Chapter Text
Dragons, some people think it’s a rumour, however most people do believe they exist, even adults do to varying extents.
Although it’s not common to see dragons, it’s not rare either, you just have to know where to look and how to spot them in day to day life
Yes abilities still exist
Random information
dragonets might end up in a dragon school because their parents died or they have been abandoned
Government funded schools usually train dragonets (baby dragons) to fight
Any dragonet above the age of 18 must leave, join a wing, join a family or become a lone dragon
You can adopt a dragon aged 18 and under
The dragons and people who protect the book are called guardians and have special powers
I might alter some abilities, if you have ideas on what changes abilities may have, comment
Dragons tend to gather in Port cities
1 dragon year=2 human years
Dragons have 3 different forms:
- First form:
is their dragon form (the typical dragon)
Characteristics include:
it’s a dragon use your imagination I might add pictures but I can’t draw (sorry I lied, I draw flies because their easy to draw)
Lost and lots of different species (think of httyd but no ugly looking dragons)
their size varies based on the species of dragon
Have a higher chance of heterochromia
Eyes may sift colours
Unnatural eye colours
second form:
human form (your average human being) - height varies on how old the dragon is
Characteristics include:
-sharper teeth
-slightly stronger bodies (more durable)
natural bodies that are slightly lean
Pupils might slightly change shape every now and then (effected by emotions)
Unnatural eye colours (whatever eye colour the dragon has in their dragon form is whatever eye colour they have in their human form)
-stronger eyesight
Animals and sense their dragon side (dragon aura if you will)
-Third form:
hybrid form (a hybrid of the dragon’s dragon and hybrid form)
Characteristics include:
- a human with dragon’s wings and/or tail and/or horns
- the dragon’s hands and feet might also transform into claws or have scales during this form (this type of transformation only happens when the dragon is fighting/angry in this form)
-sharp teeth (cause this is my au that’s been stuck in my head for the past 3 or 4 years)
- size is usually as tall as their human form or they might shift into a slightly bigger form to help balance out their centre of gravity (I may have not paid attention to science but I still listened, a bit)
- can fly in this form but some dragons don’t have their tails in their hybrid form so it’s hard to keep balance in the air
all dragons can have all 3 (wings, tail and horns) in hybrid form when experiencing strong emotions
As you can see I put a lot of thought into this (accumulated by my imagination)
Dragon’s usually live in large groups such as
dragon sanctuaries
-a place where dragons and families live
-have facilities Big enough for dragons
- Have staff that work at sanctuaries to help the elderly
-idk what else
Dragon schools
basically an orphanage
Can also be a boarding school
Can also be a regular school for dragons
That also trains baby dragons
Usually funded by the government
A Wing of dragons
a bunch of dragons living in a close-ish relationship
Usually travel around the country or world
All dragons considered family
Dragons may wish to leave the wing to marry and start a family or stay at a destination they feel comfortable living in
Every one looks after the dragonets (baby and child dragon)
May sometimes take in a few stray humans every now and then
The leader of the wing has to be the strongest fight (such weird traditions, surely there won’t be any drama I’ll cook up in the future, tehehe idk what I’m doing I can’t cook)
A FAMILY of dragons
-mini mafia
-may sometimes travel around the country/world
-may trade weapons and drugs
-have useful information on many organisations
-it’s the big bosses job to keep everyone in the family safe
Lone dragons
Dragons that use to be part of a family or wing but left
Dragons that may have been abandoned
Dragons from a dragon school above the age of 18
May live day to day life like a human but still attend dragon activities and/or festivals
May live with their partner and children
May have a job
A bit about the government
(Why do I feel like the government in bsd is corrupt?)
Most dragon schools are funded by the government
Any dragonet without a family to return to when above the age of 18 is government property
Government run orphanages for dragnets might train dragonets to fight in the military or to help out in the government when they are older
