almost anticipating knot.
Strangely he agreed with her. "I guess you're right. But that never stops me from trying to match you."
With Cylindria distracted, the hand holding hers loosened its grip, and snaked around her arm, stopping underneath her arm where it met her body.
Before she could register it, she began to laugh. Pac had started tickling her with both hands, a flurry of giggles and laughter coming out from Cyli. "Ha ha, P-Pac, s-stop, that tickles!" He ignored her pleas, chuckling along the way, his tickling leading to her practically bounding out of her chair and Pac pulling her onto him.
His tickling soon stopped, and their laughter slowed.
He was holding her head with his left hand and her lower back with his right, meanwhile Cylindria was holding Pac's hip with her right, and his lower head/upper back with the other. Their smiles thinned into a straight line, and their eyes locked.
There was only one appropriate reaction to this situation.
A FEW
INCHES LATER
Hums, contented breaths, light/soft lip smacking and muffled giggles was all that was spliced between them as they were now in a full blown make out session, Cyil fully leaning onto the still seated Pac Man, holding/caressing each other desperately, awareness be damned.
To say the private couple was into it would be the understatement of the year.
And that did not sit right in their best friend's stomach, as he, at this exact moment, accidentally walked in on them, pausing in place and his jaw almost hitting the floor. I mean, Spiral knew they were together, but still-! Spiral almost immediately shut the dorm's door and ran off, praying for his unintentional walk-in to be scrubbed from his memory.
Well, he knew he wouldn't ever find his friends doing... *THAT* just quite yet so that relieved him plenty, but still, he'd rather not walk into them hardcore smooching ether. At least they were still private about their relationship he thought.
Nevertheless, Spiral was still happy for them. Because, in his opinion, it took them wayyyy too long to become an item.
